Lestat
======

I needed to see the queen, I missed her and her charms. We shared an indescribable love but she had to marry the king. I walked towards the dark castle while once inside the castle was filled with excitment. I ran up the stairs pass the guards and into the queens room.

"My Queen, you cannot go through with the dinner" He shouted in his brave voice.

"And why should I listen to you, you dont want me to meet my king" She replied,

"The new king will not be of your taste" Lestat said "He isn't very good looking and has a very bad sense of humor"

"I dont care Lestat, he'll be more of a man than you" Elizabeth repiled

Ariel
======

I swam around the cold waters watching the clown and angel fish swimming round my tail. I swam towards the under water kingdom where the queen and her sons slept.

Tami Kalen:

I looked out onto the spires of the castle as I rode up to it on horseback. I was returning from a battle involving some lost Djinn. But they weren't lost anymore... no, they were quite dead. Thankfully there were only a few of them, but any more would have been a disaster. They weren't exactly known for their forgiving nature and one could have slipped away, back to Volca. I took care of these sort of matters personally so my people wouldn't have to worry.

I had returned to my home as soon as I received news of my new husband. I only hoped he had a good heart or I would happily rip it out of his chest if he were to cheat on me, like the other king. Perhaps I was a bit battle-hardened and had been hurt too much, but I felt merciless. I dreaded our betrothal, but there was no reason to love for me. It would only mean more pain.

I rode with my head high and smiled to myself as I entered the castle gates. Even if I returned to fulfill a duty once again, I was happy to be home.

Sepia Damien:

Fire emanated from my Liamedes as he seemed to be in a ill-tempered mood. I blew some ice over to him from my lips, our "cold kiss" to cool him down. It was rather ironic that our battle forms were fire and ice, but we were the perfect king and queen.

We both sat regally upon our thrones, each of us casting an air of superiority throughout our castle. Throughout Vulca we were loved and feared by all, just the way we preferred.

"Do be patient, dear. You've had a long day.", my raspy voice cooed to him.

"My day has only begun. I must wait for my knights to return from battle and then decide for war.", Liamedes announced. I was shocked. The Ferai hadn't been at war within a millenium, but that didn't necessarily mean we were peaceful. I looked over to Ahihud and he nodded gravely. Even though we were set within the serious atmosphere, we could all sense our eagerness and anticipation. This is what we lived for.

Ahihud

I knocked on the door as silence;y as possible careful not to disturb the king Liamedes and queen.

"Come in" came the voice of the Queen.

I entered the room, which was big as expected from the king and Queen.

"The Ferai have killed several of our knights. The surviving knights are awaiting your further orders outside the palace" I replied bowing twice for the Liamedes and .

"Is that so" said Liamedes thinking for a while.

I saw a look of surprise on Sepia's face which was quickly replaced by her normal face.

"Be by my door Ahihud, I will come in a few minutes" said the Liamedes.

"Yes Liamedes " I said bowed yet again and left the room.

"Sepia, do not worry. I will return as soon as I can.", Liamedes reassured me.

"Take me with you. You know together we are the crushing force. We will win.", I told him.

"That we will, but I need you here to guard the kingdom.", he said firmly. I could understand that, but the Ferai were a threat. I felt battle-hungry, but I could not argue. "I shall return as soon as the Ferai are crushed."

He reached out to hold my hand and I did the same. When we touched I turned frozen and he burned wildly. Together, with our fire and ice we felt the searing flame of each element. Pain was our bond, our love. It was the symbol of our strength and power, but as I pulled away I glimpsed something I had never seen on my husband's face- naked fear. Both of us knew this would not be easy.

Liamedes called to Ahihud and started shouting orders to his men. Then he was gone for battle.

Liamedes:

He went with Ahihud to the barracks that surrounded their palace. He turned towards Ahihud, "How are the volcanoes?" He asked.

"The volcanoes are almost dormant." He answered.

Liamedes sighed, "These are dire times indeed." He said. "Gather the knights and spell casters. I want all free officers with me."

"What about the defences?"

Liamedes smiled "My wife is powerful and experienced enough to handle the defences by herself," Liamedes was proud of his wife and wasn't afraid to show it.

Ahihud bowed and turned to his task.

Liamedes himself walked onto a porch, from where he could see every part of the barracks.
The warriors lifted their heads, "Today!" His voice boomed around the barracks.

"Today we leave..." The eyes of the Djinn were all watching him as he continued, "We go to battle the Ferai! Those creatures that have been sent to the battlefield by screaming infants and lazy rich men!"
He watched across the ranks before he continued, "It is true that the volcanoes are asleep! It is true that our enemies are strong! But remember, I will stand by your side! Let not your courage betray you, but do not let your courage blind your rationality either! The volcanoes sleep, but let us wake them up by our battle cries! Let us show the Ferai what were made of! Let! Blood! Spill!" The ranks of the Djinn hoorayed.
"When this war ends, we shall be drinking the finest of wine from the skulls of our enemies. But for now! Now my men turn your heads towards the horizon and leave no cursed Ferai ALIVE!"

Many soldiers were bustling about and shouting orders to others of lower ranking. When I rode up, an officer quickly appeared from the midst of the chaos. I stopped my stallion and listened to his reports.

"Queen Kalen, some of the Djinn escaped our battle. They returned wounded to Volca and told them of their defeat. I fear we are at war.", the officer said grimly. I stared at him, my mouth agape. How could this be? I quickly composed my face and answered.

"Call all our men and secure the borders of our land. We need our people safe.", I stated firmly.

"But Queen Kalen, shouldn't we play offense rather than defense?", the officer questioned.

"We do not have the resources for such a journey. Besides,",I looked out to my castle and all the little homes surrounding it. "We know how the Djinn move. Let us allow them to strike first." The officer bowed and scurried off to shout my orders.

Now I knew having a king was a priority, because war was something no one can do alone.

**Hey guys where are all of you??**

Ahihud

"A re you sure we should be doing this Liamedes?" I asked wearily as I followed him, the army close behind us.

"What are you suggesting Ahihid?" Liamedes asked.

"The Ferai and the Djinn have lived in.... peace for centuries" i I said.

"Are you suggesting peace?" Asked Liamedes turning towards me and looking me straight in the ayes.

"No, no I'm merely suggesting us to forge a valid reason to attack before attacking," i stammered out an answer.

The king stopped and thought for a while as i awaited his answer.

Liamedes:

He thought about it. "Well their nobility did kill some of my finest men." He said eventually.
He turned aback to the marching men "Besides, peace stays for only so long. And tthe time of this peace has retired long ago."

"Now chin up and be ready for the travel."

Ahihud grimaced, "This is the part I hate." He said

"As do we all." And then they vanished to another world

Sian

It was just another sunset on Earth. Earth. Sian rolled her eyes in disgust. She had been born here, in Wales, but the world seemed so small and pointless now. She had seen Aetha and Vulca and she knew there were more.

She had been sat on the hillside since midday and had seen nobody. Sian sighed, sunsets were beautiful but nothing compared to the endless burning desert of Vulca.

"Boring!" she shouted "Boring and pointless, yeah, that just about sums it up. My life, Earth, boring and pointless!"

Erach

"I don't care, Lestat, he'll be more of a man than you!" The Wraith could hear his queen's infuriated shout even through the heavy wooden doors. Releasing his concentration, Erach felt his physical form dissolve away, leaving him as little more than wisps of smoke and dust, held together by only his will.

He passed through the door with little more than a thought. Once on the other side, he moved most of the way to a solid form, although he still seemed to move back and forth a little in the breeze. He coughed, startling the two younger Wraiths out of their argument.

"My queen, you're late for the banquet. Is anything wrong?" He asked, his voice little more than a whispering hiss, his eyes drifting to Lestat for a moment."

Leo

The air in the room before him blurred, shifting a little to display a blurry picture of the place that he had connected to, what appeared to be green grass and a sunset lying beyond the curtain of shimmering air. Of course, with his bare control, the window could be faltering, showing a completely different place to where the gate left. With a deep breath, he stepped through.

The transition was never pleasant, and he got a sick feeling of vertigo in his stomach as he was thrown between his house and his destination.

He blinked a few times, then looked around, surprised to see that his window had been working just fine. It was the gate that was wrong, unless there was a world that looked incredibly similar to Earth. He looked to either side of him, seeing a girl sitting there, watching him.

Damn, I never planned for something like this... He thought, before raising one hand, "Umm, hi. I'm Leo."

Sian

Sian blinked. He had appeared from nowhere. Perhaps he's a... No, he can't be. There was no chance. Ever since she had been to Vulca and Aetha she hadn't been able to get back again. Perhaps this man, could help her get back to...

"Ummm, hi?" he repeated.

She shook her head. "Sorry, I was miles away. I'm Sian" She stood up.

"Hi, Sian, interesting name..." he said slowly.

"It's Welsh." She cut him short. Living in England meant that she was always being asked about it, now it was a natural reflex.

There was a long pause. She sat down again, then motioned for him to join her.
