Sadie Byrne~

She saw the girl, cautiously approaching, her gun in hand. Sadie quickly lay her stomach flat on the ground, threw her hat down beside her, and pulled her hair back into a harsh bun. She knew that when she had it pulled back so tight, she looked much older than her time. But the girl was not staring at her, but at Comanche. Comanche saw her, his eyes surveying her every move. And slowy, as she crept closer, Comanche's head raised.

Then he bolted. He began bucking and rearing, throwing his head high. He was kicking his heels with joy as he galloped circles around her. But Sadie put on a mask of fear, and rose herself from the grass. She still hadn't loaded her gun, so she rose with her hands over her head. She let fake tears stream down her place. Please don't recognize me, please don't recognize me! Sadie prayed as the girl's hand fumbled with her gun. "Please... d-don't hurt me!" Sadie broke down into tears, hoping this fake act would fool the girl. Comanche had stopped running, and was now snuffling her hat that lay in the hay. Her hat....

Jade:

Startled, Jade hastily pulled out her gun and held it steady at the sobbing woman in front of her. She looked to be an older woman, and with tears running down her face, she looked to be as far from dangerous as a person could be. But there was something about her that seemed oddly familiar, and in Jade's situation, that usually wasn't a good thing.

"Stand up," she said. The woman staggered to her feet. It was then that Jade noticed the horse snuffling at a hat in the grass. A hat that a woman like her shouldn't be wearing.

"All right," she said, "You can cut the sob act. I don't know who you are, but the fact that your in disguise makes you more dangerous than you seem."

Sadie Byrne~

Her heart thudded, adrenaline began pulsing through her veins. This was it. But, before she took her hands away from her tear-stained face, she smiled-- a malicious smile. Sadie always carried a gun and a knife, and her lasso. But the thing was, a knife against a gun was nothing. And to tie her was out of the question.

Sadie let out a low whistle. "I'm not in disguise," She grinned, "but just wearing my hair back today." Suddenly, Comanche was barelling towards the girl. Her trembling hand held the gun steady at Sadie's face. "Call him off, or I'll kill you!" Her voice rose.

Sadie shrugged. "Come here, boy," She said. The horse trotted towards her. Sadie grabbed its mane and hoisted herself up. She nudged the horse's sides. Please don't shoot! she thought as her back was turned towards the girl. There was a 50/50 percent chance she'd be killed. Would she be on the 50% side that she would live?

Jade:

She hesitated; it was obvious that this girl was up to no good, but she had no right to kill her. Suddenly, she knew where she'd seen this girl. On a wanted poster at the Sheriff's office.

"Hey Byrne!" she called, thinking fast. "The bounty on your head is even bigger than mine. There's a bounty hunter within calling distance of me, and if you don't stop, she will track you down and turn you in. Now turn your horse around and get back here. I got a deal to make you."

**Sorry I've been gone so long!**

Bethany reached the ranch at full gallop and sharply pulled on the reins. Phantom skidded to a halt as Bethany jumped off. She ripped the shotgun from its holster on the saddle and stormed up to the houses' front door, angrily shoving the tears from her eyes. Never again will I fall for a stupid outlaw! Never ever!! She knocked loudly and shouted, "Hey! Billy Cook, come out here and show your sorry face, unless you want me to come in there and force you out, you sorry son of a--"

The door was ripped open by an angry looking girl. "Why are you shouting in front of my house?"

"Where's Billy Cook? I know you're hiding him!"

Just what she'd been waiting to hear. Sadie let the smile curl the edges of her lips. She reined in Comanche. She'd had just enough time to load the gun as she was galloping away. She held it steady, right at the girl's head.

"What deal might that be? If you plan on calling one of your little friends, forget it! I could shoot you faster than you can run, or yell, or duck. You'll be dead and gone by the time they even hear your scream, and I will be long gone."

Adriane

It took a few trips to pull the mares out of the corral and to board them in the barn. It took another few trips to run the remaining mares into a separate corral. And the stallion...

The fun part. I opened a lasso out, holding it in my hand. I had already tied one end to a post in the center of the corral. "Easy boy...easy..." I cooed, slowly approaching him. Remember what to do. Be gentle. Don't break him. Gentle him. Go easy. Easy.

Pippa:

Pippa crossed her arms. "Listen up. I don't care who the hell is on my property. But you sure as anything don't need to come running up to my door and yelling like a maniac. I really couldn't tell you if Billy Cook was here or not. No you either act civilized or you get the ehll off my propert."

Jade:

Shoot she thought. She tried not to let the surprise register on her face.
"Maybe I will call one of my 'little friends'", she said, "But maybe there is somethin' in it for you." She paused a moment to let Byrne think about it. The outlaw sighed impatiently.

"You've got ten seconds," she said. Jade decided to nix any further pauses.

"What if you could collect your own bounty?" Jade suggested. "I'm short on money, and I'm sure you're not exactly rollin' in the dough either. Let me turn you in, grab the reward money, then bust you out. We'd split the cash fifty-fifty."

She saw Bryne's eyebrow raise, and braced herself.

Sadie Byrne~

She scoffed. "Yeah, that's a great plan! Turn myself in, and let you"-- she motioned to the girl-- "bust me out. You're practically a child!"

She did a turn-on-the-haunches and was about to spur Comanche's sides when the girl called out. "But I am more capable than you think! I could bust you out in no time!"

Sadie sighed. "I don't fall for these sorts of things, but lets see what you've got. Horsemanship, roping, pistols... I want to ensure that you are capable of breaking me out!"

Jade:

Ok, all she needed to do was prove her "capableness" and she would have all the money she needed. Sadie's back was turned toward her. If only she could prove that her aim was good enough, maybe Byrne would trust her enough to let her bust her out of jail.

Quick as lighting, she whipped out her pistol and shot off Byrne's hat. Her horse reared in fright, and after Sadie got the horse calmed down, she turned and faced Jade with an furious look on her face.

"What the heck are you tryin' to do?" she asked, plainly furious that Jade had shot a hole through her hat. Jade replied, "I'm showin' you how good my aim is. I'm not nearly as much of a child as you think I am." Sadie glared at her with her suspicious grey eyes.

Ray Shadow:

Ray approached the farm on his jet-black stallion with an air of superiority. He'd heard from local rumors that more than one outlaw was hiding out here. If he wasn't mistaken, Cook, Stanley and Myles were out here, and a woman named Byrne had been seen riding out here earlier today. With all those bounties, he'd probably be set for quite a while. It was a pretty sweet little deal, except for one crucial element. Another bounty hunter was here.

Look. I know I practically begged to get in here (sorta, I think) but I have to leave. :(

Sorry guys! I wish I could stay. I know I barely posted, yes, yes, sorry. Really, I am. But I give full permission to anyone to use Sadie. She's all yours! Kill her, make her a hero... I don't care! XD

Thanks though, for letting me join. Sorry I have to leave.

Jade:

Jade glanced behind her to see who it was that Byrne saw. There, just approaching the ranch, was a large man on a black horse. Whoever it was, he was too big to trust right away.
"Ok, Byrne, forget the deal. I'm out of here." Jade began walking toward the ranch. "If you need a place to stay, the barn's always open. Just don't let Tyrel see ya." Jade secretly hoped she might corner her in there. As she walked away, she cringed inwardly, hoping Byrne wouldn't stop her.

Ray:

He approached the house and tethered his horse. Then, he began walking to the porch. There stood a woman, obviously frazzled, and a young teenager in the house, apparently not enjoying their current conversation. He walked up and tipped his hat.

"Hello, ladies," he said. They stopped talking and glared at him coldly. "I hate to interrupt, but I'm lookin' fer several people. You seen 'em?" He held up the four wanted posters he'd aquired, placing Cook's first; his was the biggest bounty, after all. The younger girl gave him a look of incredulity, and the woman became suddenly hostile.

***We'll just let Sadie be played by anyone who is talking to her. Or, if you want to, someone can just claim her.***
