* okay here let me explain
Gary- he is the guy who stole your car ( with the main party)
Ryan- he is a hitch hiker with amnesia, who the main party picked up ( with main party
Ballow- he is Gary's step brother, current;y with you*

I looked at her and then we hoped in my car. The book said it was in Manhattan ( sorry if that is wrong) so we sped there. It was only an hour away. Then when we got there we almost killed the guy we saw. The guy said he saw Gary, but he left with these girls Raven and Kelly and a few other people for Arizona. Great i thought, we were going to Arizona, but where in. So I questioned the guy some more and learned the town then had my dad fly my jet to the local air port. We got in to my jet, one of the fastest in the world and headed off for the place. But it would still take 4 hours then an hour drive because the town was far from that far from their closet air port.

Here. I'll pull in Gary/ Ryan whatever one decides to speak or whatever.

Spencer~

Spencer stormed out of Cadence's room and pushed past Gary and Ryan who were heading towards the girls' room. "Do you know where everyone is? Damien isn't saying anything..." Gary said.

Spencer shrugged. "Dunno."

"How's Cadence doing?"

"Fine, I guess." Spencer pushed open the door and slammed it closed, without bothering to talk any longer. Why in the world couldn't Cadence understand and go with him for once?!
- - -
Damien~

Damien had spent all night trying to help a ghost in need. This one was just a child, confused as ever. He had told her everything about death that he could. About how she'll never see her parents again.

She'd wept, but she accepted it. Like always he was tired. Dead tired. He didn't even want to blink because he was that tired. Damien had made himself comfortable on the couch where he'd been sleeping, his sketchbook in reach. He resisted. He let his eyes close and fell asleep.

The post about Damien is irrelevant, but I just felt like I was neglecting him.

*DANG! I’m neglecting my poor, poor Kelly and Joseph!

My favorite character (of mine) is Raven, so I don’t talk about the others as much. They need friends to talk to! They’re lonely… No, no, I’m not complaining!*

Kelly
------

“Can I get change for this dollar?”

The lady behind the counter did so, not lifting her eyes to mine, not saying a word. This felt weird, but I smiled, got a giant chocolate candy bar, and headed back upstairs.

I had read, after translating of some weird ancient text, that every two thousand years or so one person becomes able to take over human beings through darkness and evil. Random thought, I know.

I knocked on the door to our, or the girl’s, room. Cadence said “come in”. And that’s just what I did. She smiled. I smiled. I offered the candy bar. She declined. I offered to make broth or something. She declined. I offered a one-way to England. And she looked up, hopeful. Then I felt terrible for teasing, she noticed, and she burst into tears. I sat down on the bed beside her and put my arm around her shoulder, throwing the chocolate into her lap.

“What’s wrong?” she looked at the candy bar as I asked.

“Nothing,” she sniffed

“Trust me, I have read every book on body language in the world— America, and you are depressed, upset, nervous, and-slash-or just plain sad. What’s wrong?”

She sighed.

That’s page 306 for “I’m going to tell you my sad story now, and I want you to comfort me afterwards, because I still feel bad about ______. Please don’t tell anyone once you know, because if someone knew, I would feel twice as bad for every person who knew.”

Yep, you can tell a lot from a mere lengthened exhale. So simple, yet so dramatic.

Raven
--------

Maribelle—Mari took my spot. And was winning the oldest game on the planet that was new enough to play. I thought about her question for a moment. And what she had just said. Everyone was stressing her out… yeah, I could see how being able to mind read in a time when everyone’s thinking about something or another (not like they didn’t before). So how was I? In comparison to her…

“I guess I’m kinda in the same situation,” I said as the bright red HIGHSCORE sign blinked on the screen. “I mean, since I tense up when shadows are near, and since they’re everywhere, it seems like I should be doing the robot and wearing sweaters all the time.”

“I though you could only tell when they’re NEAR?” she asked as I shoved her aside and put in two more quarters.

“No. I can sense them all the time, but when they’re really, really close it’s visible. So much about me, what’s it like being able to read thoughts and emotions?”

Maribelle

I looked at Raven's back as she focused on the game, I thought about how i should answer her question.

It's not like it's the best thing ever, even as a kid I knew people didn't like me. "Freak.", "Loser.", "Eww it's that weird girl?" All floated in my head as i remembered what other children thought of me. I always knew i was different but, when i told my close friends they turned away and joined the other kids. I thought bringing myself back to reality.

"Well it is a burden at times, you always know what people think about you...trust me. Sometimes it's better to not know, it killed me as a little girl. I remember always trying to see if any boys liked me, and my heart breaking when they didn't. But, when i got into higher grades none of those brats got to me. I'm proud of my power but, there are points in my life when i wish i didn't have it." I explained, thoughts flowing easily in and out of my head.

Raven was almost finished beating the boss, she definitely rocked at this game. Finally she shot one last alien and a big, flashing gold, "WINNER!!!" came on the screen.

"Woah, you beat it! Nice match!" I cheered as I waited for her to respond.

Raven leaned against the game machine trying to think of what to say. Her emotion was puzzled, she probably thought mind reading would be much more fun. But, then again maybe she agrees.

Who knows, people's emotions change so fast it's hard to tell if they are happy or sad. But, I guess it is for me...I wonder what i would do if i didn't have my powers. I thought about it for a moment then shrugged it off, and looked at Raven.

GRR i feel like I'm god-modding!
I swear I tried not to in the end xD
I would just like to get to know more about Raven so i don't get her replies wrong.

Damien~

Damien barely acknowledged the fact that Spencer through open the window. The ground tumbled breifly, and he jumped on a platform he'd made. Then he disappeared. Gary was banging his fist on the door. "You okay?" He asked but got no reply. "Spencer, answer me already!" Damien didn't say anything, and Spencer was already gone. "Come on Spence talk to me i want to help you out."

Damien finally got up and opened the door. He nodded his head to the open window. "What's up with him...?" Gary trailed off. Damien shrugged. "Cadence," Was all Damien said before dragging himself back to the couch.

Here's another Damien part. 'Tis all.

I won't be able to post until mid-sunday, maybe even Monday.

LaReina how did you do in your soccer tryouts?!
-------------------------------------------------------
I rested my head on the seat and sighed.
"Wow." I muttered.
"What?" said Ballow.
"You're stinkin rich." I said.
He shrugged.
"So what exactly is the plan? I mean when we find your brother. And who's Raven?" I asked.
"I have no clue. I'm still trying to get over the fact that he's actually alive." He said.
*wait what's ballow's powers again???*
"So...have you ever had any weird encounters with...the...darkness before?" I asked my voice hesiataing at darkness.
He looked at me.
"That was random." he said.
"Yeah. But I'm bored." I said.
"So have you?" I asked again.

* he can slow down time*

"Kind of" i said.
"what do you mean kind of" the girl asked.
"well i was never actually in the shadows but i saw my friend get taken by it" i said. " it was last week, i was at Gary's funeral, with my best friend, who was also close to Gary. So we were leaving the funeral to my house, we didn't drive though. It was a far way through the cemetery, and all the cars left before we got out then i happened. I dropped my phone like a goof and ran after it and when i came up i saw the shadows attacking him.I was about to run when the shadows grabbed me, it was not even for a second. Then it happened. My powers came to me, i looked around and saw the leafs in the trees move so slowly in the wind. i looked around and saw my friend, he was almost finished the shadows had began to tear out his heart. I knew i couldn't save him so i ran, i ran faster then ever. Well or at least others would think that." i then grabbed my water bottle and took a sip. "how about you"

I cringed at the thought of seeing my best friend getting attacked.
"My parents." I said my throat getting dry.
"It was about 2 years ago." I said.
"We were a happy little family. Then one day it happened. It was a beautiful day outside, and so my family and I decided to go on a walk. It was around 7:00. We started to head back home about an hour later, because it was getting dark. We decided to take a shortcut, and headed towards a little alley. Half way through, I felt something brush past me. Them I heard a scream, and saw my mother. She was surrounded by the darkness, and had blood coveriing her. My dad tried to save her...but died too. I just stood there though. I was too shocked to move....to do anything. Before the shadow could get me though, a few people cam rushing out of their houses, heraing the screams, so it ran away. I didn't talk, cry, do anything for the first week. Nothing. It was like I was dead. If someone asked my something I replied, but with no emotions. I did what I was told to do. My mom's best friend, who was like my sister, decided to take me in, because no one else would. They were too scared, thinking the shadows might kill them...because of me. That's my best friend Emilie's mom. Emilie's family is the only family I have. After they took me in, I was lifeless. I cried the first night at their house finally. I woke up screaming and sobbing drenched in tears. After the encounter with the shadows I realized I had powers, of being able to sense them." I said.
I closed my eyes, trying to get that horrible nights thought away from my head.

**Ahhh… it feels good to be posting here again. Sadly, I’ve grown attached to our characters, as I always do. ‘Tis my weakness. ;) **

Raven
--------

I watched a fly on the opposite wall of the game room. I knew we were going to be good friends; Mari was like me in quite a few ways now.

I never had to mind read to know what people thought of me. They just told me flat out how much they hated me. Wishing I didn’t have my powers? Sure. All the time. I act weird around potential friends family and boyfriends. Then I’m shunned for eternity by anyone who has their brain still. I agree. It’s a burden at times, others, a blessing.

“Did you catch that?”

She nodded.

I sighed.

I reached into my pocket and felt the familiar smoothness of ten dollars worth of quarters. I could have grabbed a handful and punched her in the nose, given her a black eye, hope she would forget everything, but I didn’t. For once, I didn’t feel ashamed of my existence. “Come on, that one has multi-player.”

Joseph
---------

Joseph threw his suitcase onto the blue bed and smiled. So many memories had been created here. And all of them good ones. He started to unload his shirts into the dresser when a strong scream echoed from down the hall. He dropped the dress shirt he had been folding and ran back down the hall to the living room. When he did reach the huge room his jaw dropped. The window were broken, the shadows of invisible people lined the walls and gradually came off the walls, and there, in the center of the room, lay his grandpa, his shirt soaked with blood. There was a rip in the fabric at the place of his heart, and hovering above the dead body, was the neighbor, looking like she had eaten to much – WAY too much – and seen a ghost. She was holding Joseph’s grandpa’s heart in her hand.

“What have you done to him?!” screamed Joseph, ready to pounce even though he knew that would only end his life.

The neighbor ignored him. The shadows, on the walls that had created form like ghosts, suddenly leapt at the man on the ground. They all flew into the gaping hole in the mans chest where a heart should be. As soon as they were all inside him the wound healed itself, and Joseph’s grandfather woke up. Joseph croaked out a “A-are you… okay, Gramps?” Joseph’s grandpa looked straight at Joseph, his eyes dark and empty. He was growing more and more like the neighbor in appearance. “Yes, Joseph. Please, join me. I am better than ever. Join us.”

And with that, Joseph ran out of the room, out of the house, out of the ranch, just away. A tear forced itself down his cheek. He brushed it away as he ran. He would NOT let that happen to him. Ever.

**Okay, okay, yes, it was a ton of action, but I really wanted some! And he’s just out in the middle of nowhere. He doesn’t really HAVE anyone to talk to. And how else was he going to meet up with the others?**

*Yes, Joseph is a new character. There's nothing really more for me to post, so someone will have to pull me in. And thanks for asking J.D (JustDance). We lost a bunch of girls this year. Only 7 from my team last year (Out of, like, 16) tried out. There were twelve girls in all. I think that's going to be our team... sadly. Too bad we lost so many people! Anyone else play soccer?*
