**I think she meant Chris and James**

Luis

"Amamori's like us." He started, "She's not just some human with weird pets."

"What is she, then?" Chris asked.

"Part dragon." Luis said, "I'm not sure how much, but she might be able to breathe fire or something. Her pets can't, I know that much, they're just really big lizard things. Exactly what they look like. But if we don't deal with her as soon as we can, she'll be able to call in more dangerous...relatives."

"How do you know all this?" Someone asked.

Luis seemed a little edgy. He didn’t want them making any assumptions about just how useful he could be. After all, Camille had said there was a barrier around the island, so only family as effectively useless as he was would be able to come through at this stage. No one like her, or his father. And they’d take longer to reach the island than dragons, assuming that the barrier could only be breached by physical contact. All his cousin could be was a radio, in essence. Just providing information from the outside world.

“I can still talk with some of my family. My cousin asked my father about this, and that’s why I was gone for so long. She had to find him.” Probably on the job…

James

I thought about what I could do, which ended up being nothing really. I wanted to be of some help though. Nearly everyone around could do something, except Chris, Lindy, and I. And I as never one to sit behind.

Luis was explaining something when I stood up and grabbed Alexis by the arm. I started pulling her away from camp.

"Where are you going with her?" Chris asked defensively.

"Chill out man, I'm not stealing your girlfriend." I told him.

Chris' face reddened and he sat back down.

"Where are we going?" Alexis asked when we were a little further away.

I smiled slyly. "I need you to make me like you."

"No way." she said abruptly.

"Come on Alexis, I've always wished I could be something more than just human. And I can help this way." I begged.

Alexis

I couldn't let James make this sort of decision. I couldn't subject him to this torture.

My chest tightened the more I thought about my wolf form. It wanted to come out. "You don't understand how painful this is, James."

"It'll be an adventure." He smiled.

"No."

James frowned. "If you won't do it willingly I'll make sure I'm around the next time you're out of your senses."

I sighed. I guess it was better for me to do this in a safer environment. "Go see what the other's think about it."

"Sweet." James swept me up into a big bear hug. "You rock Alex."

I rolled my eyes. I hated nicknames.

James ran back to the camp to voice his plan. One willing person. I deliberated. That's it, nothing bad, nothing wrong if he's willing. You will control yourself, you'll be fine.

Still, I found it hard to believe myself.

After hearing what Luis had said about Mori, i tightened my fist. She is not even human. I guess my theory was wrong after all. Yet still i still ponder that Mori was more than this and the whole island is something. I've seen this before...and for the truth i am sick of beings like that! there is no way that mori can be like that.

"I've been wondering," i asked Luis as i stood up and looked at him.

"What are you? You said that mori may be part dragon then tell me that what made you think she is dragon? If she is that dangerous then that means you are the same league as her!" i bellowed out.

I snarled at Iniyuki's words. Saying that to Luis was uncalled for and it could apply to us as much as it could him. I've lived a less human life than anyone here; I spent most of it in a cage that was made for a dog.

"He isn't threatening anyone." I growled, baring my sharp teeth at her, "He could if he wanted to but he didn't. If you want to start pointing fingers, just look at me; I'm only 3 and a half percent animal but I am less human than anyone here."

"So you're in the same league as her?" It was a challenge, and I wanted to step up to it, but something told me not to.

That would be me, dummy.

I knew that...

Wait until I get there to do anything.

Sighing, I agreed. Just then, James burst into the camp.

"Just so you all know, Alexis is going to turn me into a wolf." I blurt out. I figured it was the best way.

I waited for the reaction of the group. They would react one of two ways, they would either be fine with it or completely hate the idea. It didn't much matter to me though, I was going to help one way or another.

"You don't want to be an animal." Star stated.

"Yes I do."

I thought she would react that way. And now I just had to see what everyone else would think...

I did not wait for Luis' response. Star stood up against me and defended him. I narrowed my eyes before i sat down beside Meave biting my lip. I still do not understand them...i have seen creatures like them and from what i had experience were not pretty. I do not trust people like Luis nor Star and Comet.

James bursted into the camp and told everyone that he's going to be a werewolf. Everyone seemed to be perplexed to what he said.

"Yes, i do..." James said as a response to Star's response.

"Are you sure about, James? DO you know what is to feel being like an animal? You cannot control yourself and cannot fully judge right from wrong. You simply want to do what you desired most."

Lindy

I stared aghast to what Ms. Midori and what she had said to Luis. I stared at her eyes and honestly enough, she was not the same Ms. Midori whom i had know. What had happened to ehr to react like this.

"Ms. Midori..." i try to say but it was a failure when she responded to Jame's anwer.

"This is a lifetime desicion you're making. You'll never BE human again. Ever." I felt myself blurting out. It was stupid, it was non of my bussiness, but still I couldn't help pointing it out.

"Yeah well, may be I don't want to be human anymore." James said, hardly listening to a word I'd said.

"Suit yourslef." I said, staring into the sky. Dragons...how d oyou deal with those? How does anyone really? Why, oh why do they even exist?

Chris

"Yes, but are you sure you can handle it, Alexis"?
I asked, because it seemed everyone was concerned about James being non human, and no one seemed to care whether Alexis could handle it.
She looked over at me, to answer my question.

I looked to Chris. He was always worried about me. "I don't have a choice." I said.

"Of course you do." he insisted. "What, is James going to make you change him?"

I didn't want to respond but I knew my face was going to give it away. Chris looked absolutely furious.

"I can't beleive you would do that to her!" Chris yelled at James.

"She has to." James said.

"No she doesn't!"

"It could be valuable to our survival on this ridiculous island." James argued. "And I won't just sit around while everyone with 'powers' gets to fight."

Chris wasn't paying attention to the logic in James' words. No matter how much I didn't want to have to do this, I really knew that it could help. James had the potential to be very powerful as a wolf. He was strong now. I wasn't strong when I was infected, and I am pretty strong now.

"Stop fighting." I told the two guys. "I have to do it. I'll do it."

Everyone was a little shocked. I hoped at least someone would understand our point of view. We needed all the power on our side that we could get.

"Anyone else?" James offered. I wondered if he was offering for me to turn more than just him, or if he was offering it up to anyone else to argue.

I watched the group. Chris still looked mad. I hoped he wouldn't do anything stupid.

~Comet~

I walked into the camp, already frusterated by what Star had seen and heard. Fighting at this point would be disasterous.

"James." Everyone looked at Comet, most were shocked and some, like Chris and the silently fumming Star, "You don't know what it's like."

"I said I don't want to sit around while you--"

"Shut up, idiot." No one looked surprised at my non-existant social skills, "Do you know what it's like to be an animal?"

"Not yet."

"Sometimes..." I broke off, suppressing memories, "...you can help but do things you'll regret. Instincts that you can't understand compel such unhuman activities that you feel like a monster."

No time for adding fluff to something; this kid is going to ruin his life

You should act like a caring person more...it does good things for you.

This isn't caring; this is desperation.

"And, James, I'm pretty sure a human like you won't be able to control these new...feelings.... Fear does things to animals and wolves fear humans. I'm pretty sure Alexis can tell you that."

"Yeah..." I agreed. I had figured James wouldn't listen either way so I didn't go into the details. "James you don't know how many people I hurt, people I...killed."

James

With everyone going on about how much it would suck I couldn't think straight. I didn't want to give up my position, what could I say I'm persistant. "But none of you were willing. I'll be willing."

"Just shut up James." Comet said. "We're not letting you. And if you try to make Alexis I'll personally be waiting to stop you, and I'm sure I'll have some backup." He glanced to Chris and Star.

I sighed. I didn't really want to go up against Comet again, let alone when he had help from his sister and Chris.Though I knew I could take Chris, I also knew that while I was still human Comet and Star could take me.

"Fine." I grumbled. I wasn't necesarilly giving up yet, but going on about it wasn't going to help now.

Finally James has finally stopped talking about being a were wolf though i suspect that he was still thinking about it.

My stomach grumbled for a moment and i wondered if any of them are hungry as i am. i whispered to Lindy to check the food storage.

Lindy

Iniyuki asked me to checked the food storage. I nodded and i checked the storage beside me. I was happy that there was enough food here and she nodded approvingly.

she stood up and said, "IS anybody hungry here? there is enough food here for all of you. A full stomach alwasy make the mind think better..."

**I've actually got not idea of what to post at all right now. Could someone help me out? Talk to Luis or something? Otherwise I'll just have to have him sitting there brooding for a bit.**

*Sure*

Kate

I ignored the arguement they were having, it's not like I had any valuable information to pass on, I wasn't part animal after all. I walked over to Luis, because he was the one who told us about those dragons. Even though, I wasn't sure if he would really talk to me...it was a wirth a shot.

"Hey Luis." He looked over at me. "So what do you know about those dragons we'll be fighting? I mean are we completely hopeless or what?" I said sort of nervously.

Chris:

I couldn't believe James would even consider doing this to Alexis. How could he even think so. I wanted to break his jaw for even thinking it. I probably could, but it might upset Alexis, and we needed all the people we could get.
I walked up to Alexis, while Lindy was serving food:
"So, do you want me to break his jaw for you or what?" I asked jokingly
She smiled and said:
"Thanks but... I think I can manage, if I needed to, what with me being a wolf and all."

**Thanks**

Luis

"Hey Luis."

He glanced up to see Kate standing in front of him, looking somewhat nervous, Probably the whole thing with the dragons...they're not good in anyone's books. I'm not sure how long we'll be able to survive on this place, if what Camille said is true and we're going to have to go up against nastier stuff than Amamori.

"So what do you know about those dragons we'll be fighting. I mean are we completely hopeless or what?"

He shrugged, "Amamori's the only real threat on the island at the moment. Miss Midori can deal with her pets, there's nothing really special about them. I just don't know about Amamori, what she can do, that is." We can take her. I'm just worried about her relatives who could fly in when the barrier starts wobbling.

"We'll be fine, though." He said, smiling. He didn't want to panic anyone, least of all her, "There are more of us than there are of her." The smile didn't quite reach his eyes, and if she was looking closely enough, she'd be able to see that he thought they were all screwed despite his assertions. Luis did not fear death, since technically, he couldn't die. But he didn't want to be the one to have to dust himself off after being killed and then cart the souls of Kate and the others off this island.

He couldn't stop a shiver running up his spine at the thought, and he was almost sure now that she knew he was lying. He'd never been great at it, especially when he didn't want to lie. But what choice did he have? If he told them everything Camille had told him, he didn't know what would happen. Luis had to try to make sure everyone felt like they could live through this - it was the only chance they had, as far as he could see.

Chris was sweet for offering to beat up James for me, but I had a feeling James could take him. James just gave off that tough guy vibe, and Chris frankly, did not.

"I think I can handle it." I assured him with a smile. Besides, James had just agreed to drop it for a while. And I hoped I was in enough control of myself that if he tried to follow me anywhere when I transformed I could avoid infecting him.

Chris nodded but he didn't seem any better.

"Thank you for offering though." I said as I hugged him tightly. His anger seemed to disappear instantly, which is what I had been going for. I didn't know what we were going to do about Mori and her pets but I did know that we all needed to stick together, be a team.

Maeve

I had been pretty quiet for most of the discussion. I had been deep in thought about the possibility of dragons.

My father had always been interested in other magical creatures, dragons included. He had an endless supply of knowledge on the topic. I tried to concentrate on what he had told me about dragons, but it was no use.

I wished I could see him, or at least talk to him.

Maybe I just need more information to jog my memory. I need to talk to Luis.

"Hey Luis." I called as I walked to him. He was talking to Kate only a few feet away from the center of camp.
