Mikael-Ares

"Hey Shannon" i smirked and stuck my tongue out at mini-zeus "looks like you got owned." I smiled and punched him as i stood up launching him into the air. "Well now thats over" i laughed and looked at Shannon. "When this is over you wanna grab a bite to eat?" i asked trying to sound as nonchalant as possible and failing. "Um maybe i guess um" she blushed and for the first time ever i felt real bone numbing fear. I feel so sorry for mortal guys, i thought, i hate being a teenager. "Well anyway come on we've got a flag to take" i smiled and ran off into the forest.

Leona/Demeter

Gwen heard somebody crashing through the forest. She opened her mouth to call for help, but I quickly snaked a thorny vine up to her perfectly smooth cheek.

"Stay quiet too, dear." I said coldly. "Then we're both happy."

*Skull - What? Is this payback for me making you helpless? tsk tsk romance already. Oh well, and oh yeah, it says on the first page that Ares is not on good terms with Athena. Then again, I think it makes it more interesting*

Shannon - Athena

I was stunned. Mikael is a pretty cool guy (did I just say that?). Strong and I even saw him carrying a book! Geeky is a plus. I've never been around him much so I can't say anything else. The only thing that I don't like is that he wears black all the time; yellow is such a better color. Oh yeah, did I mention he's Ares son? Yeah...Mom was never in good terms with Ares...but

"Hey, Mikael!" I yelled, before he ran to far into the forest. He spun around and smiled at me.
"Yeah?"
"I'll think about it, ok?" I said, looking down at my feet, thinking about what mom would say. It couldn't hurt right?
"Ok." He said. His face brightened a little and then dropped. Then he started running again into the forest, ready to get the flag. Perfect. "Get the flag, Mikael" I whispered.

I watched him go; blonde hair waving. When he disappeared, my head finally went back to the game. Strategy is key. Strategy is key.

Alright, some people have it completely wrong. It's getting to be annoying.

** GUYS! This game has gotten TOO confusing - Athena and Ares are the heads of TWO SEPARATE TEAMS... Let's try to get through Capture the Flag without totally destroying the storybook, shall we? Try to make it clearer which team you are on in your posts - Instead of just having your name and god, perhaps put the team too?

Keira - Hades - Athena's Team

Keira snuck through the woods. The Ares team was busy fending off quite a few kids on Keira's team. Keira snuck forward as far as she could without breaking her cover. The forest stopped, opening into a clearing where the Ares's flag stood. Keira took a deep breath, then pelted out of the bushes towards the flag.

Keira dashed forward, darting away from the onslaught of Ares's team members. Their blows missed Keira by millimeters, but Keira kept forward. She approached the flag. An Ares's team member rushed forward to her. Keira rolled away, jumped up, and grabbed the flag.

Without wasting any time, Keira ran back towards the cover of the woods. Attacks were now centered on her, and Keira knew it was only a matter of time before one of them made their mark. She looked around wildly for someone to pass the flag to.

**Okay - Sorry if I sounded frustrated, but I am... Let's try to be more organized...

**All right, I think I've got things sorted out now. My posts will make sense from now on**

Caleb

He could see Athena’s daughter Shannon creeping through the forest with an intent look on her face. Ah. Little miss ‘Strategy is Key’. He thought to himself.

He stepped from behind a tree, bow drawn and aimed in her direction. The points had been capped so they couldn’t kill anyone or hurt them too badly, but in compensation, they’d been covered in a contact poison that rendered about five minutes of paralysis.

“Isn’t teamwork a big part of strategy, Shannon?” He asked, over competitive as always, and underestimating his opponent, “Where are your team mates?”

I got up quickly and ran after the ares punk. I caught him easily. He was looking around helplessly for the flag. Then i attacked. I stuck with a blast of lightning with as much power as i could. No one beat a big three, epically not a bone head Ares. then after that i kicked him, right in his face, then swiped him. He feel, he was groaning in pain, then i smashed my foot into his face 7 more times and kicked him in the groan twice. He was down that was for sure, but i still went for more. I blasted him with all the electricity i could hold. Then i slashed at his leg so even if he did wake up he would not be able to walk. I smiled, this idiot left think i was down, when i was faking while i was slowly bring down thin threads of lightning to charge myself. Then suddenly i looked back to she the Athena girl, Shannon attack. I charged her with as much as i could and watched her fold. Then suddenly i felt my power rush in, i was ready for anything or anyone.

Due recent confusion, I would like this game to end ASAP. I would prefer if my storybook would not die out like this, so just fine a short way of ending it in whoever's favor you'd like.

then i heard it. i looked up and saw Chelsea runi9ng to the border with the flag, chased by some ares. She was running fast but they were closing in. I saw fire erupt behind them and Keira behind them shooting fire, then i aided her with some lightning. That slowed them down enough for Chelsea to escape and then the horn blew. Athena won, we won, hurray.

Lizzie - Athena

"Yes!" I yelled as I started running towards Chelsea. "Yes!"

"We won!" yelled everyone on our team.

"Okay, now down to the pavillion!" Chiron called out to everyone.

Thank you. *Sigh of relief*

Chelsea~Poseidon

That was the first time in at least 5 years that we had triumphed over Ares. The happiness was evident in the air we breathed, the ground we walked on, and the overall aura. Even Ares was thanking us for a more interesting game.

I dozed off in my cabin, it was about 9;00 at night and everyone was winding down.

I was jolted awake by a deep growl from in the forest. The low sound echoed into the night.

The next day, blood soaked every leaf in the forest and it was splattered across the ground.

Chiron confirmed out worst fears. Someone had summoned a monster into the camp.

RYAN-ZUES~~

i looked over to the Ares leader as we gathered in Chiron's office. He was mad, he eye was still black from when i stomped on it but i ignored his gaze and focused on Chiron. He was telling us that someone had summoned a monster and it wasn't just a hell hound. He would know there had been a hell hound living here for some time and even that large beast couldn't do that. It was obvious there would be a quest but who and how many would be sent. I looked around, there were 10 of us, i guessed i had a large shot of going being a big three, and the same went for the other two of the three. But which of us and the other people was what i wanted to know.

*So sorry guys. I guess I fueled some of the confusion...forgive me. I didn't mean to make yall frustrated. Cool post, Forever! Oh yeah, aren't Shannon and Lizzie sisters?*

Shannon - Athena

I was elated. The sun seemed to shine a million times brighter and the air seemed clearer that night. Triumph was mine. I sucessfully defended my flag. Perfect. Who said strategy wasn't key? Try to laugh at me now.
Soon, I was back in my cabin with Lizzie. We gave each other a high five and congratulated each other. We laughed about our day's activities and how good we were. We totally forgot about our little brawl earlier. As time went by, we settled down into our beds and went to sleep. We were tired after all. And we had happy dreams about happy victory.

But all of our happiness depleted the next morning. Our camp was destroyed. Lizzie and Chelsea started saying something about monsters. I had barely any idea what they were talking about and I felt more of the "new girl" than ever. I was scared. Blood was everywhere and some of the camp buildings were destroyed. Chiron's voice was like a knife scraping at my darkest fear. He said that someone summoned a monster into the camp. I didn't understand. For once in my life, I didn't understand. He started talking about this quest....

"I must ask each and every one of you to take on a challenge. I know you haven't had much training yet but this is very important." Chiron's voice bellowed.

*I might use this opportunity to kill off Leona. This thing is just way too complicated.*
