"Erach, Lestat needs to be removed" She said as she left the room.

"Dont touch me,I can get out myself" Lestat shouted at Erach as he grabbed his arm. Lestat walked out the room and walked towards his old house. He would get ready for the banquet.

Erach

The elder wraith allowed his arm to become insubstantial again as he watched the foolhardy young man leave, golden eyes glowering a little at his passing. The shade shook his head, seeming to swirl about that one spot in the room, “That boy will have to learn his place someday soon.” He muttered before turning to the queen and bowing. “We should proceed to the great hall now, your majesty. You would not want to disappoint your people by making them wait, or to force the helots to pass up a chance to be graced by your presence.”

He’d outlived numerous kings and queens, each time the line seemed to be the same to him, but it seemed to work every time. Wraiths loved nothing more than forcing the helots to endure the sight of their lavish balls and banquets.

Straightening from his bow, Erach flowed back through the cracks and keyholes of the double doors, allowing his queen to prepare in peace.

Leo

Leo felt a little confused. He’d stepped out of thin air, straight from his apartment to Wales, and this girl barely noticed it? Even if she had been miles away as she’d said, that wasn’t the thing that any normal person left unnoticed. Which meant that she must’ve been used to seeing such things, to be able to simply block it out like that.

He sat down on the grass beside her, picking at one blade of it in the awkward silence, “Nice to meet you, by the way."

She nodded, “Same to you, Leo.”

He paused for a moment, then took a deep breath, “You’re not wondering, then? About me just, you know, showing up out of nowhere?”

Sian

She blinked in surprise at the question. "Well, I sort of assumed you had arrived without me noticing..."

It was a really weak excuse, but she wasn't sure if she had seen correctly, and if she hadn't he would surely think she was mad.

"Oh." He said awkwardly "So, you didn't see anything strange? Well, I mean you didn't... I didn't come from nowhere..." he trailed off and looked back down at the grass concentrating intently on the single blade of grass.

She looked closely at him. He obviously wasn't from Wales. Perhaps she could say something and claim it was Welsh if it went wrong.

"This place reminds me of Aetha..."

He looked up at her sharply. "What did you say?"

Sian shrugged, as though the passing mention of Aetha was nothing more than that. "Aetha's just a little town in Wales. It's nice, I've got family there."

Leo looked suspicious, not knowing if she was telling the truth. "Hm. I've been to a place called Aetha before, although I wouldn't really describe it as 'nice'." He gave her a sidelong look, "I guess it must've been named by the Welsh or something, huh?" He shrugged, "Either way, I'd rather not go back there. Although, if the people weren't so nasty, it could be a pleasant little mountain town." He finished, stressing the word mountain. If she was like him, she'd pick up on that easily.

I walked towards Erach who had just appeared a few feet in front of me.

"Hello Erach" I said bowing.

"Do you really have to treat me like that?" Erach asked.

"Yes, and i know you like the attention" I replied smiling.

Erach laughed for a second. Then said "That inconvenience idiot Lestat was here a few minutes ago"

"Ahh Lestat, i haven't seen him in a few days" I said.

"You really shouldn't befriend wraiths like him" hissed Lestat.

"His friendship could be an asset at times" I said sighing.

Lestat and Erach had been enemies for as long as he could remember, the prime reason was because Lestat loved the queen or so i had heard, and Erach, the kings closest adviser did not want the 'affair' to go on. Which as why they were so hostile against each other. I on the other hand knew Lestat for a few decades before becoming one of the King advisers making me the only adviser to the king who could talk to Lestat freely without angering him.

Ahihud

Although i hated going into other worlds it was to be done for my king and friend Liamedes.

"You know, you could have left me behind" I said after we arrived.

"And leave your particular talents unused?" asked Liamedes smiling.

"Just because i cant die yet does not mean that i don't feel pain" I said scratching my eyes after some dust went into them.

I had been caught long ago after i had stolen some golden relics from one of the temples in our land, as a punishment for that i had been sentenced to five decades of torture. Unable, and afraid to withstand the torture i had gone and begged for forgiveness from the last king of the Djinn, who in turn had made a bargain with me, as long as i served the current King and Queen i could live and be reborn each time i die at the palace. In turn i could not ever go against the wished of the King and Queen.

"Do as i say Ahihud , we need you to win this war" said Liamedes as he marched forward.

We managed to ascend over a large hill, once we reached the top, we could clearly see a large city, a city filled with our enemies who were unaware of our coming, I knew this could be easy.

"Mountain?" She picked up on his stressing of the word. Since Aetha didn't exist in Wales, she assumed he was like her.

She decided to ask him straight out. There was no need to be secretive now. "I have only been to Aetha and Vulca. Do you know them?"

He nodded. She was right. "So, what are you doing out here in the middle of Wales and can you get back?"

She held her breath. How he answered this question could be the key to her ticket out of here. She silently prayed to no one that he could take her away from Earth.

He took a deep breath, "First question's easy. The second's a little more...complicated?"

Sian seemedworried by that answer, as if she desperately needed a way to get to a less hospitable world. Sure, it was fun exploring, but he intensely disliked spending too much time among the less-friendly demons, such as Wraiths and Djinn. Even Aquis could become unbearable at times.

"What do you mean, 'complicated'?" She asked.

He shrugged, "Well, firstly an answer to your first question. I'm here in Wales because my gate messed up. My mum never finished training me in magic, and as a result while my elemental conrol is pretty good, my ability to get from one place to another is...erratic. When I open a gate, I don't really know where it's going to go. It could go to any of the worlds, or, as in this case, just another place on Earth."

She seemed to deflate, "Oh."

"Doesn't mean I can't get you to another world, just means I don't know what's on the other side of the gate. I can get a picture of what's happening somewhere, but it's only of the right place about half the time."

Erach

He shook his head with a sigh at the other adviser's words. The youth would never understand exactly what constituted 'useful'. Certainly, an alliance with Lestat had its advantages, but when the boy had seemingly fallen out of favour with the queen, and was more or less a natural enemy of the king, such an alliance had little use to a Wraith who wanted to keep their head squarely on their shoulders. It had even less use to a Wraith as devoted to Aetha as Erach was.

The old Wraith looked to Zire, deciding it was about time to change the subject, "The king is ready for the banquet, then? Is there anything more we two need to attend to before we join him in the hall?"

"Oh. I did it once. I went to Aetha first, then Vulca and then suddenly I was back here. Just like that." She snapped her fingers.

"You seem pretty desperate to get back." he observed.

"There is nothing left for me here. I know there are other worlds out there, and I can't help wondering if maybe there is something for me out there. Everyone I ever loved here is dead now, so I just want to leave. Everything here seems so pointless now." She picked up a small stone and threw it towards the dying sunset.

**Hehe^^ Sorry**

"Well the guested are ready" I said going through my mental list.

"Guards stationed in order, The hall is ready, the Queen seems to be getting ready" I said pointing at the door "So my work is done, and i presume you have done yours excellently as usual, so we should move on. The last thing we need to do is escort the Queen to the banquet where his majesty is waiting"

"Then we should get going" replied Erach as he knocked at the Queens room.

**Lord Anzius, aren't you replying?**

Liamedes:

He looked down at the city. Sometthing was feeling wrong here.
Surely the enemy would anicipat their attack.
He turned to Ahihud "Send a spy. It makes no sense that the enemy would not anticipate the attack, they might not be the brightest of them all but they aren't that stupid."

Ahihud nodded and soon he had selected a spy. The djinn was sent on his way.
They all wached himgo, when the spy was at the gates he fell down, his torso full of arrows.

Liamedes sighed, "I hate it when I'm right."
He turned at his troops "men! A half testudo!!" The djinn pulled up their shields and went into groups of 50. They formed a half turtle. with the back side open.

"Advance.!"

Liamedes:

As his men were closing up at the gates they were met by a storm of arrows. But this had been expected and had been defended against by the shilds. But what had not been anticipated were the mages that accompanied the enemy archers.

Liamedes wasn't happy.

"This isn't going too well now is it Ahihud?"

His advisor didn't answer, there was no need to answer a question this indirect.

"It seems that I must join this battle at this early stage... Unless," He looked at Ahihud.

"Oh please not that something else but not that Liamedes."

"Exactly that."

Ahihud soon found himself with two miners dicking a tunnel bellow enemy lines.

Ahihud

Djinn were not mad to dig tunnels, but at drastic times, drastic actions were taken.

"Keep mining humans!" I commanded as i followed the human slaves who kept digging through the tunnels, they were given some Djinn magic enabling them to work faster than any creature known.

eventually we made it to the place where we were least expected, below the palace exactly. I pulled out a whistle and blew on it, it was a special whistle that only Djinn could hear, it signaled several of my best men to come into the tunnel and come to the end of the tunnel. After a few seconds they arrived, we discussed our plans yet again and stormed through the opening above us. I blew the whistle again, it would signal Liamedes to come with his men in a few moments.

Zire

I examined he great banquet hall and sighted Lestat. I waved at him like a small child and then once he acknowledged seeing me, i turned around and walked to where Erach was.

"We have a angry Lestat on our hands" I whispered to im.

He nodded, i should have guessed that he had already seen Lestat.

"Keep and eye on him" replied Erach and walked towards the king.
