I'm new just signed up a little while ago. I like the site so far.

Anyway let me introduce myself.
I'm Adrianna, I'm 16 years old. I'm here because I want to impove my writing. I've been really out of sync lately, and I want to work on it. I write poetry and stories. My friends say that I'm good, I think I am - not trying to be modest or anything I just believe in myself.

Writing has always been a part of me. I don't know what I want to study yet. All I know is that I want my profession to do something with writing. Please I'm open for opinions on my work. I'm an open-minded person. I take the good as well as the bad. Thats how we all learn right. I might sound alrittle weird here. I'm more down to earth then I might sound. Well, I guess that's it.

Hi Adrianna! Welcome aboard!
Is good to know that you want to improve your writing skills and make the writing something for the future. We need to expand this culture more!

Now, we have some basics rules that everything must know (they are very simple, so, don't worry...):

~Please keep a 2:1 ratio. This means that for every post you make (your work), you should at least make two reviews.

~Rate your works accordly. If they have any sexual scene and/or f-word, rate them R. Works rated PG-13 below will appear on the YWS front page.

~ No chat speak and/or capitalized words/sentences. We are all writers here (supposedly...)

That's it! See?! Very simple, right?

My name is Charles, and I am now 18. I hope that still qualifies as 'young.' I don't like to tell other people if I'm a good writer; I am not the judge. I want you to decide for yourselves my abilities, and be sure to let me in on what I could improve on.
My mind can think up huge plots in seconds; and I hope to put some short clips of my huge (if you consider 27 printed pages...that's only the rough draft of my longest PRINTED story;long)stories on for you to critique.

Hello Charles. Welcome to the YWS. I hope you get along here just fine. We are very nice and friendly. Eighteen is a nice age, we have here user with 25, so don't worry. You still have enough time to grow as a writer.
Having a great mind to create great plots it's pretty handful thing. I love plots with intrigues, treasons, mystery and a touch of romance. So delightful...

I'll give you a brief on the main rules but you can read them all here.

1. No chat speak and/or capitalized sentences/words.

Hey new members of YWS ^^ I'm Shina, another one of those blue-titled people known as greeters. It is my job as well as my pleasure to greet the newbs of YWS. Looks like Shauni got all of the tech stuff, so I'll just give you my pieces of advice:

Don't take all reviews to heart. YWS instructors will probably shred your work to pieces, but it's all in the hope that you'll improve amazingly...and you will! I assure you if you listen to their suggestions and apply their knowledge to your work, you'll get ten times better!

When someone signs your guestbook sign theirs back, it's nice.

Hi! My name is Laura and I found this site on google. I love to read and I have found that writing is just as much fun. One of my faveorite things to do is to stay up late in bed listening to music on my ipod while writing. That is when I find I work best.
