****Um, Pippa isn't stuck up, and she also wouldn't be scared of a dog. But I'll go with this post.****

Pippa:

Pippa looked at the grungy thing it didn't look like a dog. "NO!" She growled. "None of the animals stay inside because there is enough to clean without them making a mess too."

"He wouldn't make a mess." The girl replied.

"He is a mess, doesn't even look like a dog! It needs a bath." She replied crossing her arms.

Tyrel:

Tyrel smiled a little. Pippa was still mad at him, that was the only time she ever stuck her nose up. He shook his head looking at Adrianne who was standing behind Pippa with a smile on her face.

"While y'all argue this out. Adrianne and me have chores in the barn." He said.
"And you wonder why we don't like you!" -Trumpkin

***Thanks.***

Adrianne

I tried to bite back laughter at Pippa. She was such a doll; cute and fiesty. I liked that.

"Shall we?" I gestured to the barn, already stepping off the porch and striding across the yard. "I want to try and catch one of those mares now. We need to start training them while we have a head start."

***Sorry! I figured that Pippa would still be kinda grumpy at Tyrel. My bad. ***

Jade:

She sighed and decided to drop the issue.
"Alright," Jade said. "I'll make him stay outside." She looked over at Tyrel who was already walking off.
"So do I have a job?" she called out.

Tyrel:

"Yes, talk to Pippa bout what you'll do." He called back to Jade. He could feel Pippa glaring at him. She needed to be mad for a little while. He just felt sorry for Jade and Matt. "We'll see if we can pull two of the mare's out. YOu pick which one you want to work with. We'll see how many of them we can train in the shortest time, but turning out good horses. There are some horses in there that would be good to breed. The stallion is a good one too. But he'll be hell to get."

Jade:

Jade stood awkwardly on the porch. She glanced over at Matt. She wondered what he was doing here.
"So, where do you want me?" she asked Pippa. "I can do pretty much of anything outside."

Jack

He was almost sad to have to have to leave now, he’d just been settling in, he’d made some new friends, and he’d thought he was going to be able to lie low here for a while.

But now he’d messed up everything, and all because he’d wanted to protect someone he only thought was innocent from a woman he’d really fancied. Well, I think it’s fair to say that it couldn’t possibly get much worse than this. Not unless Bethany shows up sooner than I’m expecting her to.

He found Billy without to much trouble, the other man was still watching Tyrell’s cattle, “Where’ve you been?” he asked, “I say I’ll cover for you for a little while and I find out you’ve gone off into town with some lady?” He laughed.

Jack shook his head, “We’ve got to leave, that lady…she’s out for your blood.”

They both looked to the road for a moment, “Well, we’d better leave soon, then.” Billy said, “Because that’s probably her heading our way now.” They turned their horses and rode back to the house.
He had decided to live forever or die in the attempt. - Yossarian, Catch-22

*So, I don't know where to fit Sadie in, so I'll just do something.*

Sadie Byrne~

Sadie whistled under her breath. "Boy, if I weren't an outlaw myself, I'd be headin' to claim myself that bounty." Sadie patted her horse, Comanche's, neck. He snorted, pinning his ears. She'd caught him two weeks ago, and he was barely broke. I had been quite the struggle to get on his back, but the stallion allowed her to ride him.

Her previous horse had died, shot by indians. Apparently they figured that she was too close to their 'land'. She remebered calling to the skies: "No woman... or man has claim this land yet!"

She ripped off the posted and tore it between her gloved hands. The desolate town had barely a soul in sight, except for the drunken man stumbling across the road, a tumbleweed, and a saloon girl standing outside the saloon for a smoke.

The Sheriff's office seemed to be dead, too. Sadie nudged Comanche's sides. He shot forward, into a trot. "Stupid horse," she grunted, tugging at the reins to slow him down. He threw his head up, but calmed his gait into a jolty walk. Sadie switched the reins into her left hand and walked by the saloon girl. "Any idea where the folks are?"

The saloon girl barely looked at her. "The men left for war. They all died. And as for the women? They decided to find themselves a new life in a more populated town," she spat the words at Sadie. Sadie resisted the urge to shoot her head off. Her right had flinched for her gun, but she rested it back on her thigh.

Sadie trotted away, without a thanks. She hated people who thought themselves high-and-mighty. Sadie headed for the amunition store. It was high time she got some. Ran out of the ammunition last night trying to shoot a turkey for dinner. She dismounted in front of the store, and ground-tied Comanche.

She hopped up onto the porch. She immediately noticed her picture. She tore the poster down. She was supposed to be arrested for resisting arrest and killing a few too many men. It wasn't her fault, though. She just couldn't help herself. They antognized her.

*really sorry ive been away for so long. so many little distractions and before i know it four pages have gone by and, depsite the varied and many mentions of Billy Cook there was no post of him. Again sorry. I'll try something but i'm still trying to understand whats happened so bare with me if there are some mistakes or anything*

Billy Cook

"Holy damn, out for blood? How bad had her date with you been?" I chuckled as we sped back towards the farmhouse.
"Billy, please, with all respect, shut up," the look Jack gave me was so sobering I could feel my blood chilling as soon as I saw it. This was serious. "She's coming here looking for you, so we need to go now."
"I know, you've already said that" I replied with a level of irritability that I thought was fitting for someone in my position.

As we neared the farmhouse I could just make out Pippa guiding a boy and girl inside. A large dog tried to follow them in but Pippa slammed the dog on it as soon as the boy and girl were inside. My heart went out to the poor dog, left out alone. Sure Jack wanted to help me with this bounty hunter, but love always seems to have a way of controlling a man, despite his best intentions, and that worried me. I tried to push the thought to the back of my mind as we turned away from the farmhouse and down a narrow dust track, a different one to the one we had arrived here on, and quickened our pace with a sharp jab in our horses' sides.
"This is my plan of attack"

"Hmmm, looks more like a pin to me"

"No, it's definitely a tac"

Jade:

Jade was guided to her room by Pippa and she plopped her bag down onto her bed. She'd seen Jack speed by with another man, whom she was assuming was Billy Cook. She secretly hoped he would get away. She'd been in that position more than once.

Jade glanced around the room. There were two beds in the room, one which was rumpled and unmade, and the other was nicely made. She guessed that it was hers and set her bag down on top of it. She would try to smuggle Grant up here later. Jade spotted a vanity in the corner, and on west wall was a window. When the sun set, she knew she would get plenty of light. She strolled over and saw cattle grazing in a pasture. She also saw BJ galloping up the road.

"Oh no," she muttered. She turned and sprinted down the stairs, wondering what the outcome of the situation would be.

Okay. So Vet4life13 gave me some advice. I shall meet people at that farm! (Forget the name, sorry.) So, my character will soon be barging into the property.

Sadie Byrne~

She pushed open the door to the shop, pieces of paper fluttering down behind her ankles. She had just enough time to grab some amunition. She placed the box down on the counter, and reached into her pouch to produce the money.

The man looked skeptically at her, scrutinizing every inch of her face, and her. She raised her eyebrow. "Hey!" He jumped back. "You're that female outlaw!"

"I have a name!" she snorted, pulling her bandana up over her nose as the man backed away and grabbed his shotgun. "I doubt you're any good, anyways!" He scoffed, loading the barrel of the gun. "I wouldn't say that..." Sadie's voice trailed off as she looked out the screen door. The saloon girl was long gone, and the drunk man was slumped over against a water trough, passed out.

Sadie quickly grabbed the bullets and swung her gun around her finger. One shot, that's all she had. Before the man could even let his quivering hand touch the trigger, Sadie had shot a hole straight into his forehead, and she was scurrying out the door. She turned on her heel, and entered again, loading herself with bullets and guns. She heard footsteps up there. "What in Hell are you up to, old man!" A gruff male voice asked. Boots stomped down the stairs. Sadie had her hand on her gun, no bullets loaded yet.

A young boy peeked her head under his jaw dropping when he saw Sadie standing there. Sadie hurried out the door. Who knows how many friends were still around. She hear him yelling ouside his window. "Its that Byrne girl! The Byrne girl!" He was yelling.

Sadie hopped on Comanche, spurring his sides. She galloped his out of the desolate town, never moving until Comanche and her were safe out of sight. But the sun was just beginning to set, and who knows how long it was before they caught up to her. Sadie hurried down the drive of a beaten-up farm. She saw the farmhouse in the distance. She hopped off and untacked Comanche, leaving only his bridle on. Then she snuck around the property, and hid in some hay that was still growing the the field. Comanche snuffled around and began munching rythmically. She didn't feeling like killing no more.

She is at the farm. I repeat: she is at the farm. So, yah. Sorry its long.

I was already climbing over the corral wall when Tyrel entered the barn. I had already dropped a soft saddle, hackamore bridle, and lead line over the fence. Now, the fun part. Catching the right horses; I knew Tyrel would want to use the better looking mares for breeding, but we also needed the better quality to use to ride...maybe we could go half and half with both...?

I walked into the middle of the corral, looking around me. A chestnut paint... A dark bay... A red roan... And the stallion. That big, stocky, black paint stud...

I walked up to the chestnut paint first, letting her greet me and learn I wasn't going to hurt her; then I looped a long lead line around her neck. Tyrel reached the fence, then.

"Hey, Tyrel," I called. "Can you close the barn up for me? I'm going to try and get a few of these horses into the stalls; we can save those for riding, the rest up for debate. I'm going to go ahead and get the stallion while I'm at it...if I can..." I groaned at the thought of my plans backfiring with him...

Jade:

When Jade reached the porch, she saw the BJ was not the only one coming to the ranch. A cloud of dust was rising behind the farmhouse. She ran around the house to check it out. As she turned the corner, she placed her hand on her six-shooter and braced herself. A horse was out in a field, contentedly chewing hay. She crept up cautiosly. The fact that she couldn't see anyone worried her.

She reached the field and crept in, waiting for someone to jump out at her. Jade took out her gun and began approaching the horse.
