Heroes

Hanna stared, still not saying anything at the man standing in front of her. She just stared at his beautiful face. How did he know about her.

"Can you hear this" She forced into his head,

"Yes" he spoke aloud.

"so whats special about you" She said as she tried to read his mind.

"Pack it in, I'll tell you" Ballow said as he watched Hanna tense up.

"Ok, tell me" She said as she reached out her hand and grabbed his, sending a charge of power through.

Alex Evans

Alex left his brothers room diappointed in himself, some how he had to figure out how he did what he did at the plant but for now he remebered he had to go. Alex was hungry and knew he had to eat so he left the house and rolled over to his favorite cafe. As Usual it was packed but he did not mind he always knew someone there and when he did not he just sat down at a table with random people. Today he saw he knew no one and looked around or a table with an open seat and found a table for four occupied with only two people. One was a woman probably in her 20's with red hair and Brown eyes and the other was a boy about his age with short red hair covering his eyes. He decided to go there and sat down. He gestured for a waitor and he came over. "yes i'll have a brownie sunday with extra hot, and i mean temputer wise fugde and extra whipped cream please" the waitor nodded and left with Alex licking his lips. "hi, i'm Alex you can call me X though my friends do"
"Hello, , i'm Ballow and this is Ha-Hann- Hanna" the boy said smiling
"its actually just hannah" the girl corrected
"cool" Alex said
"Well nice to meet ya X, why do they call you that though" Ballow asked
"i skate board and i am very good at it and my friends are very streo tupical skaters so they like nick names like this." Alex answered

I felt the aura of power before I saw the woman. She was beautiful with dazzling blue eyes that seemed to be taking in every detail of me even from across the park. We knew exactly who we were before we even laid eyes on each other, but it was something more. As if we were drawn to each other.

Her life energy was like nothing I'd ever felt. I could almost taste her sweet aura, but yet I resisted. There was something special about her, something new I had never seen.

And then I heard something in my head. At first I thought I was insane, but then focused in on the sound.

Hello, my name is Sasha. I won't hurt you. What's your name? I'm not sure why, but I didn't feel scared by the thoughts the woman had placed in my head. I was a little shocked, but also pleased to find that's what she could do.

I looked straight into her eyes. She was walking towards me, but was about 100 yards away.

My name is Jason.

Peter S

Peter was down about not being able to do what he did again so he went to the roller rink like he always did when he was sad. Peter walked into the building and then went to the snack bar he ordered an ice tea then walked around the place waiting to finish his drink before starting. As he walked he passed by the managers Lex and Adam and stopped to say hi. Peter had known them for awhile he came to the rink a lot and when he was in college worked here and had only left a few months ago.
"hey Lex, hey Adam whats up" Peter said and sat down at the table.

you guys lost me in a matter of two days LOL. I'm moving anyways so I wouldn't have been on much, so sorry but I'm out.

Sasha

Jason? So, what can you do, Jason? Her words were very deliberate and precise. As she slowly made her way towards him, avoiding the open spaces and staying under the cover of the trees.

No need to ask what you can do he replied. She could see his surprise when her laugh rang out inside his head. You can communicate mentally, right?

"Not exactly." She said next to him, making him jump. Smiling at his reaction and circled him slowly, taking in every detail. He watched her carefully. "I don't like open spaces." she said suddenly. "Follow me." And she strode back towards the alleyway. Not bothering to turn back to check if he was following.

Lucian Knox

He cracked his knuckles a little, "Go after the siblings anyway, stick with the plan we discussed. I'll bring your brother in."

Keira gave him a concerned look, and he smiled, "Don't worry, I won't kill him. If worst comes to worst I'll use my taser." He saw a young ma nstart talking to the siblings, and his brow creased a little as he frowned, "Go and deal with them now, before they get too much of a crowd going. The longer we wait, the more people are going to show up here."

"We're going to take them in full public view? That's not the Company's style, Lucian."

He shook his head, "We're going to make them an offer in full public view. If they turn us down, we'll come after them later."

He started towards Keiran, flashing the smile of a Primatech salesman. "Morning, Keiran. I'd like to talk with you for a moment, if you have time to spare. I represent Primatech Paper, and we've got a proposition for you." If the boy's expression was anything to go by, Lucian was about to find himself with a fight on his hands. He welcomed the prospect, Keiran was going to be surprised when he went up against him. They always were, even if there was no excuse for surprise. The Company picked its agents for their resourcefulness.

Ellis McCall

He watched from one of the shadier spots in the park as a boy sat down with Ballow and his new friend. More power. He thought. So far, he'd guessed that the girl was relatively harmless. Ballow he was still unsure of, but he thought he'd have the edge if he could get the element of surprise. This new boy was an unknown, though.

I'll have to put things off until later, then. He cursed quietly and turned, going deeper into the park before Ballow could see him. He'd find someone else with power and take theirs.

Ballow


Ballow saw something at the corner of his eye and turned, someone walked deeper into the bushes. Someone with the same colour t-shirt that Ellis had worn. He thought about it for a second before dismissing it as, Nonsense. Everyone has that colour shirt! . . . still . .

X was in a heavy conversation with Hanna, well as heavy as any conversation with Hanna could be. They were still waiting for their orders and as the waiter put X's order in front of him, Ballow exclaimed, "Excuse me, we ordered ours first. Now where is it?"

The waiter frowned, "I'm sorry sir, What did you order?"

Ballow growled, "Chocolate mud cake with strawberry ice cream and a cherry."

Hanna was a little bit surprised that he had remembered it exactly. The waiter bowed then replied, "We'll have it out in no time, sir."

Ballow smiled, "You see that you do."

The waiter left and Ballow turned to X who was enjoying his meal, "So, you live here?"

"Yeah." X replied digging into his food.

Ballow grinned, "Perfect! You and Hanna can be my guides, my other one has seemed to have disappeared. Anyway X I feel somthing around you, what's your power?"

X spurted out what he was eating, "WHAT?!?"

Ballow smiled innocently, "You can be my guides?"

"No the other thing!" X muttered while trying not to choke on some food.

Ballow proffered forward, "My other guide disappeared?"

"No! The last one!" X was yelling madly.

"Oh, that one." Ballow replied. There was an awkward silence before X blurted, "Well are you going to tell me what you said?"

Ballow frowned, "You wanted to know what I said?"

X growled, "Look I've had enough of your games, tell me what you said!"

Ballow put a finger to his lips, a pondering expression on his face, "Game? Oh yes that reminds me, can you guys both use your powers together? It'll be like a game!"

Hanna shifted back a bit, but X leaned in, "I knew you said something about powers!"

"I did?" Ballow asked a smile on his face.

"Yeah, then you led me on that stupid question after question thing." X replied.

"Question after question?" Ballow questioned with a grin.

"Yeah, it was so annoy- Hey, wait I know what you're doing! You're playing games again aren't you?" X narrowed his eyes at Ballow.

Hanna let out a giggle, Ballow's and X's antics were amusing to watch. Then Ballow pointed a finger to the roof and his eyes sparkled, "So, we gonna play or what?"

Hanna nervously replied, "Yeah, I'll go."

X replied more enthusiastically while stuffing some more food into his mouth, "Yesh! I'll play!"

Ballow smiled, "Excellent. Okay Hanna you try to read X's mind and X you try to do your power beofre she can. Hanna if you find out the power he's going to use, mind tell it to me before he uses it, kay?"

They both nodded. Ballow said, "No cheating! On your marks, get set - Go-anna."

Hanna looked a little shocked and Ballow smiled, X was pouting. "Okay seriously this time. GO!"

Keiran-

Kai sized the guy up instantly. He didn't look like much of a threat, but with powers you never knew. And the wind coming off this guy was pretty strong. Obviously they still hadn't realized he was their saboteur, or this guy wouldn't be trying to negotiate.

Shrugging, Kai stepped back out of the man's reach. "Thanks, but I already have a job. I'm also not interested in working for the Company."

The man raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "So you already know about us?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Then you know we bring in our targets whether they want to or not."

Laughing Kai grinned at the older man, he drew the wind from the area and stepped back onto a cushion of air. "Pretty much. So, that we have the pleasantries out of the way. Why don't we get to the real bussiness?"

***wait what, peter can't control air he absorbs other powers to use and he doesn't know anything about how to use the powers yet nor the company***

ALEX EVANS

Alex sat at the table still a little shocked by how Ballow had know he had powers and how he had somehow found two others who supposedly had them to. But right now he was trying to use his powers his whole body was vibrating in an attempt to activate them but he had no luck. "i can't" Alex finally said giving up.
"well that's no fun" Ballow said "then i guess Hannah wins by default, what was his powers any way"
"i don't know something about electricity" Hannah said.
"yeah shes right" Alex said taking several bites of his brownie to bring him up. And when that had no effect he hit his fits against the table hard. Then he smiled because when he pounded his hands down multitude of bolts came from each hand.
"yeah that's better, but you still lose" Ballow said

Jason

What a mysterious character, I thought to myself. I looked over at her face to see if she had heard, but Sasha pretended not to. I followed her into the alleyway, not frightened at all. Considering the circumstances, I was pretty sure she was in more danger from me than I from her. I fiercely resisted the urge to kill her when we were alone. My thirst for knowledge and my curious nature proved to be by far stronger.

"So, what else is it that you do?" I asked aloud. She answered,

"Well, that wouldn't be much fun if I just told you, now would it? I've shown you some of my powers, now show me yours." I considered her reply.

"Mine are a bit more devious. I'm afraid I'd scare you." I told her. She seemed to wave it off.

Just tell me, she whispered into my mind. I felt compelled to do so.

"I take people's life energy." I said.

"That's it?" she asked disappointed.

"Well... it makes me stronger." I admitted. Sasha seemed a bit more interested.

"For fighting?" Sasha asked hopefully. I shrugged.

"I guess so." I mumbled. Sasha contemplated what I had said and then told me,

"Jason Maise, I think we'd be the perfect pair to take down the Company."

Sasha

The man intrigued her. Sadly for him, revealing his power meant that now she could stop him from doing it to her. She smiled at him and waited for his reply.

"What is the Company?"

"Ah." She said and laughed. Her laugh sent shivers down his spine and it left a strange tingle in the air for a few seconds after, "The Company, wish to use people like you and me for their own ends. Effectively to gain power."

He nodded, taking in all that she was saying.

"They once tried to use me to help them deal with someone called the Haitian. I won't go into it but whilst on my 'assignment' I saw freedom. The gate was open, so I left. Since then I have been seeking my own kind of power." She rolled the word "power" around like a sugar cube on her tongue. "You and I, could, if we wanted to, take the Company down. There are only two others who I know of who could also achieve this. Peter Sanders and Ellis McCall. But I don't think they will be helping us."

She stopped abruptly. "So, are you in?" She held out her hand.

Ricardo C

Ricardo sat behind the cashier stand still confused. Somehow he had split in 6 and then after he tried everything he could to get them back he did it by just groaning. he knew he had to figure out his powers but how he would do it was beyond him. Then he got it, he looked on the floor then his eyes fell on a comic book one of the kids dropped when they ran out the door. He went over and picked it up. He flipped through the pages, he saw an image of batman then dropped it. He went over to the door and then left locking the door and flipping the open sign to closed. The he walked down the streets, he walked about 5 blocks before he came to the comic book store. He walked in and went to the counter.
"hey i need, any comic book with a main character who can clone him or herself" Ricardo said in Portuguese
"um there are none like that' said the man behind the desk
"well do you have any with a character who can do it where the power is explored"
"nope"
"okay" Ricardo said and left. Great, now what can i do

**boltageman, Keiran's talking to Lucian, not Peter. Oh, and SishBee and Selene, Ellis might join in if he's given the opportunity to take the powers of some of the Company agents.**

Lucian

He rolled his shoulders a little, tensing and relaxing, "You don't understand, Keiran. What we do, we do only for the good of everyone. Sometimes the powers that manifest are a danger to the holder and those around them. We try to keep track of people only for their protection. Your sister understands that, and the only reason you do not is because you still see the world in terms of black and white. What we do," he said, quoting what he'd been told when he'd been hired, "Is deal with the morally grey areas, so you don't have to."

Without another word, he drew his taser and fired.
