April~~

April's dark black cloak dredged against the ground as her feet moved slowly through the forest.

'Two miles they said, not far they said'

Her mind was sarcastic as she thought back to the humans she encountered a while ago, well it's not really their fault. They were on horses so it seemed less likely they knew the exact distance, but that was early morning and it was now late morning. The sun was right past her head and slowly moving, and she uttered a silent prayer.

Ra please make that thing move slower!

She noticed a light shadow in the distance and smiled. She picked p her pace despite her muscle pain and made it quickly towards the house.

That must be it!
her thoughts whispered

She was delivering a message that someone had given her, once she did that she could get that book from them that she needed to get to a dragon who could give her the ring that she could use to perfect her transfiguration spells, or atleast let them last longer. She knocked on the wooden door to the house and was met by an old looking fellow.

"Hi there!" she chimed, "You must be Lethero!"

"I am," He looked at her suspiously.

"I have a letter from a Mr. James Petrov that he wanted me to give to you!" April rummaged through her sack and pulled out a pristine white letter, it was embellished with a red paw print stamp. She handed it to him with a smile.

"This is charmed.." He mentioned as he turned the letter over.

"Oh sorry! Protection purposes!" She smiled as she tapped the letter three times, 'di-charmin' she did call it.

"A witch?"

April nodded.
The one who smiles the most has something to hide.

Rhett, Ringo Tori.

I flapped my wings, the day was smouldering hot. Boiling hot air seemed to cling to your body and make breathing just hard to enough to be half panting. I could feel the sweat under my wings and the uncomfortable moistness accompanied by it.

Raising a hand to rest on my forehead, like an army salute, I glared up at the sun. My race was closely bonded by the sun, we we're meant to thrive in it, love it, revere it. Well, at least from the books I had once read. I hated, but enjoyed it at the same time.

A small dot in the centre caught my attention and I squinted at it. It appeared to be getting bigger as it came along. Something glinted and cast a hard beam of light into my eyes making me look away sharply.

When I regained my vision, small dots still dancing on my eyelids, I turned to look again. The object was closer. Could it be an Altan? The thing I was looking for? The thing I had been searching for for two years?

Anger clawed my chest, scraping my heart and dumping it on the ground like some piece of trash. I gritted my teeth, my sharp canines protruding from my mouth. A growl escaped my mouth.

The object came closer, and I realised two things. One it had wings. And two, its wings weren't feathers. Scales. I frowned, what magical race had scaled wings and still looked like a human?

Dragon?

A hiss broke from my mouth as an instinctive nature set in. Altans were bird like and dragons were lizard like. It was almost obvious why I felt a sudden hate and fear of this creature. We were enemies.

By blood.

I poured energy into my wings and leaped into the air, heading straight for the dragon in human form. Air swirled around me making my hair erratically fan in different directions. The sun, it seemed so prominent I couldn't stare at the dragon anymore.

Anger, hate and fear writhed inside of me as I bared my teeth. Then we came into contact. I noticed one thing which made me miss his jugular vein in his neck, which I had nearly bitten into. He could only have been my age.

I flew past his hurtling in the sky just above him. He span around in the age, his large scaled black wings pumping. A silver ring was hung around his neck. As I saw it a strange electrical charge was sent through my body.

That thing was magic. Bad magic. I could sense it form here. It was almost like the cage my masters use to keep me in. A sudden intense burst of negative energy burst through me. I had just called those swine masters.

I had thought I had gotten rid of the disgusting habit. And I hadn't. I accidentally bit my tongue and the pain sent me reeling back into where I actually was. Flying in the air, attacking a dragon that was in human form.

He looked up at me, I was above him now, a small nick on his neck could be seen, just barely beading with blood. Then I tasted something metallic on my tongue. I hadn't completely dodged him before, I had just gotten him. Damn. Altan saliva was poisonous. It was like a knock-out pill. And the only thing that counter-acted with Altan saliva was . . well. . .

If I didn't get this disgusting dragon down, wait, I had to rid myself of those thoughts, he would fall and most likely kill himself. I dived folding my wings up and grabbed onto his shoulders tight.

He struggled momentarily, but I could feel his strength waning. The poison was already in his system. I let out a breath and continued the dive. I hadn't tried a double weighted dive before, but there was a first time for everything.

I pulled him into my arms, his black hair flickered into my face and I swallowed the bile that rose in my throat. Speed was definitely worst than I had imagined. A moan escaped the dragon and I gulped.

If I didn't counter-act the poison soon then be would probably choke on his own tongue. The ground was hurtling towards us, the sun on my back and small lights reflected off of the dragon's wings scales dancing around.

Then I spread my wings in one short movement. The pain that I felt when I did that was so immense it was almost indescribable. It felt as if something was trying to rip my wings off. My muscles were on fire and I took in a large gasp of breath.

We were near enough to the ground now. I felt my wings falter, and instinctively I folded them in and we just dropped. Keeping my arms wrapped around the dragon we tumble don the ground in the dust. Rocks tore through my skin and dug into my flesh creating small cuts and scrapes all over my body.

Slowly, but surely we came to a stop. I let a breath of relief. Then I frowned and gazed down at the figure resting in my arms. I bit back and angry retort and instead bit my tongue.

I could taste the blood mixed with my saliva. Then I closed my eyes and kissed the dragon. Because the only thing which healed Altan Saliva Poisoning was Altan Blood and Saliva together.

Keenan-

He came to with a groan and sat up where he was on the ground. Glancing aroung Keenan took in the field. The Altan boy was leaning against a tree. At the other end of the field a large spray of dirt radiated out in a starburst pattern, probably from when they had crashed.

Shaking his head Keenan winced, he tested the cut on his neck before pulling on the collar. Not that he really expected it to give. After making sure nothing was broken Keenan turned his silver-green glare on the Altan boy. He was thankful for the help, but really the guy started the whole mess in the first place, by attacking him.

Rhett

I turned to the dragon, trying to spit out the taste that was still in my mouth. Hatred for him was the first thing I thought of as I met his glare. Instinctive hate was a hard thing to get over, judging by my first reaction when I had seen him.

Even though I knew it was wrong I bared my canines at him and hissed loudly through my teeth. I smiled, though I knew when my teeth were protruding from my mouth like that my smile was far from friendly. I had often smiled at the audience like this.

"Where are you heading?" was the first sentence I deemed necessary to share with him.

The dragon-boy seemed shocked for a second, before darting his gaze away, "I'm not sure."

Oh, a run-away was it? Well, at least we shared that. If nothing else apart from the hate for each other's races.

"Well, you have no purpose?" I asked, as if it were some normal comment about the weather.

He hesitated before replying. I let out a breath of air and shook off the dust on my specially made tuxedo. Opening and shutting my wings I managed to find serveral loose feathers that had been tugged out by the wind from the dive.

He gulped, loud enough for me to hear all the way from the tree I was standing at, and replied, "I'm not sure."

It appeared that this was all the dragon could say. I rolled my eyes, maybe he was being purposely dodgy. I let out a sigh of annoyance. Hate seethed in my mind for him, but I pushed it to the back where my primitive side dwelled.

Then I walked up to him, "You feel like going searching?"

"For what?" he asked, taking as many steps backwards as I was taking forwards. It was obvious he wasn't too happy about what had happened before. Hell, I wasn't happy either! A growl escaped my mouth before I could stop it.

I took another step forward. Maybe it was the sharpness of my movement, maybe it might've been a little too dangerously fast, or maybe it was the hate our races had for each other, but as I slapped my foot onto the dirty ground making a small cloud of dust fly upwards, dragon-boy took another back and slipped on the only rock in sight.

I had to think momentarily for a second, fighting the urge to kick him into the floor, I flung my arm and wing out. My wing caught him first, sending bunches of white and black feathers flying then I snapped my hand onto his wrist.

Biting my tongue I resisted the sudden temptation to snap his arm and pulled him back up. My wing folded back into its place and I took a few steps away from him. Anger was coiling in my stomach. Fierce anger.

My primitive side was getting angry for the fact that I kept on saving the race I should hate. I took a deep breath, "I need to find others of my own race. They're missing."

I turned back to look at him, "Do you want to help?"

*lol, sorry but Ringo's very strange.*

Keenan-

"Sure, why not. I'd like to meet more magical creatures, even if they hate me." Keenan smirked at the other boy.

"You've never met others?" The question was laced with curiosity, but their was an underlying edge of suspicion.

Sighing, Keenan shook his head and glanced up at the sky. For the first time in his life he was free, he felt giddy, but at the same time, confused. "No, not even another dragon. I was raised by humans." The disgust in his voice made it clear what he thought of that. "So I will come with you. I mean, I just got my freedom, It's not like I have something better to do."

Not far from where the Dragon and the Alan were fighting, a huge technicolour beast named Altu lay snoozing under the shade of a pine tree. The russet needles were blown in large rushes by his loud, slow breathing.
He had his huge chromatic beak buried under his sea coloured mane of feathers as he slept. For once he seemed to be able to sleep without having nightmares. He usually dreamed of blood. Blood, everywhere. The screams of his parents as they were slaughtered by humans was also a common sound accompanied with his dreams. But not today. The warm sun heated his face and chased all the dark thoughts from his mind.
His scaly foreleg stretched out as he heaved a satisfied sigh, and one of his huge wings stretched out a fraction, before slowly retracting in towards his body again.
Crack.
The sharp noise of twigs breaking underfoot some distance away made him stir. He blinked sleepily, his tangerine eyes darting to the direction of the noise. He sat up in a sphinx position, his thick tail bashing against the forest floor angrily, sending pine needles a few feet into the air.
"I finally get to sleep without nightmares, and some idiot creature decides to wake me up," he hissed under his breath, his tail landing with one final thud.
He got to his feet as silently as he could manage, his head seething with rage. He lifted his head as high as he could, one claw raised off the ground slightly.
A dusty scent came to him.
Feathers, he thought immediately. It wasn't however a bird or any type of magical bird-like creature. This scent was tainted.
It was that unnatural, clean scent that made his mane of feathers stand on end. Too similar to a human for him to think straight. Half human, but enough to make his anger over take his actions.
He crouched on his haunches for a split second, before launching himself into the air, his massive wings unfolding and flapping with noisy wing beats.
He made a clean twist in the air and began heading to the source of the noise.
"Poor creature," he said to himself with a wicked chuckle as the wind whistled past his face. "I almost feel sorry for it."

Lethero slowly opened the letter, given to him by the strangest person he's every seen.
He knew James who was his old friend. He helped the Magical Creatures gain liberation.
He read the letter quickly at first and then read it slowly to make sure he understand it. It read:

"Lethero, I have to make this letter quick. I believe I'm being watched, but by who, I don't know. Your grandosn has been captured. The authorities are claiming it's a rivil pack, but I know otherwise. He is in a human prison. I have asked why they took him in, but they won't say. I believe another revolution is coming and it won't be good for Magical Creatures. This witch in front of you is April, I have trusted her in the location of your grandson. She is the only person I could trust at the time. Find hind before it's too late. Signed, James."

"It says you know where my grandson is," Lethero said.

"I do, don't I? But it'll cost you," april said mischeviously.

"I'll give you anything you need want."

-I'll bring your character in Billy-

Scado sat on the thin cot of the cramped cell he was forced into. He sat there pondering his fate. He knew the lord of this area and knew he was still strongly resentful towards Magical Creatures and wanted to exterminate them. If it weren't for the new laws set in place he probably marched his army out and wiped the entire population of Magical Creatures. Scado laid his against the wall and tried to shift to wolf form, but found he still couldn't from the drug they have been giving him.

He jumped when someone pounded on the cell door. It slowly opened and a young man entered. "Hello," the young man said. "My name is Meer."

Pippa-

Pippa ran behind Lane towards her Grandmother's house. She stopped in front of her mother and grandmother who were sitting at the table.

"You wanted us?" She asked. Nicarga, her grandmother, looked up at her and smiled.

"How was your run?" She asked.

"I'd have walked, but you kinda let us know it was an emergency." She said taking a deep breath.

"Oh right." Her mother, Laney smiled at her. Her mother still looked beautiful at her older age. "Lethero is goign to need your help."

"What?" Pippa asked.

"We've over heard that his grandson was taken, I have a feeling he will want to get some people together to get him back. You've been talking abotu how you wanted to take a trip, here is your oppertunity." Nicarga replied.

"Gram, I didn't mean on a rescue mission."

"Oh, I'm sure it will turn out more then just that. Now the four of us are going to go talk with Lethro." Laney smiled.

Lane-

Lane laughed, "Guess we'll have to accept this form of adventure." Lane smiled landing on Pippa's shoulder. Pippa nodded and they all headed out.

"Lane, can you grow. I know you can hold it longer now without trouble." Nicarga asked.

"What we going to go at Lethero in a small thretentin pack?" Lane laughed.

Peace

I sat quietly at the bar as Adam chugged down a large glass of beer. Men were dancing with women around the rest of the nightclub. Adam had put his rucksack on the floor and was paying little attension to me and I was thirsty. I went to a women a started kissin her at least that what it looked like really I was holding her mouth shut with my super strong jaw I coils see a glint of terror in her eyes as Icontinued to push her through the dancing crowds and over to the exit. When we got to the alleyway behind the nightclub I moved my lips to her neck and my hand to her mouth pulling back her neck. I quickly start to drain her and after a few seconds she is nothing but skin and bone she's very skinny as I let go I can already tell she won't surrvive after my feeding, I mercifly brake her neck to save her pain.

Adam

Peace must be feeding I think standing up to go get him. so we can leave but a group of five steps in front of me. One of them steps forward.

" you and your friend are vampires" I laugh after all I really am not a vampire but however is.

" don't be stupid if I was a vampie and you said that I would of thrown you over the table by now" the man nodded and started to turn away but then swung a punch I caught it and slammned his arm on the table breaking it he clutches at it falling to his knees and now I grab the beer mug a smach it across his face sending him falling backwards. Two of his other mates come for me but I grab a beer bottle and smach it on one of their head before sending him spirling into the other. The final two grab me though and lift me off my feet. One of the two I just sent to the floor get up and laughs a little getting out a knife. Just as he's about to end me Peaces hand come out of no were A shriek and then the one with the knife if lifelessy slamming into the other side of the night club the other two are down so quickly I don't register it until me and peace are leaving the nightclub.

" see if you just made me a vampie I could of taken those guys" I only half joke.

" then what would I have to do" Peace say back as we walk through the cool night breeze.

April~~

"It says you know where my grandson is," Lethero sighed.

""I do, don't I? But it'll cost you," She mentally cringed, that came out more desperate than anything. Lately her buisness of delivering, protecting and trading for others had shrunk to an all time minimal of almost nothing. The human's interference constantly made it impossible to get some o her oldest customers to trust the safety of her care. Gosh, more than half of them were in hiding at the moment. She smiled at the old werewolf. it was almost mid day she could probably make it back to town by then.

""I'll give you anything you need want." He sighed again.

"Book of Apollo maybe? Or if you have any of the 'Apocolypto'?"

April scanned Lethero's expression of surprise.

"You were expecting me to ask of money or pay in some sort?" The words formed in her mouth, "I never liked asking for money so I work off as a street performer."
bb

"Oh," Lethero still seemed surprised at the fact that the witch had asked for a book, "Here you go," He reached to a seperate bookshelf and pulled out the book.

"Bring him back to me please," Lethero was serious.

"Yes sir! You have my word!" At that April set back off into the woods, where that guy was she might need help.

*does someone wanna come meet april?*
