Heroes

This is based off of the TV show series, Heroes. It is not required to have seen the show, but I’m sure it helps.

Plot:
People from around the globe are realizing they have abnormal and special abilities or superpowers. They hide these abilities from common people, but still use it for the good of mankind. These powers run in families and through blood lines. There are heroes, but also there are villains. It all depends on how you want to use those powers.

Villains can turn back and forth from good to evil. Once you decide what your character is- good or evil- it’s not set in stone. If you’ve watched Heroes then you know how this plays out.

This will first start out in whichever country your in. Then all of these heroes and villains find each other and then events are set into play. Everyone can take it from there.

Rules:
-No fantasy creatures, you must be human

-No killing off other characters without permission, but I must warn you, people will die.

-You must be dedicated and post at least every three days. If you are to leave for a short time you must PM me. If you leave anyone has permission to kill your character. Like I said before, people die.

-No characters from Heroes, but you may use the superpowers shown in the TV show.

-Put thought into each post. A good paragraph at the least.

-No perfect characters. Even super-heroes have their flaws.

Name-Alex Evans
Age- 17
Gender- Male
Personality- He is kind of a fun loving guy but he will be taken by any emotion he has if strong enough
Appearance- He has short sort of Spike fair hair, green eye for the left blue for the right, he has a few freckles scattered on his face but not many. He is sort of handsome. he is around 5 foot 7
Country- He lives in London
Social Status- He lives in middle class
Occupation- He has a part time Job at a skate shop
History- He doe not know the full extant of his abilities yet but so far he has discovered that he can absorb electricity when he was chased into a power plant by a few thugs and when he was pushed into the generator and lost consciousness he brought them in and when he woke up was still doing it.
Superpower- He can control electricity with the ability to create it, absorb it and control its flow where it is found.
Weakness- he does not have a rein on his abilities and sometimes goes into a fit of rage and they are released and also he can be very immature
Good or evil: good




Name- Tyler Evens (Alex's twin)
Age- 17
Gender- Male
Personality- unlike Alex he is not very fun loving but he is very serious, he follows rules mostly and does not get into his brothers antics
Appearance- he looks just like Alex except he is an inch taller wears his hair down and longer and his eyes are the reverse of his.
Country- London
Social Status- middle class
Occupation- He works at a book store
History- He is yet to find out about his powers but is close to realizing he has them.
Superpower- he can control the earth, from riping it from the ground and through touch change his body into any type of it including metal
Weakness- like Alex does not have control over them and he also usually follows the rules not wanting to break them and over thinks his actions a lot.
Good or evil: unknown

Name- Charlie Brennen
Age- 17
Gender- Male
Personality- He's reserved, and afraid that people will try and take his power from him if they know about it, and so he tries to keep away from people a little. At the same time, he does love making new friends, the very reason he took his job.

Social Status- Middle Class
Occupation- Student, works at a barista in a local coffee shop.
History- None to speak of, his father's a manager of a small business, and though neither of them realise it, a telekinteic himself himself.
Superpower- Telekinesis
Weakness- He tends to rely on his power a little too much, and tends to have difficulty resolving problems without using it, making for tough times when he tries to do something in public.

Name- Lucian Knox
Age- 28
Gender- Male
Personality- He's a hardliner - follows orders to the letter

Country- America
Social Status- Middle Class
Occupation- He's a contractor for the Primatech Paper Company (assuming we're starting around Season One)
History- He was picked off the streets by Agent Johnson and his men, and trained by the Company as part of the 'one of us, one of them' policy
Superpower- Enhanced Strength
Weakness- He's got a real temper, and often lashes out when thigns go wrong, much to the company's displeasure.

Name- Lyova (or "Lev") Aleksandrovich
Age- 21
Gender- Male
Personality- Lev tends to act on impulse, living in the moment and rarely, if ever, planning ahead. He simply goes with the flow and pays little attention to rules. He has the potential to swing towards heroism, but he could easily become a villain. Whatever he becomes, the opposite side of the spectrum will always be open to him. He has been described as the personification of chaos.

Social Status- Poor (disowned from an Upper Class family)
Occupation- Wanderer. He sometimes settles down, but he always moves on when he feels like it.
History- Lev trained to be a boxer from the age of 16, against his rich father's wishes, who wanted him to take over the family business. Lev was nearly killed in a fight when he was 18 when, accidentally, he flew away from the fight, much to the audience's surprise. He has learnt to master his technique since the "incident". He has left his short-lived boxing career behind, but he is still very muscular, giving him huge momentum when he flies.
Hero or Villain- A bit of both (leaning slightly more towards Evil)
Superpower- Flight.
Weakness- Seems incapable of planning or sticking to other people's plans - every act of his is done on impulse.

Name- Tara Maise
Age- 24
Gender- Female
Personality- Is funny, intelligent and sweet. She is fun-loving and is always laughing.

Social Status- Poor
Occupation- Secretary for a lawyer. She is in training to become a doctor or field researcher.
History- Tara has yet to discover she has superpowers. Her family has never told her that super human blood runs in the family. She has gone to college, but her parents didn't have enough money to finish because their wallets ran dry when Jason went to Harvard. Tara still takes college classes and works as an secretary to a lawyer. She supports herself by her parent's sending small sums of money.
Hero or Villain- Good
Superpower- Levitation of objects.
Weakness- Has no idea how to control her powers.

Name- Jason Maise
Age- 26
Gender- Male
Personality- He is a serious person who enjoys manipulating people to get what he wants.

Social Status- Wealthy
Occupation- Lawyer
History- Jason found out he had superpowers when he became angry at one of his clients. The client died and his powers were let loose, destroying his office. After college, Jason became a successful lawyer in New York and never told his family where he went. They now see him in newspapers due to his success, but don't bother to look for him. He doesn't have a family of his own, but directs all his focus on his work.
Hero or Villain- Evil
Superpower- Can absorb life energy from any living thing to make him stronger. When he is angry he does this without noticing. Jason shoots different forms of energy, like electricity, from himself when he gains enough life energy. The energy being shot depends on the victim.
Weakness- Has a terrible temper.

Name: Alexandria Blayne Craigge (Lex)

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Personality: Alex is extremely bubbly and fun. She loves to laugh and loves to make people laugh, but she can be serious, though it's hard to be when she's around her really good friends.

Social Status: Wealthy, but usually hides that fact

Occupation: Manager at a skating rink and recent graduate

History: Alexandria grew up normally until she was about eight and accidentally summoned some monster. The monster blinded her in her right eye, leaving a deep scar, that she usually hides, to remind her to be more carefull. Her hometown is small, and everyone believes that she was mauled by a bear, so nobody makes fun of her scar. Like stated before, she found her power at the age of eigth, and it almost cost her her entire eyesight. She's helped others with their powers, including her little brother.

Hero or Villain: Unsure

Superpower: Can summon anything, even monsters

Weakness: She's blind in her right eye and some of her summons aren't tame and she's the only one that can tame them

Name: Adam Bailey Craigge

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: He, unlike his sister, is only bubbly and funloving around his friends. He's usually VERY serious, and usually is teased by his sister about not 'living at little'.

Occupation: Tenth Grader and works at his sister's roller rink

History: Grew up normal, until five years ago, when he caught his older brother on fire because he wouldn't take Adam with him to a baseball game after promising to do so. His sister instantly told him not to tell anybody about it and if he needed to ask any questions to come to her.

Hero or Villain: Not sure, goes wherever his sister goes

Superpower: He can catch anything on fire with his mind

Weakness: His temper gets the best of him sometimes, and he catches random things on fire for no reason

Other: Up for love

Name- Peter Sanders
Age- 27
Gender- male
Personality-He is warm hearted and kind with a sense of purpose and good

Social Status- middle class
Occupation- He is a in home nurse
History- He had a very powerful family that influenced not much. When he got out of collage he had no direction but he wanted to help so he became a nurse. He does discovered his powers when he was walking on the terrace and it fell out under him and he some how stayed in the air. He did not know how but became obsessed with trying to do it again (who he copied it from is unknown)
Hero or Villain- Good
Superpower- He can absorb any power, so long as he is some what near to the person with it and just has to think about the person for it to come
Weakness- he is to nice and is easily stepped on and does not know about where his powers come from.

Name- Keiran (goes by Kai)
Age- 17
Gender- male
Personality- He's hot tempered with a love of life that no one else can match. His friends joke that he's an 'optimist by nature, a cynic by circumstance.' The best way to describe Kai is intense. Arrogant, graceful, and passionate, he has a temper, but years of experience have taught him to think with his head. Kai treats everyone he meets with some degree of mistrust. He lives by his own code and he's a trouble maker with a wicked sense of humor, but his heart is in the right place. The rest of his personality will be revealed with time.

Country- America right now but constantly traveling. Doesn't stay in one place for long.
Social Status- wealthy
Occupation- bounty hunter

History- Kai received his powers when he was very young. He lived in Italy with his parents and twin sister. When they were four they flew to America to see their grand parents. Unfortunately the plane crashed en route. Falling through the sky Kai was oddly detached from the trauma. Surrounded by nothing but air his powers awoke and he flew away. To this day he believes his entire family died when the plane crashed into the ocean. Has been making his own way in the world since then, and hindering the Company wherever he can.

Hero or Villain- good right now.
Superpower- el'sike (pronounced el-see-kay) basically a person of the sky, his power gives him mastery over anything to do with air. He can manipulate wind, shapeshift into birds, and he ended up with wings too.
Weakness- Extreme claustrophobia he has difficulty being shut away from the sky. His powers will short circuit if he's jolted with enough electricity.

Name- Keira
Age- 17
Gender- female
Personality- Cool, calm, and collected Keira's emotions are retarded. She doesn't feel anger, joy, or sorrow, to any great degree. Thinks with her head. More will be revealed with time.

Country- America right now, but she gets sent all over by the company.
Social Status- wealthy
Occupation- Company Agent, Lucian's partner. (If that's alright with you Billy?)

History- Kai's twin sister. Like her brother she found her powers during the plane crash when they were four. She fell into the water and found she was able to become one with it. She didn't set foot on dry land again for three years, which is when the company finally hunted her down and captured her. Like Kai she believes that her entire family died in the crash, neither twin is aware the other survived.

Hero or Villian- Evil for now, might turn good after she meets her twin.
Superpower- el'soke (pronounced el-soe-kay) Keira is to water what her brother is to wind.
Weakness- Easily dehydrated, needs three times more water then a normal person. Her powers will short circuit if she's jolted with enough electricity.

Name- Rebbecca Cullen (sorry about cheesey last name)

Age- 17

Gender- female

Personality- she acts shy around others but with someone she loves she is a totally different person.

Appearance- (Pictures are appreciated)

Country- Forks

Social Status- Rich

Occupation- pupil

History- Rebbecca found out she had superpowers when she tried to commit suicide and she survived for hours till her parents let her down. She still broke her neck but it didn't hurt her.

Hero or Villain- Hero but turns villian

Superpower- Same as the cheerleaders(in series) Cant die, but also she cant feel pain.

Weakness- Love is her weakness, it can take over her life

Name- Demetrius "Demetri"

Age- 21

Gender- Male

Personality- Cunning, witty, charming. He is very smart and smooth. He can keep your attention and keep you guessing. He is very complex, but approachable. People feel comfortable around him.

Country- Italian

Social Status- Poor, but you would never know.

Occupation- Theif. Demetri has been using his powers to steal things since he was a small boy. He is also quit the con artist.

History- He discovered his powers just after his parents were killed in a gang war in an alley in the small italian village he grew up in. All of his parents possesions were taken and he had to fend for himself. At first he would distract people by changing their moods and capturing their attention while stealing from them. He didn't always need his powers to steal though. Now he has begun to master mind control and people just hand him over their possesions.
He lives on his own in a shabby apartment in Italy where he hides his greatest captures in the walls and floorboards. He could have a flashy pad but he prefers to lay low.

Hero or Villain- Unsure, could be swayed towards either one depending on how it would help him

Superpower- He can manipulate people's feelings and has started into a little bit of mind control.

Weakness- he doesn't have super good control over the mind control part of his powers. Also he has a hard time working with others and is a bit bossy.
