i was right to what i thought. Food does make people ease down. I sat down eating my rabbit as i stared at Meave walking towards Luis. I had heard Luis talking that i would be responsible for killing the lizard beast. I grinned to myself before i continue eating.

Star glared at me. HE must have remebered to what i said about him. I still do not trust him or Luis but it was pointless to argue at this point. Maybe when this is done that i could argue.

Lindy

I became anxious with Ms. Midori. She had used to argue and now she became silent. I wonder if it was the wounds that made ehr like this. Despite being agressive, ms. midori was still injured and even i can still see some blood from the bandages.

He glanced at Maeve as she approached the two of them, “Hey, Maeve.” He said. Then something clicked in his mind, She’s a fire fairy…she can make fire. Does that mean…

She was already talking, though, “Umm, I was just thinking,” she said, “My dad used to do a lot of research on magical creatures and stuff, and maybe if you told me a bit of what you know, I’d be able to remember everything, or even just some of what he told me. And I might be able to remember if they had any weaknesses or anything.”

Luis nodded thoughtfully, then leaned forward, “Sure thing, I’ll tell you what I know. But there’s just one thing I want to know first.”

“Mmhmm?”

“Your fire powers…” Luis said, “Can you just make fire, or can you control it as well? Because if – if – any real dragons show up, you might be able to deal with them.” He knew such an attempt to control fire would probably drain her, but they would all be put to the test if Mori’s ancestors reached the island.

* sorry for interrupting Luis' conversation here but i think that we need to do something here...Just make this thing as a flashforward

Iniyuki

1 hour later and as far as i know everyone was a bit relaxed. yesterday was a long day and even though they were all worried about Mori's warning and the three day deadline, they needed some rest. Luis and the rest with power began walking around scouting while James and the rest went fishing or hunting. Other than that, it was just fine. Sure we were worried about her pets but we got Comet at the forest looking for any signs of movement rom Mori's base.

I stood at the edge of my camp facing the open sea and began folding my kimono back to my wooden suitcase. I had checked my luggage and there were still many clothes that i had been able to use. I might soon change maybe tonight or in the hot springs.

"Is that a real kimono? " i looked behind me and i saw Kate looking at me and at my kimono.

"It is." i say as i slowly put it back. "Why?"

"Nothing much, i was just wondering...Say Ms. Midori, what do you think of Mori? She has been staying at your camp fo a few days and i mean"

"How about you, what do you think about her?"

"I don't know." she replied, "I really much depend on what other said other think."

"I cannot fully judge her yet," i said, "there is still i am curious...but not about me, i have an idea."

"What?"

"You see yesterday, Lindy and I found a hot springs nearby here. How about you'll join me? We could invite the others as well you know."
"Then how about those lizards things..."
"Don't worry about them, i can handle it."

I had spent a while talking to Luis about the extent of my powers. I didn't know how much I was capable of, but I could produce and control fire. As far as I knew there wasn't any short limit on anything. But then again, I had never practiced very much.

I thought over what Luis had told me about Mori and her pets. Dragons were a big thing to deal with, and if Mori was some crazy descendant of something even more extreme then I had no idea what to do. I thought that I may be able to deal with dragons at some point, my father always hinted that people who could control fire may have an advantage over dragons. But still...

I needed more time to think.

"We're going to a hot spring Ms. Midori knows of." Kate announced to the group.

Hot springs sounded nice. I got up from where I was sitting and stood with the group. Being somewhere warm and relaxing may help my memory.

Alexis

Hot springs. Bathing. That sounded so good right now. I had begun to realise that I hadn't bathed in days, which made me feel rather disgusting.

"You coming?" I asked Chris, who had been sitting next to me. We had been talking about anything but our impending doom. I was glad, I didn't want to think about it. I was beginning to doubt that my small wolf form would be able to have any effect on something as big as dragons.

James

Hot springs...interesting. I thought. I had never been to any sort of spring before, it sounded like an interesting adventure.

I went and stood with the group. I draped my arms around Kate and Alexis. "How's it going my super powered aquantences?"

"Pretty good." Alexis smiled at me.

"Eh." Kate mumbled and pulled away from under my arm.

Suit yourself.

Despite the number of people that want to come, i decided that the boys would looked out for my camp. I do not want our camp to be demolished while we were enjoying the hot springs. AT the end, it was a decision to let the girls first to go to the springs. I felt sorry though for James, he does look like he wanted to go with us but i did asked him if he could prepare some food for us to eat.

We arrived by the hot springs after half an hour of walked from my camp. I had found a shortcut to avoid the three hour walked. Everybody was very glad when they saw this and despite the numebr of those beast lurking around, they did not bother destroying or coming to this spot.

The springs was a large one. It can fit up to five people and was seperated by a large rock so that one can be for the girls while the otehr for the boys. It would been better if all of us came but i do not risked our camp to be looted. Maybe after mori's defeat should we could celebrate here.

"Ms. Midori," Alexis exclaimed, "This is amazing. You had actually found this in the middle of a jungle."

I heard that and i glanced at Lindy who was blankly looking around the forest. It was not only thta found it actually. Other than that, i clenched the dagegrs closed to me. Despite this pleasant bathe, i must not let my guard down.

"So what are we waiting for" one of them shouted lets jumped in. I can't wait to take a real bathe."

It felt nice, even though, we had other worries, to actually wash away the idrt which is what we did. It felt nice to be clean once again, a feeling which I had forgotten, and while we were hanging out there, enjoying everything about that day, it felt like we could do anything, even fight dragons.

Chris
We had to wait for the girls to coma back and then take our turn. That suited me just fine. We didn't have to do anythibg but lie around and wait for something to come kill us. Still, it got kind of boring after a while.
"So, do you guys wanna do something, or are we just gonna lie around and wait for the girls to come back?" I asked.

"Can't we do something while lying around here?" Luis asked, glancing over at Chris, "I mean, we're meant to be watching the camp. What will the girls say if they get back, find out that we went off to do our own thing, and the camp got destroyed while we weren't watching?"

Luis knew there wasn't exactly much to do around the camp, but he also knew that it would be a serious mistake to leave it unguarded again. Mistakes weren't something peple were allowed to make twice in these kinds of situations. And he didn't want to turn anyone in the group against him, or even worse, split it in two by letting Chris have his fun and then defending their reasoning.

**Sorry about the shortness, I had no idea what else to post.**

"Well what can four guys do on a deserted island?" I asked. Anything I thought of required leaving the camp or needing some object we didn't have available to us on the island.

I glanced around at the group. Comet was sulking around, probably wishing his sister was here. I could tell he didn't like them being seperated, he liked to protect her. I admired that.

"What if we...no we'd have to leave then. Well what...no that's a dumb idea." Chris kept going like this, having ideas then seeing flaws in them, for a while.

I sighed and fell back onto the sand and stared at the sky. It was pretty clear now, but darker clouds seemed to be waiting on the horizon. I hoped it wouldn't rain.

I lowered my body into the warm hot spring water and pleasntly sighed with a dagger beside beside.

"Is this the best or what?" i said to myself as everyone was chatting with each other. My body felt good. Even with my wounds i was certain that with this hot springs it will heal faster than usual.

I looked up and saw a passing dark clouds over us. Its going to rain soon but i did not bother. Before the first drop would come, we'll be finished. I felt sorry for the boys though. I wonder what are you doing.

"Hey, Ms. Midori," i heard the other girls calling me and i sat upright. "Lindy told me that you were a geisha once."

i stared at them for a moment beofre i sat back. "to be honest, i was and still i am. Why?"

"Well," Alexis asked, "Well...geisha are-"

"prostitutes," Kate said.

I sat straight to confront these. "first of all, geisha are entertainers not prostitutes. We don't behave like that." but i can feel that they don't believe me. They began giggling to their own selves.

"I believe you," Lindy said and i thanked her for that. I nearly forgot about that. Oh yeah i nearly forgot about getting food for dinenr. I do not want to be dirty by hunting in the jungle so i suppose i would go fishing then.

"Hold on...we don't all have to stay here, do we?" Chris finally said.

James, Luis and Comet looked at him. "I guess not..." Luis said, after a few moments of silent deliberation, "What're you suggesting?"

Chris shrugged, "Well, maybe two of us could stay, and two of us could go hunting or something. And then when the hunters get back, the other two can go fishing." Then, rather selflessly, he added, "I reckon James should go hunting, since Miss Midori taught him how, and probably Comet as well, since he already knows and we need someone with power in each pair."

Luis nodded, not minding in the slightest that he wouldn't have to go hunting, "That's fine with me if it's alright with you two." He looked and James and Comet, "And don't worry, if the girls manage to get themselves out of the springs before it starts raining, we'll wait for you before heading over."

**Just wanted to try bringing this back to life...I think we might need to speed up the three days Amamori gave them, just to get things moving again.**

It was the third day, and there was more tension in the air than ever. No one had attacked and it was almost late in the afternoon. We waited patiently, for any sign of anything but nothing. Twice already Alexis, Comet and Star had returned to tell us that their hadn't been anyone lurking about. Most people were wondering if anyone would even strike.
Ms. Midori seemed tense, she seemed to want everyone to stay awake.
"Right people, so can we please repeat the plan? Who 's doing what, I mean?" She said, nervously . It was the one hundreth time she'd asked us to do it. It was probably the only thing that kept us from falling asleep.
"I'm trying to Trap Mori, using my powers while *name of person here* distracts her. " I volunteered lazily. Everyone else volunteered what they would do, sort of distracted, they didn't even have to think about it anymore. They just said it automatically.

Chris

Everyone was falling asleep, because there was nothing to do at this point but wait. We couldn't leave beccause they could attack at any second. i was worried though, because it was Alexis who was out there, trying to sniff out a scent that wasn't even there. Still, what if they caught her off guard? Could she deal with those pets of Mori's?
Suddenly, I saw Alexis, Star and Comet running towards us at top speed. Comet got to us first:
"They're coming, Mori's with them, there's way more than just a couple of lizards." He seemed scared as he said that.
"You mean, there are dragons?" Luis asked, sort of concerned.
"I don't know, but there are at least a dozen huge lizards, and I think we all sniffed out the distinct smell of smoke in the air."
Everyone looked mortified. Suddenly we heard a sinister growl coming from somewhere not too far off, we looked over and then the battle began.

~Comet~

I pulled Star and Kate back, they were the closest to the growl. Star's mind was instantly melded with mine, it always was when there was a fight. My claws were unsheathed and I raked it across on of the thing's throats. That liazard wouldn't be getting up very soon.

Social confrontations may not be my forte, but physical confrontations were like second nature to me. The smell of blood, the sound of fists hitting skin and skin breaking open were so familar to me. I could tell that a lot of my island-mates weren't at all used to the smell, sights, sounds, feel, and--heck--taste of battle. Except for the years I spent in a friggin cage, all of my memories were of us running or us fighting so we could run some more. All in all, I was used to it.

Will a deep growl and my ears pressed against my head, I spun around and kicked another lizared's eye. In many books or movies, the main character would now stop fighting altogether and look around at his comanions. SO realistic. Fights were too fast to waste time worrying for anyone but yourself. Lucky my sister IS part of myself.

Through my sister's eyes (try figuring THAT out) I found that whats-his-face was being snuck up on by the...things. Bringing my claws in deep to the next enemy and jumped over fifteen feet in the air to reach him in time so he wouldn't end up as a meal.

James

I was basically uselessly protecting myself with a daggar Ms. Midori had given me. I hated feeling so vulnerable.

Suddenly Comet landed behind me, right on top of one of Mori's pets. "Thanks man." I said quickly before he was gone again. Comet could be an okay guy sometimes.

Maeve

I used my fire to my advantage. It was easy to cut off the monsters and trap them in rings of fire. Although it never completely stopped them, just slowed them down a bit.

I tried to pull my concentration towards Mori. She seemed to be more vulnerable to the elements of battle than her pets. I couldn't get close to her though.

Comet landed beside James nearby. He had to have jumped at least fifteen feet. That gave me and idea.

"Comet!" I sprinted beside him.

He didn't look at me, but he heard me. "What?!"

"You think you could get me close to Mori? I think my powers could cause some damage."

Comet glanced at me like I was crazy, but did seem to be thinking about it.

Alexis

I was transformed for the battle, which unsettled me. Not being in complete control was hard, but I had spent the past day mostly transformed and hunting to make sure I could handle myself as best as I could.

My job was pretty much to dodge around the battle and as close to Mori as I could so as to cause a distraction. I was glad, I wasn't much for fighting.

"Lindy, stay here and don't move..." i ordered Lindy and the others who were not fighting as they stood at the edge of my camp while watching the otehrs fight. She shook steadily before i gave a dagger to her.

'Protect yourself, i'll be back i promise." they nodded as i took half a dozen daggers and my bow with me. By teh time, i went out, one of the beast hurled towards me. I shot it with an arrow before pulling it and hurling it to another killing it with a shot to its eye.

I moved ahead with some of them dodging the traps that i laid beneath the sands and pushing the beast to it and using their dead bodies as a foot hold. I wanted to get close to Mori.

I do not want to kill Mori instantly but at least make her unconscious. I moved back when a beast came to me and shot an arrow to its head. it will take 40 paces before i can reach her. I can see Alexis and the otehr going to her. I needed to beat them if i wanted her alive.

i curse myself before i went back to my feet.

30, 25, 15, 10... i need a little more as i threw a dagger to her legs. But at that time, i did not saw the beast going towards me. It hurled back to a tree a long way from Mori giving me a large pain to my recovering arm. I took a shot to its throat with its its blood mixing with mine. I stood up before i fell down again.

I did not realized that the impact was strong. I lay there with pain as i saw a beast coming to me.
I beg myself to stand up...i do not want to die, i begged myself. And as the beast tried to attack me, something within me was triggered and before i even noticed it, i can feel my hand within the beast throat and gave a chuckle to the warm feeling of blood that i felt.

Luis

One of the larger monsters attacked Miss Midori, sending her flying. In an instant, Luis stopped focusing on trying to crush the souls of one of the minor dragons and ran to her side. He pressed a hand against the top of her head as it bore down on them, seeing her willing herself to stand.

It leapt forward, claws outstretched, and Luis abruptly cut the flow of his power into her, inadvertantly triggering something hidden inside her at the same moment. He saw her hand lash out, the scales of the lizard's throat opening around it like water.

He staggered back in horror, not wanting to be anywhere near this shockingly dangerous new Miss Midori. He looked around, trying to get some kind of tactical angle on the whole battle. More of the larger dragons were arriving, and they had a dangerous light in their eyes and a pale orange gleam to their claws. Where they trod, the dirt seemed to burn up. But none of them had unleashed a firey breath yet, so he could only asse the barrier was still too strong fr the most powerful of their kind. Nonetheless, these were more dangerous.

He knew he had to try to use his power now. "Kate!" He shouted, "Can you pin one of them down for me? I need you to hold it completely still for about half a minute!" He needed to keep in contact, both physical and mental, for that duration of time in order to kill something this strong. He knew that from his lessons from his father and cousin. And in a battle, spending thrity seconds strangling a soul, being unable to move, was no easy feat.
