Gary~~

"CANN OPENER" I shouted as I dove into the pool. A huge wave was sent out hitting Julie and JOseph hard. Laughing I swam around the pool. The party was starting to die so i got up. not even using the ladder or ledge I stood up standing on the water. All eyes saw me do this and stared in awe.

"cool huh. Discovered it a while back when I crashed. But this is beside the point, time for a new party. To the game room. Then running on water I jumped out and sent a shock wave that got everyone on their feet. "C'mon." I said as I ran to the house, then with a few turns I came to the huge game room. Lined with classic arcade game to wiis to virtual reality. It had any kind of game you want. Soon the others came lead by Ballow. They stood and stared for a bit then they each walked over to a game to play.

Ugh! The idiot Gary had to ruin everything didn't he?!

I found Gary alone to have a serious talk with him.

"What is your problem?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he sneered.

"You know what I mean!" I hissed.

"I was trying to see if Joesph was okay and you...ugh!" I said.

"What?! Just trying to have a little fun." He said grinning.

"Ugh. I hate you so much!" I shouted then stomped off.

Emphasis on how much she hates Gary. ;]

Gary~~

"Wow." Was all I could say. "All that over getting you a bit wet. You got some problems." I told her as she stomped off. But I dropped it. Who cares. I looked around to see Joesph playing a game and walked over.

"what you playing." I asked sitting in one of the game chairs.

"Halo 3." He said.

"Sweet, start up a new game I'm playing." I said grabbing a control. He started a new game then we started battle.

"take this." I said and launched a rocket at him. "First point to me."

"Yeah but the next is mine." He said shooting me with a few lasers.

"Your good." I said. "but I'm better."

"yeah right."

A that moment I could feel Julie giving me the evil eye. Shesh she got that mad over a splash.

Why do you have to have Jule hate both my characters?

While everyone went to the game room I went to roam around.

I was wandering around the house, it was huge. Bigger than any house I'd ever seen, but the one thing that caught my eye was the music room. I looked around and than i saw the recording room. The room was amazing, it was a pure white with golden records on the wall, there were also many abstract paintings.

I went into the recording place and sat on the chair in front of the microphone.

My happy ending should have been you
but, you turned away and left my heart blue.
There's no way I could have seen what was there
Yet, here i am wishing I wasn't blind to the truth.
you tore my heart
just threw it away
How can my soul accept you again

I sang letting the melody carry me somewhere away from the reality of what was going on.

I'm starting a LotR storybook. Stop me now if it's been done before or if it would be TOTALLY unpopular.

Yeah, I was into video games. But, I desperatly wanted to be alone.

I headed back to my room. Why? That's like asking a fish why it swims. I wanted to be alone, and half-way safe. Your room is your comfort zone, no matter where you are or where the ROOM is.

After about five minutes I was in the right hall.

A soft voice came from behind one of the doors. Curiosity took over and I silently peeked inside. It was a frikin' recording room.

Mari was singing into a microphone. I knew I shouldn't think anything. Yet. I went in and picked up a really nice guitar. My fingers flowed over the familiar strings, and a felling of safety filled me. I played the same tune that she was singing. It had been so long since I had played the guitar...

She turned her head to me, startled. I let a wry grin spread across my face (wry was the only kind I ever allowed, and even THAT was rare) as I said,

"Dang you're a good singer."

"And, you can rock a guitar." I said surprised someone had found me.

"It's been so long since i played...it actually feels really nice to be playing." She said, looking over the guitar. I examined the recording room, i officially made it my favorite room in my mind. I edged the way to get to this room into my brain never wanting it to leave.

"Same for my singing, unless you count occasional humming." I laughed. I was shocked she liked my singing, nobody had ever commented on it before. Then again, I never really sang in front of people which was because of my shyness.

Raven began playing a tune that i recognized on the first note. It was a lullaby my mother always hummed to get me to go to sleep.

"How do you know that song?" I asked, listening closely.

"Oh it's just an old favorite of mine...you know it too?" She explained.

"My mom used to sing it to me when i was little, but the lyrics...I've forgotten them." I sighed, getting up to look through the many music books.

"Small world." She said bluntly.

"Indeed." I agreed, trying to find something to sing.

I plucked the strings to the first tune I ever learned, all thanks to Ms. Jaston, my first real mother...

Dream, little baby,
Close your eyes.
Dream little baby,
Hush your cries.

Shush, little baby,
Mommy's here,
Shush, little baby,
There's no need to fear.

Dream, little baby,
Close your eyes.
Dream, little baby,
Hush your cries.

I remembered the words, even if Mari didn't. I wondered if she heard my thoughts as she took a book from the shelf of lyric books and flipped through the pages.

I am NOT going to let this story die. This is majorly slowing down. SO,

LaReina, we need some Spencer to Cadence action. Actually, we don't really need it, but I want to know what happens!

Okay, we'll go to next day, and then we'll get some action. Oh, you'll see... ;)

-NO ONE IN PARTICUALR-

Everyone played various video games for a couple of hours, until their eyes felt like they were on fire. Then they all had a dinner of spaghetti a meatballs, only they were really gormet. Then a dessert of orange sherbet. Once they were done, everyone headed to their rooms, and to each others rooms, to hang out until they were tired.

"I'm bored." I stated looking at Kelly, my roomate.

She looked at me giving me a tired smile.

"I'm sorry. I'm probably bugging you. Go to sleep." I said.

"No, it's fine." she said.

I frowned. "Okay what's wrong?" I said.

"Hm? Nothing," she said.

"I'm not stupid. Now spill." I said.

"It's...Raven." she said.

"Why? Is everything okay?" I said worried.

"No..don't worry. She's not hurt or anything...just I dunno how to explain." She said her brows scrunching in confusion.

"Hm?" I asked.

*Here I'm gonna kick start us into some action*

Gary~~

After video games I went to my room alone and went to bed so I would be able to wake up early for a swim the next day. But that's not what happened. Instead in my sleep I had a dream, a future dream.

It was horrible. I saw the house we were in, at night. The lights were burning bright through the windows, but the street was pitch black. I saw slowly the house begin to fade into nothing. then a fire sprouted. It engulfed the house and the shadows seemed to feed on it. They grew and latched on stronger, moved faster. Then I saw our group. huddled together in the living room. We were trapped.

that's when I shot awake. I charged out the door and then screamed. Immediately everyone came out to see what happened.

"We have to get out." I said with such seriousness and command they new I wasn't joking. They were about to ask why but I stopped them. "I had another future dream. The house is going to be attacked by the shadows and set on fire . We have to get out now. So follow me to the garage. Ballow I need you to get down there and power up the bus. I need you to also stockpile it with food and stuff like that."

"Got it." Ballow said and disappeared.

"Now follow me." I told the others. They followed me through the halls to the basement. There we piled into a a a silver and clue bus that Ballow had already filled the back 10 rows with food. He was in the drivers seat ready yo roll. We piled in and then sped forward and out of the garage into the shadows who were surrounding the house.

"I dunno," I said. Julie had agreed to be my roomie. I never liked to be alone, really. "I mean, we've been best friends for years, but now... she's acting... weird."

"Whaddya mean?" she asked, sitting on the edge of my bed beside me.

"Well, before all of this, she was... there. And now she's... not. I can't explain it... hey, do you wanna get some popcorn? Maybe a movie?" I asked, trying to cheer up.

"Sure," she replied, the look on her face still quizical. I got up to go somewhere and make some popcorn. Maybe a movie.
