Hi everyone.

As you can see I'm new. I've started writing things alot but I never finish anything. So I'm here for someone to tell me to continue writing even if it is not so good.

so..I´m new and well...I suppose I´ll introduce myself a little bit now:
I´m 17 years old, I´m coming from Germany and I never wrote
a story or poem in English before, but I´m really trying and I hope
you will forgive me if my grammar or something might be not perfect

Welcome to the YWS!
Here you can learn, trade experiences and have lots of fun, all in one!
I advise you to create your own post on the Welcome Forum, just for you to speak a bit more about yourself and make a lot of friends. But, if that is not the case, I will give you a brief on the main rules:

~No chat speak or capitalized words. We are all writers here, supposedly...
~Please review two pieces of work before you post something of your own. A simple and easy, 2:1 ratio.
~Rate your works properly. Works rated PG-13 below will appear on the YWS front page and works that contain f-word and/or sexual content, should be rated R.

That's it my friends! I hope your journeys here will be awesome and I hope to see you around, posting, review or just randomly writing!

Hi... I'm new to this forum. I'm also knew to the whole "forum" thing in general, I don't get online too much, (too much garbage floating around). I love to write and my three sisters are horrible critiquer's; they just say oh it's awesome, I love it. I don't like to hear that. I don't care if people say it sucks, some of it probably does. I just want to know what other people think of my writing and I hope some of it is at least bearable:) I'll be posting some of my work later on after I read some of ya'lls writing for fun.

Here are some important rules we have:

~There is a 2:1 ratio when it comes to reviewing work and submitting your own. This means for every piece of literature you submit to YWS, you must critique two pieces of work here. So you best get reviewin'!

~Please rate your work. If their is mature content or the F-word, please rate it R. Whatever other content there may be, please rate it accordingly.

~Please don't use caps or chat-speak. NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THIS! n no1 wnts 2 c dis. You may use term abbreviations, though, such as MC, POV, and the classic lol.

Hi everyone! I just signed up a few minutes ago. It seems that everybody is really nice. I like nice people. You can call me Shadow or Swift. I like to write and read a lot. I also like to draw. I would like someone to criticize my writing because my family is all like "It's really good" or "Great job" My dad said that I should show my writing to my language arts teacher. Oh the horror!
