As if I need another Storybook to juggle.

This is a tribute to Rick Riordan's series. If you have read them, great, let me lay down some basics for those who haven't (but should. they are so good.)

Things You Should Know~
• The stories revolve around a main concept being, the Greek Gods are still siring children with mortals. The children are called demigods and they have inherited some of their parent's powers.

• Greek Monsters such as the Hydra and the Minotaur don't like them and will hunt them down and kill them.

• The demigod's only sanctuary is called camp half blood. A year round camp for some, a summer camp for others. It depends on how powerful they are. Power attracts monsters.

• You are in New York because America bears the "Western Flame"
a. Mount Olympus is on the top floor of the Empire State Building
b. the Underworld is in some old movie place.

• Quests are laid down by Dionysus, the God of Wine and the Head of the Camp or Chiron the Centaur who is the activities director for the camp.

• Main point of the camp = train these demigods to fight.

List of Gods, Their Powers and How They Will Be Inherited By the Demigod~

[s]ZEUS: God of the Sky. The Demigod will be able to bend air and control electricity and lightning.[/s]

[s]POSEIDON: God of the Sea. The Demigod will be able to control water, speak to horses and navigate the ocean well.[/s]

[s]HADES: God of the Underworld. The Demigod will be able to Raise the Dead and speak to them as well as conjure up Hellfire.[/s]

[s]APOLLO: God of Archery and the Sun. Known to be perfect. The Demigod will be able to excel in archery as well as most everything else.[/s]

[s]ATHENA: Goddess of Wisdom, and War. Not in good terms with Poseidon. Demigod will be able to plan very well and the Demigod will be very smart.[/s]

ARES: God of War. Not in good tems with Athena. Demigod will be very strong and be able to use weapons well.

[s]DEMETER: Goddess of the Harvest. Demigod will be able to grow plants.[/s]

[s]APHRODITE: Goddess of love and beauty. Generally vain. Demigod will excel in cosmetics and be very beautiful.[/s]

DIONYSUS: God of wine and sanity. Demigod will be able to control grapevines and drive people insane.

[s]HERMES: Messenger God and Jack of all trades master of none. Demigod can do a variety of things.[/s]

Yes, you have noticed I have left some gods out. That is because they have chosen not to sire children. Artemis has sworn virginity and for Hera to sire children would be unethical.

You may only have one character.

You are placed in Cabins according to who your parent is. You have half brothers and sisters.

Once I have 10 people we may begin.

Name: Chelsea Stensegard

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance: Small light build, short blond hair, violet eyes, and a somewhat imposing stance.

God: Poseidon

Personality: Changeable. She can have a short temper, she's bold and tough, and daring.

Other Skills: (Must link somehow to you God) She breath underwater and talk to any sea creature.

Fatal Flaw: (Do I need to tell you that you have to have one?) She cares too much about the people she bonds with. She'd risk her life for them.

Other: Up for love.

Weapon: A longsword disguised as a sharpie (when you lift the cap it turns into the sword) and a shield that is disguised as a bracelet. (You rub it, presto it becomes a shield.)

Appearance: bleach blond hair, electric blue eyes, muscular with a slight look of missive

God: Zues

Personality: is hot head, thinks he is the best cause of his dad being the king. But when you get to know him you can see another side of him, past his prankster and king side.

Other Skills: can commune with the flying animals, and can float in the air slightly when needed

Fatal Flaw: sometimes does not know when to be serious or he tries to do every thing himself

Other: Up for love

Weapon- he has two twin blades that when needed help bring electricity down to the earth. they are usually kept in disguise as beads on his camp half blood necklace.

Name: Gwenivive (Gwen) Anderson

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: about 5'7, long brown hair, hazel eyes, very curvy

God: Aphrodite

Personality: vain, she constantly looks at herself in the mirror. she loves to flirt (i'm going totally with the Aphrodite theme)

Other Skills: she can help people fall in love

Fatal Flaw: she hates having to look pretty all the time, she wishes she could be normal (if there is such a thing as normal)

Other: Up for love.

Weapon: uh?? A jeweled bobby pin that changes into a bow and arrow?

That's fine. Although, make it fit the bow and arrow concept more. They could be disguised as a pin or a hair pin or something like that.

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Black hair, bluish grey eyes. Tall about 6'1

God: Hermes

Personality: Funny, and must be stimulated gets bored easily.

Other Skills: Photographic memory so he can deliver messages perfectly. Moves super fast.

Fatal Flaw: Doesn't have patience to access a situation, may run headlong into it.

Weapon- Golden mini staff with a wing on the end. Produces a dust that allows him and others to fly.

Other: Up for love.

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: Long legs, normal height. Long, beautiful, curly, blonde hair. Stormy gray eyes.

God: Athena

Personality: She's a devoted friend, and she is really smart. Sometimes she can act like a know it all.

Other Skills:She can develop plans and stragedies fast and she is a very skilled warrior.

Fatal Flaw: Sometimes, her over-confidence will hurt others and a whole mission. When she is wrong, she will be in a depressing state for about a week.

Other: Up for love.

Weapon: Her mom gave her a flashdrive for her computer that can become a sword or a dagger, whatever you want at the time. Her mom also gave her a Mets baseball hat that can turn her invisible.

Name: Shannon Willing
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: Not the prettiest girl on the planet, though her hair is always neatly done, complete with yellow hairpin. Her favorite color. She has freckles and wears contacts. She is very tall and slim. Her hands are usually stretched across her chest, carrying books.
God: Athena
Personality: Very smart, a know it all, and can be a little oblivious to others feelings. Is a born leader and is in love with organization (read: neat freak) Doesn't really like to kill others but loves to strategize "war" tactics. She'll leave the actual killing to everyone else.
Other skills: She always does the most logical thing possible. Is very calm during high stress periods and knows nearly everything.
Fatal flaw: Wants to be best at everything and withdraws when she makes a mistake and can even become a tad suicidal. She also can be a hothead when it comes to control.
Other: Doesn't really like being a demigod and hates to fight others with her fists, she'd much rather fight others with her mind. Up for love.
Weapon: Her prized possesion, her pen, has a small container of "acid" inside. She also has a sword that is hidden in her yellow coat and knows how to use it (despite her hate to do so)

You've Got to be kidding me. Athena has been taken. Twice! Although, she's one of the virgins so maybe she shouldn't be there? Just playing devil's advocate.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Dark brown hair with green eyes, a little more curvy but not as much as Aphrodite. About 5'5"

God: Demeter

Personality: Isn't shy, but doesn't go out of the way to meet people. She's very calm, but when angered has a temper that's stronger then anything. The ways to anger her are to hurt her friends, or hurt her plants.

Other Skills: She can grow plants at lightning speed, but the faster she grows them the more energy it takes. She can also talk to plants and use their root system to find people in the forest.

Fatal Flaw: She can destroy everything alive if angered (minor case is plants, worst case is animals as well). She will bring on winter, or something close, if that happens.

Other: Up for love

Weapon: A bandanna she wears either around her neck over her hair. When she flicks it, it'll send out throwing knives. Thorny ones, of course.

Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: Very beautiful though she doesn't see herself that way. Long blonde hair always put up in a ponytail, tall and slim, almost frail like, pale, freckles. Dresses casually.
God: Demeter
Personality: Painfully shy, and quiet. Spends most of her time alone in the gardens and is prone to daydreaming and being late for training practice. She absolutely despises practice because it means opening up in front of everyone and actually fighting. How horrible. For all who truly know her, Shannon is extremely loyal and a great listener. She identifies with people in pain and wants to help them. Though, she doesn't know how.
Other skills: Of course, Shannon has the greenest thumb on the planet. She can move nature (trees and such). She can also sense when the weather is going to change (a storm is coming..)
Fatal flaw: Shyness and self doubt. She doesn't believe in herself all the time and thinks she is ugly. When the time is right, she doesn't strike, usually putting her friends in danger (a storm is coming though she doesn't say anything stuff like that)
Other: Up for love. Needs someone to tell her that she is special, smart etc and to spend time with other people.
Weapon: Can move trees and earth with her mind (can I do that?) on her enemies. Basically see other skills.

Name: Keira Sanders

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Personality: As a child, she was labeled as 'odd', and almost completely rejected. This caused her to draw away from humans and delve farther into the world of the dead. She's quiet and shy when you first meet her, after her trust is gained she is still less talkative than most people. Anger her, and you have, quite literally, Hades to deal with. Both god and place. She's an excellent fib when she coses to be.

Other Skills: Keira has control over the earth elements (i.e. gold, copper, any type of metal...)and can extract them from the earth to bend them to her will.

Fatal Flaw: She tends to judge harshly and if something doesn't go her way, she has a temper.

Other: Up for love

Weapon: She has a black opal ring ( If you want to look at it - http://www.allaboutopals.org/uploaded_images/black-opal-ring-708686.jpg) that she can twist counter-clockwise to make herself turn invisible. Turning clockwise will make her visible again.

Oh my...

We've got two Demeters. Hmm.

Ah, and Athena does have a story behind how she sires her children. You know how she was born from a crack in Zeus's head? Well when she finds someone she really likes she creates a kid. Sort of like a thought. Complicated I know.

I am debating whether or not to change my character. The remaining two look interesting....
