It is an unavoidable fact that you will get at least one teacher that makes you mad. Mine is my Journalism teacher. She gives each of us like 6 stories and expects them all done within the week. I was ahead of the curve managed to finish three of my stories. Our midterm was to finish one story and she wouldn't take the ones I already finished. So I was penalized for getting my work done early. So I got a C on the midterm even though I have more done then anyone else in the class.

So what teachers have darkened your days.

I had an English teacher that would sit there and have the dumb kids listen to an audio book , while the ones who already finished had to sit there and listen, I passed a note to my friend saying it was boring, he found out and said it would be more interesting, but that never happened. luckily, we only had him for the second half of the year, he was a replacement for the cooler teacher that left mid way through.

Mr. Harrison. Maths teacher. We drove him out... That's the only class I've ever been removed from, I said that a golden retriever could teach better than him. He said he wouldn't let me back in the class till I apologized. I didn't. He let me back in anyway. This shocked a lot of people, because I normally have a lot of respect for teachers, what people my age don't understand is that those teachers earnt that respect.
Sometimes you have to look beyond what you see, if that fails... Just listen to Cher.

Haha. Let me tell you of my various Information Management teachers.

The first lady was fine, if strict.
Her replacement, however, didn't teach us anything. He taught us how to make animations with GIF animator, and actually made us make them, even though a lot of us were anxious to do some real work. He would stand directly behind you and make strange noises in the back of his throat, too.

The next was even worse. When showing you something, he would put a hand either side of you and actually lean over you, meaning you had to duck or have him pressed into you. It was like 0.o.
He also liked touching your shoulder and ruffling your hair. It was plain creepy.

And then our current PE teacher and my dean is really weird. He's a sports fanatic. And he annoys everyone- he once had a go at me because I was writing in house class, because it wasn't school related. I had no work to do, for goodness' sake.
But the worst thing he's done is put a broom handle in between his legs, gallop around like a horse around the hall while we were having a house assembly where we were all sitting on the gym floor. Then he galloped straight up to me and asked "Want a ride? Hop on!"
I was rather traumatized.
I swear there's laws against that kind of thing.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Hmm, I have two.

Mr Knowles, who teachers maths. He teaches the grammar set and I have always been in the set just below, for maths is my nemesis. However, there was some error with the timetables this year and thus everyone who got a C or above in their maths GCSE was automatically risen into his set.
The thing about Mr K is that a think he has a chip on his shoulder. He's ugly, downright mad... nothing wrong with that, but I believe he must have been bullied really badly when he was younger, and that is why he tries so hard to fit in with the popular kids. He also has his favourite, whom he has taught since year seven.
As I said, I'm terrible at maths, and Mr K knows that full well. However, he has made a point, fairly frequently, of picking on me for the answers to the hardest questions, right in front of the class. If not embarrassed enough by not knowing and having to bleat out, "I don't know," Mr Knowles then proceeded to patronise me and make little comments.
He teaches my younger sister. He knew my name but since finding out we're related, he insists on addressing me with, "Tessa! Or whatever your name is."
Thankfully, I've recently been moved out of his class. However, when he was telling me he said it was "obvious" I had to go, and that he wanted to make it "a proper grammar set again."

The other is Mr Haines. He taught me at primary school in year six, and was not malicious or anything, but just one of those irritating happy-clappy Christians, who insisted on ending the day with a sing-song (us singing from the OHP and he strumming away on his acoustic guitar.) Most memorable was a song about a mouse on the stair wearing clogs.
He also taught us PE---enough to establish some resentment!

Recently he started teaching girls' PE at my comprehensive. He simply does not understand that it is perfectly reasonable to not partake in games. He seems to think all girls should be wielding hockey-sticks.

I like all my teachers now, but I had a couple of the worst teachers ever in middle school. One humiliated me into front of the whole class regularly and made fun of me. Another teacher I had was okay but she hardly ever taught, she just sat at her computer all day. Other than 2 or 3 more I've had pretty good teachers.

I used to have a teacher who taught me for three years in a row - in my fourth, fifth and sixth year of primary school. This, coincidentally (cough cough), was also the time period of my clinical depression.

Since it's permissable to cane students in Chinese schools, she would use every chance. And she was a hypocrite. She would tell us how extra tuition classes outside school were a waste of money, and send her children for them. Aaand! She piled homework on us. You know in primary school (at least, mine), how homework has to be handed in the next day? We got 14 types in a day once. Not the easy type, either. She would tell us contradicting lies, like how she never drank a drop of alchoholic drink in her life, then that she lost her singing voice because she drank too much.

The whole class detested her. After she got sick of caning us, she made us give her chocolates for not handing in homework, or doing badly. My friend almost gave her expired chocolates once, but he got caught.

Wow, Nutty. Your teacher sounds insane.

A teacher that makes my skin crawl is my History teacher

1. She is old and has fallen of her rocker
2. She stole my french fry!
3. She goes around asking people for money
4. She wore a hoodie to school when we aren't allowed to
5. She made the whole class miss our lunch because someone WHISLED
6. She always gives us stupid lectures
7. She spends the whole class period talking about how the stock market is going to crash again and she's going to lose all her money, and then she blames us for not knowing the material we need to pass the class

I had way too many but then again, I've been through quite a few school systems, always moving around when I was younger.

Anyway, I had a student teacher once in my creative writing class accuse me of plagerism. He essentially accused me that the twelve page science-fiction story I wrote, (the assignment was to write about the end of the world) of my interpetation I copied and stole from the internet. Yay, right. I went to the internet and spent the two hours surfing to steal someone else's work instead of creating my own version. Right.

To prove the work was indeed my own words, I reluctently agreed that he could stand behind and watch me type. It was really awkward for sure.

I never did finish that story but he gave me an A-, with an apology in red ink. I wish I still had it now but I tossed the story. I guess I was still feeling irritated.

I've been accused of plagerism twice in my lifetime. The other was back in middle school. But, that's another story all together.
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

Hm...I have quite a few...

My 6th grade social studies/7th grade language arts teacher was notoriously bad. She was so picky, I got points off on my nametag and information sheet! Then when I handed her the new information sheet, I got a point off for it being late. I also flunked a quiz because I didn't have my name on it. To this day, it is the only class where I was failing two assignments in. Luckily, I improved.

She also talked a lot about random stuff (I could probably tell you more about her family and her new house than I could about ancient history). She dragged out some units in history, so we didn't get through everything. We also had to read "A Door in the Wall" (worst book ever). She gave us pointless oral quizzes, like on a children's book she read us and, what everyone did over winter break, and the movie Hercules (quick, what clouds was Pegasus made out of?). She also took two days to show us a 13 minute video once because she paused to "explain" stuff (it wasn't that hard to understand).

I wrote about her for my "bad teachers" paragraph assignment in 10th grade. I got points off because "it was beautifully written, but too darn long!"

I'm sad she retired the year after we had her. Now future generations won't have to suffer.

Then there was my 9th grade Earth Science teacher, who was incredibly boring and hated me. I had to sit front and center, and he'd tell me to wake up every time I "dozed off" (in reality, I had already fallen asleep and woken back up). Plus we had to watch these incredibly boring Richard Sadd videos.

I once came up with the theory that my teacher was a mad-scientist type who tried to take over the world, but no one took him seriously, so he resigned himself to being an Earth Science teacher.

My 11th grade Spanish teacher was awful. She had a hyper-focus on grammar and set incredibly low expectations. 25 months ago, I was reading "La Navidad de Winnie Puh" (Winnie Pooh's Christmas") and we had to make over 200 flashcards (she checked them). I was shedding flashcards until March. Now that I am reading Marquez and writing 4-page essays for my 300 level Spanish class, I am amazed at the progress I made. Of course that was mostly due to my AP Spanish teacher, who was incredibly tough but it was worth it because I got a 5 on the exam.

Haha, I haven't had any terrible teachers, thank goodness. Usually, even if they teach terribly, they're enthusiastic and eager to explain it over and over again if you don't get it. :)

However!

I am a biochemical engineering major, which means that I have a lot of units to take with an emphasis on biological systems. Because of this, I only have to take one class of quantum mechanics while most of my classmates, who are chemical engineers, have to take two classes of quantum mechanics, one about the general stuff (the class I had to take) and one about spectroscopy (the class I didn't have to take).

Apparently, the teacher teaching the spectroscopy class is a terrible teacher. He's Chinese and he has a really bad accent which makes him hard to understand. Plus, all the TAs (teacher's assistants) are also Chinese and have accents that make it difficult to understand. This wouldn't be so bad, except that he refuses to teach, telling the class that they should go to the TAs because he's not supposed to teach them. One time, during office hours, he actually refused to answer my classmate's questions, since "the TAs needed practice teaching" so she should go to them instead. Then, when she explained to him that she had classes at all of the TAs office hours, he told her that it was too bad and he refused to answer any of her questions. Finally, she just left, incredibly frustrated.

I am so glad I don't have to take that class...

I've had one of the worst ones ever! I'm telling you everyone in my class hated her. it was the last year before uni. The most important year! Which we all knew. Get good grades blah blah blah. And she was our teacher in the most important (and most boring) subject in the norwegian school, Norwegian!

She made excuses for when she didn't know the answer to our questions about the subject. She made us watch a horrible movie about to young girls who undresses themselves to sompare their body. I don't know if people actually do that! But please don't put it on tape and show it to us. It was horrible, we all felt so 'Dirty'. Like kid-porn or something.

And to top it off, I swear, she tried to run over me. You see, our school is in the middle of town and when it's recess, and free-period we tend to hang out in town, when I was walking down a narrow street, which had parked cars on both sides, she came driving up. Well, we moved a bit to the side(since we were walking in the middle of the street) so that she could pass us easily. But then the sped up and totally aimed at me. One normally slows down to avoid hitting people. So, if i hadn't jumped between to parallell parked cars she would have definately hit me. How sick is that?

Well, no need to tell you i didn't get good grades in that subject. None of us did... Sucker:P haha

Well, I haven't really had any bad teachers.. But, let me tell you my story.

I am now in sixth grade honors. Because I am in honors class, I have to have two seventh and eighth grade teachers. I m stuck in the same classroom for five periods of the day! I only have one teacher for reading and language arts, one for science, math, and lunchbase, one for Social Studies (which I like), one for typing class (I already know how to type), and one for gym (which I like). My science and math teacher is pretty strict. I was absent for week, and she thought about not letting me go on a field trip because I had a couple missing assignments. My reading and language arts teacher takes of ten points if an assignment is one day late. Ten points! My typing teacher teaches nothing. She just says "Okay, you are supposed to be on lesson six today, some of you aren't even on lesion five. Go to your computers." All we do is sit at a computer learning (re-learning for me) the home row keys and a couple others. My Social Studies teacher is fun. We can submit Bellwork questions, and they can be about anything. We get a lot of football questions. She also was a runner when she was younger, and still is. She was also the Volleyball coach. My gym teacher is alright, but he doesn't deal out punishments too often. If we don't turn in our report card covers, we have to run a lap around the soccer field. No big deal. Several times, I was trying to shoot some baskets by myself. Several boys caught the ball, and decided to play keep-away from me. When I told the coach, he just talked to them about not stealing my ball. Of course, they just laughed it off and did it again and again. Well, that's my school life this year. Hope I didn't bore you!
