Yeah, that was fine Billy ^^

Lhuna, Yellow Hill

Her ears flattened to the sides. She'd never thought of that. She could follow the North Star until she reached the end of the earth and fell off the edge... So how far must they go? She furrowed her brow in irritation. Just as she had finally grasped something, it was already slipping out from her jaws like smoke.
Ossal seemed to know this. He grinned at her as if he was getting some form of enjoyment out of it.
"Did I burst your bubble?" he chuckled. "It will come to you if you give it a little more time. But remember..."
"The foolish wolf runs straight into the unknown, I remember," she drawled, laughing slightly. "You've made a good point, but... I can just feel it. I know we have to keep going North. Maybe until I find a Green Soul, or a Pale-Face..." She looked down, her brow creasing further.
"Trust your instinct. It's the only thing you have in a time like this; and it's usually right."
She nodded, and thanked him. "I'll leave you to rest."
She turned and trotted off, not expecting to crash straight into Rayne, who had been listening from behind a thick bush.
"Rayne?" she barked, her hackles settling as she realised it was just the tricoloured wolf.
She stammered in response, caught red handed by the alpha.

*she won't be that mad, Rayne, so don't have Lhuna chew Rayne's ear off or anything *

errr I may have to drop out of this one if chinchilla doesn't reply soon with Ghost. I can always have Kayla do something or another to get back into the plot.

*NOOOOOOOOO! OK I tried to post yesterday (the first time I was free to do something), but ever time I pushed check spelling it would take me back to the page I was at before. So sorry about any spelling errors.*

Leo~ Yellow Hill

When I woke up Rayne was gone, but Storm was happily snozzing away. After the battle every one was quiet. Most of them went to sleep.

"Leo. . .are you awake?" Storm whispered.

"Yeah why?" I yawned, and streched as I stood up.

"Where did Rayne go?" he whispered.

"I'm not sure. . .she was gone when I woke up." I whispered back. "We should get going to our den." I sighed as I got up, and as Storm obedentely followed.

Ghost~Black Tooth

Ghost looked at Kayla with surprise as he had forgotten that she was unconsies during the whole battle.

"Ghost. . ." Lark looked up at him as if wondering the same thing.

"Um. . .I don't know how to say this, but Lido was killed in the battle, by Lhuna." Ghost whispered to Kayla.

(I don't know how Kayla would react to this I leave that up to you)

Anyone know what's going on with some of the Yellow Hill wolves that aren't Lhuna or Rayne? Or does someone want to bring Cana back in to the plot? Please?

Randyll - loner

We followed Glory back to her spot, it wasn't very far away. All the way I kept jumping around and bumping into Sonnet and Glory. I always felt a little pupish, and often couldn't help but act that way.

"Watch it Glory." I overacted sneaking up behind her. "A vicious wolf is stalking you."

"Oh yes, very vicious." Sonnet tried to stifle her laughter.

I scowled at her and turned back to my hunt. I crept up behind Glory quickly and softly bit her tail. Glory spun around and snarled in my face.

I smiled a very wolfish grin and pawed at her nose. She jumped back and shook her head. She looked at me and got sort of an evil look about her.

"Looks like the vicious Randyll will have to watch it now." Sonnet said.

Zodiak, Yellow Hill

He stirred slightly as the sound of paws hitting the ground disturbed him from his sleep. He jumped up and shook himself roughly when he realised he had been sleeping. He wasn't the best of guards for Lhuna's den.
He turned to regard the wolf that had woken him.
"Hi Cana," he said, as the scout smiled kindly at him. "You on a scout?"
She nodded in response. "Yeah, things look pretty quiet tonight. I think we'll be okay for another night."
Zodiak got to his feet slowly, his joints cracking audibly in the near silent plain. He yawned, scrunching his eyes up for a moment and blinking hard. Black spots swam in front of his eyes for a moment, before they cleared after a few seconds.
"Want to go for a walk?" Cana asked him.
He shrugged. "Well..." he cast a look at the mouth of Lhuna's den.
Cana grinned. "You don't give Lhuna enough credit. She's up and all, Zodiak. Pondering over things as usual. C'mon, keep me company. I've got no one to scout with."
He gave in, following Cana into the night.

Lol okay. I'm still at school, so I'll post when I get home :D

P.S.

Moo, do you just want Lhuna to tell Rayne to go back to "camp" or what? Is it something she has to do alone or can Rayne go with? Just curious :) If she has to go alone because it's her "destiny" or whatever, I totally understand ;)

Thanks guys!

Rayne - Yellow Hill beta

Rayne's mouth hung open and she took a couple steps back. "Uh, I, uh..." she stammered, searching for an explanation. "I was, uh, curious," she responded. She tried to remain calm, but it was quite obvious to Lhuna that she was a little jumpy.

"Curious, huh?" Lhuna asked.

"Word of honor," Rayne replied, finally comfortable with her response.

Lhuna raised an eyebrow suspiciously, but said nothing more. She maneuvered around Rayne and headed back to the pack. Rayne watched after her, a little concerned.

"Strictly out of curiosity, what were you doing?" She asked.

Lhuna stopped. She lowered her head and closed her eyes. Her tail fell and hid a little between her legs and her ears flattened almost sadly. She turned to Rayne.

Heh heh...lol

I'd write more, but I really think the rest should be up to Moo ;) Plus, I can't think of anything else XD

Also, if any of the new little "packs" that are out there want to stumble upon Sting, you can. She and Toxin went further up north, in the event you decide to find her. She just got lost, is all ;)

Thanks! Have fun guys! :D

*is it okay if she's maybe caught underneath something?*

Hera~

Talon stretched his legs out, a wolfish grin on his face. Scythe was running around the clearing, swearing that she smelt something while Scimitar was trying to calm her down. Hera, who had been laying down, suddenly shot her head up from the ground, ears cocked. Towards the north as a familiar sound wafted around her. "Scythe, Scimitar, you two stay here with Talon," she said quietly, running out of the clearing.

After traveling a good mile and a half she heard whimpering, immeadiately starting North-North East. When the smell was stronger she spotted an odd colored wolf caught under a fallen and dead tree unable to get out. "Sting?" She questioned softly. The wolf growled. So it was her. "It's okay, it's just me, Hera." Sting stopped growling at once. "Need some help?" No answer. "Okay then," Hera smiled softly and started for the log, nudging her muzzle under it to see how heavy it was. "How'd you do this?"

After a few moments Sting finally began to talk. "I was chasing an elk calf and didn't realize that it jumped the long, so I tried to go under it, and got stuck. It's not as bad as it looks, I just can't pull myself out." Hera nodded and nosed the dead trunk once again. She walked over to Sting and began to dig around the younger wolf, trying to make some kind of hole. She did the same on the other side near Sting's haunches and jumped back over the fallen tree, giving her a lick on the side of the cheek to tell her everything was going to be fine.

"I'm going to lift this the best I can, and when I do I need to crawl out as fast as possible, okay?" Sting nodded and Hera smiled, digging her muzzle under the trunk and lifting it until it rest on her shoulders, her strained eyes on Sting while she waited for the younger wolf to move.

Cana - Yellow Hill

Zodiak came along with me on the scout. I was glad. Even though I was feeling much better I wasn't quite sure I could handle any trouble on my own.

"So, you've got a little think for our Alpha don't you?" I teased him.

"I am loyal to my leader." he responded, attempting to not give his true feelings away.

I didn't approach the subject again. If he didn't want to talk about it, fine. But I did need some sort of conversation.

"How were things from your side of the battle?" I asked. "I haven't gotten a complete run down of everything yet. I only know what I saw."

Haha it's not crap :) I can work with that ;)

Sting - Ex-Black Tooth

She sat patiently as she waited for Hera to lift the log. With a grunt, the log lifted and Sting squirmed out backwards from under it. She flew back a few feet and smacked her back against another tree. There was a sharp, quick pain, but it didn't last. Hera hurried over to Sting and helped her to her feet.

Sting nuzzled her gratefully. "Toxin is gonna be so mad..." She said, absolutely mortified.

Hera smiled at her. "At least you're safe now," she told her. Sting nodded in agreement. "C'mon back with me. Talon's back this way, and a couple other wolves."

Sting looked a little nervous, but went along with her.

When they got back to their clearing, Sting ran quickly towards Talon and attacked him with an excited hug. Talon laughed, amused, and hugged Sting. He looked pretty surprised. Sting's fluffy little tail wagged from side to side maddeningly. She was thrilled to be reunited with two of her former pack mates.

---

Toxin - Ex-Black Tooth

I raced after Sting's scent, which was gradually fading. The more faint it became, the faster I pursued it. My thoughts kept in time with my legs - racing at a mile a minute. Sting was the only family I had, and now she was gone. I began blaming myself for every little thing I never did.

I never paid enough attention to her; she was never good enough for me; I never played with her; I never told her what she meant to me; I never showed her that I cared about her; I never risked my life for her; I never spent quality time with her...

The list went on and on. And for everything I did wrong, I cursed myself tenfold. Finally, during one of my long strides, I fell to the ground, a complete emotional wreck. I buried my head in my forepaws and whimpered softly. This was a side of me that even I didn't know I had. It got me thinking...

Suddenly, the sadness inside me was replaced with determination, and I vowed that I would stop at nothing at all until my baby cousin was back with me, safe and sound and for the first time, happy.

Awww...n_n Toxin can be compassionate! Who knew?! Lol

No it's nothing she can't have company with. She needs to figure out the prophecies by herself, but she can still have some company Rayne :D

I'll post laterz, I'm at school and it's too early for me to think yet

Zodiak, Yellow Hill

"I don't like her in that way Cana, I assure you. Lhuna is like my sister," he said firmly, looking straight ahead and not diverting his gaze to hers.
Cana blinked, a little taken aback. This was a bit of a sore spot for him.
"Besides... Tier likes her."
He looked over to see her reaction to this. Her eyes widened a little, but Zodiak didn't give her time to say anything. He felt an angry rant brimming over the edge.
"I mean, why does he even like her? He should hate her because we're friends. You have no idea how much it irks me when they go off alone," he snarled, taking a deep breath and continuing. "And the thing is, she can't even see it! She thinks he's a great wolf. He's selfish and only cares about himself; he could never even stop to think that I might be the better lead hunter for the pack. He's all wrong for her."
Cana said in a very quiet voice, "It's her choice Zodiak, not yours." She had never seen Zodiak so bitter and spiteful; even he was shocked at himself.
He growled, the low sound reverberating off his ribs and shaking him, riling him even further.
"Urgh! I can't.... I need to go clear my head!" and with that, he sprinted down the side of Yellow Hill, leaving Cana glued to the ground, still in shock after what he had told her.

Cana - Yellow Hill

I stayed where I was and watched Zodiak sprint away. I contemplated going after him, he seemed very distraught. I decided it was probably best to leave him alone.

Something caught my senses. I cocked my head to the side and listened closely. Heavy footsteps were breaking through the woods nearby. They were to reckless to be wolves, or any other animal that lived nearby. The footsteps cracked branches and dragged along the ground, heading away from where I sat. And right towards where Zodiak had gone.

Zodiak's in trouble. I immedeatly thought. I stood to run towards him, but sat back down. Zodiak wanted to be alone, and he was one of the best fighters in the pack. I whimpered a little while I decided.

Loud sounds came from where the footsteps were. They were strange, I had never heard anything like them before. That tears it, I'm warning Zodiak.

I sprinted off down the hill to where Zodiak had gone, even though it meant I was putting myself in the line of whatever danger was that way. I hoped I could make it in time to warn Zodiak without any harm coming to either of us.
