May

Abruptly, May woke up, grabbed her sweater and went out the door. She began walking toward the hospital.

Her eyes seemed strange. It was as if she was looking at everything through a reddish light.

Upon arriving to the hospital, she walked in and saw Leo and Sam and Pyramid all grouped around.

Sam shouldn't be here.

"Leo and May, come," Pyramid said.

Leo followed him as he couldn't make his own actions. He stared back at May, his eyes filled with fear. he didn't want to do this. Its was forced on him, he couldn't control himself.

Pyramid Head could smell his fear. He lifted one of his scabbed hands and rested on Leo's shoulder.

"Keeps walking" He whispered in a voice with no emotion.

Kylar-

He fought to get out of the vision, instinctively recognizing the event as a convergence. But it didn't stop there, the future branched in front of Kylar. A thousand times a thousand different futures. Some as different as night or day, some with only a piece different here or there. A maze of choices, and actions.

With each choice made, in the present and the future, the maze altered. Growing ever larger and more complex the further ahead Kylar saw.

It was too much for Kylar to take in, the past was set in stone, the future was not. He recognized the effects of the Cassandra Spiral, a mental cascade that would leave him reeling for weeks to come, if he were lucky. If he weren't Kylar would be trapped in the visions with no way out.

Something snapped in his mind, and Kylar focused on a single vision. The level of clarity was high, signifying an event that would come to pass no matter what.One of his friends stood in front of him, their face strangely shadowed so he couldn't tell who it was. They held one of his daggers in their hand. The knife flashed upwards and slashed across Kylar's chest, tracing a line of fire behind it.

The pain was like a splash of cold water, gasping Kylar snapped back to the present. No Face had vanished, leaving him and Proteja alone on the roof. But the pain from the vision still lingered. Kylar glanced down and blinked in surprise. His shirt was torn and blood seeped from the deep cut along his chest.

Kylar shook his head and felt something wet track down his face. Alarmed, he raised his hand, checking his eyes, ears, and nostrils. His hand came away bloody. Turning Kylar heard voices coming from the stairwell leading to the roof. Then the seizure set in fully, his eyes rolled upwards, his knees, buckled, and he dropped to the floor.

Vaguely he heard Proteja take off, worry etched in the hawks call. Then darkness closed over him and he slept.

*Just so everyone knows Kylar is going to sleep for about ten hours or so, then he'll wake up. OK?*

I'm really confused guys

Pippa scornfully left the boy behind. She kept her random searching of the orphanage. Her feet made no sound. hours passed and the sun began to rise. She looked out a grimy window and saw hope. She turned to leave but before she completely turned a large beautiful bird knocked on the window with it's talons. She struggled to open the window. When it was open the bird began chattering like mad. "Umm. Sorry, I don't speak bird." The bird looked forlorn. "Just show me what you need. You obviously understand me." The bird nodded and motioned for her to come outside. Pippa looked around and jumped from the window where about three feet down was a soft landing of grass. From there she ran to keep up with it. It lead her to a rotting wooden terrace. It flew up above it. Pippa climbed the terrace. To her dismay, it crumpled when she jumped to make the roof. As she ran along the roof a sense of freedom overcame her. She felt the urge to spread out her arms like wings. She gracefully twirled as she ran. She stopped in mid pirouette when she saw Kylar slumped over dripping blood. "What the..." She looked up at the bird and it looked down in expectance. "Stay here." she told it. She ran to get help from Lizzy and Fee.

Lizzy-

The halo of the sun. She found a book about "The Order" a strange religious group, whom believed they could resurrect their god. Lizzy dropped her book. A man was staring at her. With May's eyes, and he spoke with Leo's voice. There was something strange though, he looked more familiar to Kylar. "What do you want?" Lizzy asked.
He smiled, making Lizzy tremble with uncertain fear.
" Come, come little rabbit. Run into the rabbit hole where death awaits." His voice was terrifying.
Lizzy stepped back from him. She turned around and ran out of the room; however she ran right into a woman. "Oh I'm sorry." Lizzy forced out.
The woman looked at her. She had long red hair, with a black lace cloth on hear head, which draped down to her shoulders. She smiled. "My dear child it is alright."
Her voice was comforting and Lizzy didn't notice that she fell asleep.


************************** Hospital

She opened her eyes. Lizzy was strapped to a bed. She struggled. "H-Help!" Lizzy shrieked.
Her voice was quiet, since her throat was dry. Looking around, she noticed she was in a hospital room. "Help." she whispered.
A man entered the room her. It was a doctor. He looked sickly, and he humped over with a strange parasite in his hump. He held a scalpel. Lizzy began to shake and choke on her breaths. "W-w-w-w-ww..." She couldn't;t finish her sentence.
The monstrous doctor walked closer to her. In fact he was limping towards her. The closer he got the more Lizzy could see of him. He was wearing an old medical jacket. It looked burned and wrinkled. His skin was moldy and it was peeling. Leaving a trail of his flesh behind him. He smelt like puke and human waste. Lizzy felt nauseous.
Lizzy could do nothing but watch helplessly as he tortured her. Using his scalpel to impale her soft warm skin.

Pyramid Head lead Leo and May into a little room that the sign on the wall. Thats when Le noticed where he was. The same symbol that had mucked the wall of the orphanage now laid on the wall of the little room.

"May?" He whispered but then noticed she wasn't with him.

"May!" He shouted but then quieted doen as heard a knocking on the door.

"Leo let me in" May Shouted, "Open the door quick"

Thats when heard her scream and Pyramid's laugh. He looked through the keyhole as Pyramid dragged her along.

"No! get off her" he shouted.

A few hours later Leo picked the lock out of the room. He walked to the nearest room by. Inside lay Lizzy on a bed her arms and body cut up.

"Lizzy?" He asked as he got closer," Lizzy please wake up" A tear rolled down his face landing on hers.

Fee stumbled through the halls looking for anyone. She was almost in tears. She couldn't find her sister, or her friends. As she wandered the mazelike hallways of the orphanage a dirty hand grabbed her and put it's hand over her mouth. She was blindfolded. It seemed like forever when she reached a bright white room. The air was clogged with laughing gas. A hospital. She hated hospitals. She began kicking and screaming for Lizzie, May, Kylar, Pippa or anyone. "Fee!" A voice cried back. It was May. Fee screamed even harder. "Shut her up" a voice dripping in mock sweetness. The laughing gas overtook her and she blacked out.

Pippa waited by Kylar until he groggily awoke. "What happened," she asked as soon as he opened his eyes. He slowly answered in his tiredness and pain. "Let me help you." she said. Supporting him she got him down. "We have to hurry. They've got everyone." he said at last. "Fee?" She asked. "Everyone. At the hospital."
"Well lets go. You seem to have healed quick." She remarked at his almost healed wounds.

They reached the hospital and found it nearly deserted. They entered quietly and nobody saw them as they slipped towards the back where the others were held.

Lizzy-

Leo cried over her motionless body; however he soon realized he wasn't alone. Leo saw the doctor. He grabbed a scalpel on the table. He dashed at the monster and like a savage animal ripped it to pieces. After the beast was killed Leo returned to Lizzy. He held her hand. "Please don't die." He begged.
A familiar voice echoed in the room. "She is the mind." It was Leo's voice.
Rather though, it came from no face. He smiled. "The mind, it must suffer just as the soul. It must become insane with pain, hoplessness and doubt. But most of all it must become insane."
His voice sounded amused. "You bast@rd! you made this happen!" Leo shouted.
Lizzy moaned behind him. Leo quickly turned. "Lizzy?" He said filled with hope.
Lizzy was covered in blood and was cut everywhere. She opened her eyes, but instead of the kind eyes, she had fearful black eyes.

*Proteja is Kylar's guardian spirit. While he has a physical body it is transient and will change form at will. However no matter what form Proteja is in he will always be white with red eyes.*

Kylar-

As he and Pippa slipped silently into the hospital, they heard a rustle behind. Both turned isntantly, and Kylar grinned in relief. Proteja had chosen to follow them inside, taking the form of a white wolf, with those same creepy red eyes. Pippa looked at him questioningly and Kylar could only shrug.

The trio made their way along the hospital, towards the basement. The whole place was deserted, and gave off the feeling of a place where no human should be. They turned a corner and bumped into someone.

Kylar looked up and swore under his breath. It was one of the gardeners from the orphanage, like all the gardeners he had a gun holstered to his belt. He had always thought it was strange the orphanage was armed like that.

Grinning darkly the man struck, slinging Pippa into the wall. Kylar glanced at her to make sure she was alright. A bit groggy, but Proteja had jumped in front of her. He turned to face the gardener, who had drawn the gun. He was smiling cruelly as he spoke. "Such good children. Coming willingly to your own funeral. Now play nice and come with me unless you want to get hurt."

Kylar laughed, shaking his head in exasperation. He glared at the man, holding him with the force of his red eyes. "You think just because you're armed you've won. They would have better off sending monsters after me. If you're human, you are vulnerable. Look into my eyes. See my hell!"

The man blinked and looked around. He was standing in darkness. Shadows that came alive with the evil of humanity. The hate, fear, and rage. All the emotions that gave voice to humanities darkest sins. He was very much alive when he started screaming, and very much dead when he fell to the floor.

Sighing, Kylar crouched down and took the gun from the bodies hand. "Ahhh ah. I only meant to knock him out. I guess normal people really can't handle the Sight."

He turned and smiled when he saw Pippa standing, albeit holding onto the wolf for support. "What was that?" She asked, her voice surprisingly steady.

Kylar smiled wistfully as he handed the gun to Pippa. "I made him see what I see. That." He nodded at the body. "That is how I'll look in two or three decades. But before that we've got some friends to save."

Pippa nodded, and the two set off down the staircase the man had been guarding.

Lizzy-

Leo gasped at her eyes. However, Lizzy soon felt the pain. She screamed, making him flinch. "It hurts so much." She sobbed.
It was obvious how much pain she was in. Unfortunalty the more the squirmed the more she bled. Leo grabbed her. "Lizzy I know it hurts but you need to stay still, or you'll loose too much blood."
Lizzy paused and looked up at him. "L-Leo?" She whimpered.
She embraced into a hug, making him blush. "I-i-it hurts s-s-so much." She cried.

"Stay with me Lizzy" He sobbed as he could here no face slowly walking up to them. Leo gave all his atenion to Lizzy not worry of the monster behind.

"I wont let anyone hurt you, you know i wont" Leo said as he watched her scary eyes scan his face.

Pippa was now officially a bit scared of Kylar. He had just looked at that creature and made it drop dead. She gave a bit of space between them as they crawled. "Were now? They're guarding them." Pippa scanned her surroundings. "The vent. You're small, you'll fit." She dug into her pocket and pulled out a screwdriver. "You carry screwdrivers with you?" He asked uncertainly. "I climb through vents all the time. Hush now." She took the screen off and crawled through. Her small build gave her amazingly fast and quiet agility. Kylar was doing all right but he was moving too loudly. "Hush." she whispered. "Look." The vent gave them a clear view into one off the cell. "Lizzy. What happened? Why are her eyes like that?" Leo looked up and saw them. He gave them a signal. "Do you happen to have rope?" Kylar asked. "Nope. I never need rope." She looked at him like he was crazy. She jumped down from the ceiling vent and landed next to Leo. Kylar jumped too but lacking the grace needed to fall soundlessly. The deranged nurse that guarded the cells turned and charged. Pippa pulled out the scalpel that she had taken from the doctor's body.

Lizzy-

Kylar and Pippa had appeared into the room. Pippa attacked the nurse with a scalpel. It twitched, trying to cut her with a razor blade; however she easily slit its throat. Leo paid no attention to them, but Lizzy looked away from them. "Lizzy. I'm glad you are oh..." Pippa stopped.
She now saw Lizzy's wounded body. It was covered in her own blood, which was leaking out of all of the cuts. Lizzy dizzily reached her hand towards Pippa. "H-hey."
Pippa raced to Lizzy and hugged her/ "Oh my god, what have these monsters done to you?!"
Kylar watched. He felt no need to interrupt them.

Leo laid his head on the table. Covered in blood from Lizzy's wounds. He began to fall asleep.

"Leo dont sleep" He heard someone say but ignore them.

When he woke up Lizzy still lay on the bed but Leo could see Pyramid sitting in the corner watching the teenagers. He breathed heavly, did the others know he was there?
