"So..." Kelly said nodding her head awkwardly, "I guess this is good bye."

"No it isn't," I told her with a slight laugh in the words.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean miss. Brain, that we will be seeing each other at school. Remember, I go to Harvard, your going to Harvard, or did the brain forget?"

"Oh yeah, I did," she said with a blush.

"Well then, this is not good bye. Just see ya. Same goes for Raven, sense I said I would get her a job and all with my dad, I Might be seeing her when I take a look at the places, I'm supposed to take over when I graduate."

you're killing Ballow? And I'm warning you: For the final fight, my post will probably be very long. Will edit this post later when I find something to post about.

-Raven-

I hugged Maribelle. Seriously, I hugged. Things had changed. The shadows were gone. And I was truly happy for the first time in my life.

"Maybe some day we can meet for a music get together," she said smiling. "I mean really, Raven, you are my friend."

I nodded. "That'd be great. Hey, wanna celebrate tonight before we go our separate ways? There's a night club down the street that's supposed to be one of the best in New York."

"Sure!" she replied and headed off to hug someone else goodbye.

I smiled and looked at everyone. Kelly, I'd have to apologize and see if she'd still be my friend. Mari, we'd SO have to keep in touch. Gary seriously owed me a job. Ballow was... well, Ballow. I didn't particularily care about him. Damien was saying goodbye to Maribelle, who had finally finished hugging everyone else. Julie was chatting with Joseph, who looked ready to barf. The twins... Spencer... why couldn't he just die so I wouldn't have to try to hate him? And suffer his hate? He should just die. I never wanted friends. I never asked for them.

My smile would've been gone if it weren't for the joy of no shadows.

What would we do now?

I'm thinking of killing Kelly and Raven off soon. Maybe in the final fight.

I looked over at everyone.
Would I ever see them again?
What if something happened to one of them...no.

I shooke the scary thought out of my head.
Would I ever see these people again though?

So after all we've been through...I guess this is how it was going to end.
I got emotions from everyone...
Mari was nervous and sad at the same time.
Raven was a bit depressed.
Mari was quiet.
Gary was happy\sad.
Ballow was neutral.
And Joseph was...dark.
I shot him a look and I could see from his face that he was hiding something.
Something big.
He looked at me, "What?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"Joseph, an advice in life would be, think before you do something. Especially if you think it's bad, cause later on it'll hurt you in life." I said then walked off to Mari.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." she said.
Then I gave her a big hug and felt the tears return.
"I'm going to miss you."

Ugh. All the mindreaders here are starting to annoy me. Joseph thought. Even Julie.

That guy had had an effect on Joseph. What he said had just made so much sense... it hit so close to home... it was so tempting... Joseph shook his head. He couldn't willingly Turn. Not when he, the world class computer nerd, had made friends. He just couldn't betray them like that.

But he wanted to. He wanted what Smithal had to offer.

Why did life have to be so complicated?

Darn forgot that.

And no I didn't. Today I had conformation, against my will, along with most of my grade and almost everyone in my grade was out of school, and so no one was there to prank.

Most left early, or never came to school, but my mom made me stay the whole day.

Ahahhahaaa well I was supposed to pretend to pass out and so in the middle of math I randomly get up and fall onto the floor and my friend's like "Omg are you okay?" and then she starts laughing(she's knows it's a prank) && i'm like "nice job! you were'n't supposed to laugh."

Ahahhaaa we had a sub in L.A. and so my friend like pretends to get hurt and everyone's like omg and the sub is freaking out.
aaaaahhhhhhaaaa i was like laughing and everyone was like why is she laughing if her friend got hurt?

Wait no I did prank someone today, forgot, JD's post reminded me of y prank, because I did that.

In Math class, after I had finished my work, I was reading, and then suddenly I just fell out of my chair. Then the kids were all like out of their minds, and I jumped up and went, Gotcha.

Then in Social studies, we had a sub to, and everyone took a different name. Sadly I got stuck with Victoria.

I said I was pregnant man I got so many calls saying OMG YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING
and i was like well i amm...APRIL FOOLS : D

The best part about the shadows disappearing was no more chanting inside my mind. I smiled and got a sudden hug from Julie.

"I'm going to miss you." She said attempting at holding back her tears. I hugged her back and sighed. i owed her an apology so i just came out and said it.

"I'm sorry about the way I acted in the alley." I said hoping she'd forgive me.

"It's okay everyone had their issues, especially with the shadows." She said shrugging.

So I was going out to celebrate with Raven tonight, it'd be the last time we'd all be together. I let out another sigh and felt everyones emotion pushing at me. I didn't pay much attention to other people's thoughts as much as my own.

What will i do after this? Where will i go? I have nobody...no one.

I scanned the room again.

"I think we should do a little pary...hang out a few more days...before going our own ways." announced Ballow.

"Good idea." said Kelly.

"So...what are we gonna do?" asked Gary.

"Beach I guess." Said Ballow.

"But first let's get some sleep." said Raven, who looked exhausted.

We all laughed in agreement.

When we reached Ballow's jet(or home whatever) we all crashed onto our beds.

Tommrow would be fun...I hoped.

*3:27 AM, when everyone is fast asleep. Raven and Mari had just gotten back to... wherever everyone is snoozing from the club*



Joseph walked up the steps leading to the french doors. He pushed them open, their hinges creaking in the night. An urge like no other he had felt before drove Joseph on, taking over his movments, posessing him. He walked down a hall filled with cobwebs, the air musky like this-closet-hasn't-been-opened-in-fifty-years. A nervous sweat covered his brow. Was this the right choice? Was this what he had been born for?

He entered a library, it's walls covered in books from the floor to the ceiling. A fire had been lit ing the huge fireplace, casting natural shadows everywhere. A man in an armchair looked up from the book he had been reading and said,

"Back so soon? You are quick to decide. Will you kill me, as I'm unarmed for now, or join me?"

Joseph paused, not breathing, not blinking. This was it. Why had he come so soon?

Because I know exactly what I want to do, a voice inside him said.

"You drive a hard bargain, Smithal. I'm in."
