"yes..Do you no of it?" she said in an excited tone of voice.

"yes I'm heading I'm heading there now" he said weary of what my happen.

He could see the sun poking though the trees and pulled out of sunglasses.

"Um...nice glasses but isn't it a bit cold for them" she said in a strange way.

He laughed, well more of a chuckle. I would have laughed if I knew what was so funny.

"Want me to take you to it?" He asked.

I looked around. "I don't exactly have much of a choice do I?" I asked.

"Well," he looked around in the snow. "Unless you want to wait a long time for someone else be my guest."

"No, I'll come with you." I jumped right to it. Me and my big mouth

I stared around. "Are you sure this is it?" I asked.

"Positive." He said.

I looked at him. "Quite a place." I said.

He laughed. "I thought so."

Jordan takes her into the quite yet busy castle. He knew that Raven was his mother but who was his father.

"Welcome home Jordon" said a busy vampire who was rushing around with a cup of tea and crumpets.

"umm..Thankyou" he says to the women he had never met.

*Not sure what's going on with your storyline im afriad, but im gonna try and keep mine going*

Shakain

It was nearing noon and as the midday sun watched our ever slower journey towards the mountains I questioned again why I had rushed off so quickly, without really formulating a proper plan. It was a completely different way of living than my normal routine and I was all ready feelng the burn (literally).
But no matter how much the sun annoyed me I knew it would be annoying Genima even more. She was a strong vampire, but even she was affected by the sun. I regretted bringing her now. I now had someone else to worry about and she seemed to be beginning to suffer. For the first time since back when Alex and I first met, I pitied a vampire...heck I was amazed I felt anything for a vampire at all.
I've really changed over the years, I thought. I'd once been proud, head strong and didn't care a thing for the creatures I hunted; 'cause that's all they were to me back then, creatures. It really was extraordinary how quick you matured in this line of work. After only eight years in this...profession and already I'd turned from proud and head strong to bitter and doubtful. And I was worrying about vampires. Something I thought I'd never do...

Finally we came across something which took our minds off our troubles - my past and Genima's pain - but soon I'm sure we both wished we hadn't.
We had found the Lycan camp that the vampires had ravaged just last night. It was just off the main road we had been following down a side road and it was really only by chance we found it. We had come to a point where the road we had been following started to curve away from the mountains towards the large local town - somewhere that way there's probably Derek's family, blissfully unaware of what has befallen their dear husband/father I thought - and we had had to switch to a smaller road which woud its way in the opposite direction. Our direction. The first time we had to change road and we found this. They'd really gone to town on this place. It was disgusting.
Everywhere you could see the smoldering remains of cloth tents and dotted in between, the remains of Lycans. Some were simply lifeless, bloodless cases, but some - obviously more serious enemies of the vamps - lay over a much wider radius: they had been ripped to shreads. The grass under foot was all stained red and we didn't dare wander too far in. It really was horrific for vampires though. Vamps in these parts obviously didn't have the class other vampires I'd dealt with had then...or maybe they had been on a feeding frenzy before coming here. Whatever the reason they'd certainly not done a half-arsed job of it. The decimation spread for at least a mile - the whole camp had been consumed in the vampires rage.
As we turned to leave, shaking our heads in amazement and disgust, we even noticed what the other vampires must have considered a finishing touch which we had missed, in our shock, when we entered.
A spear had been planted in the ground and, in an almost cliched move, the decapitated head of a Lycan had been planted on the top of it so that it looked like some lifeless, bodyless scout who would have to stare out at his destroyed camp for all eternity.
I felt so sorry for the poor Lycan - I had no quarrel with Lycans or I would not have become a vampire hunter, I'd have become a Lycan one - but I still couldn't bring myself to pluck him from his post and place his head to rest somewhere more...dignified.

But I couldn't. So after this short, internal tussle we were back on the road heading ever closer to the mountains; they were becoming ominous now - towering over us like giant guardians...or more like omens of death I thought. Whatever they looked like they were certainly getting closer.
And I started thinking about what I might have to do when we got there. Would I have to act worse than those vampires had? I hoped not, but Mikael was evil and I suspected I would have to fight dirtied than him to win this bout. That's the way things had always been and, unlike seemingly everything else, Mikael never changed. His father hadn't and look where that had got him, I thought.
But I had changed, and I didn't think I could bring myself to do that to Mikael now. Yet a small part of me still yearned for blood and was already planning gruesome ways to finally finish Mikael. Had I matured as much as I thought I had?

Mikael

Damn it where was he? For nearly 2 days now i had been waiting for him. What use was a nemesis if he was never on time? Still soon it would be over and i could pluck the stone from his cold dead fingers, follow it to the sword and take my birth right. That or die trying. No i musn't think like that i've been training for this his whole life. Still back to the training, i thought, before lifting a boulder and mentally an physically hurling as hard as i could in to the wall splintering into hundreds of sharp fragments which i then ducked and dived to avoid. After a few more throws, i returning to a grueling series of sword an gun drills before cleaning my equipment and heading down to the little hamlet at the base of the mountain for a snack.

I reached the hamlet and was shocked by what i saw. People filled the streets carrying torches and pitchforks. At first i thought they were on to me but as i searched around with my mind i quickly discovered they were about to burn a young lady at the stake for killing a preist. Unfortunately i couldn't allow that as it was i who had killed that pitiful excuse for a clergyman.

Rounding the corner i saw the girl in the middle of a ring of tourch weilding drunkards. I drew 2 small knives from my bag and tossed them into the two nearest torch weilders who fell as if drunk onto the ground. Before the other two could react i dashed up onto the podium grabbed the unfortunate young lady and was gone before anyone even saw me move.

"Who .. who are you?" she managed to breath before i bit her being careful not to kill her before feeding her my own blood. "what .. what are you doing?" she gurgled
"when the time comes you'll find me on the mountain" i said and with that she died and i dissapeared after moving her slightly up the mountain near to a spring where deer drank.

It was getting late in the day when we finally reached the foot of the mountains. Or perhaps the sheer might of the mountains had simply blocked out the sun (looking up at these things it wasn't all that hard to believe that second theory). Whatever the reason, it was definitely night when we set up camp in a small, flat grassy patch about a third up the mountain.

My eyes shot open. Had I heard something on the mountain-side or was I still dreaming? I shifted onto my side and felt reassured that I wasn't hallucinating when I saw Genima was also alert and awake. We had company. A sudden chill ran through me. What if Mikael had already turned the girl?
I carefully rolled out of my make-shift bed and into a crouch where I felt by my side to check my pistol was still there. I felt some warmth return to my body when I felt the familiar feel of cold metal against my fingertips. Whether it was the girl or not, if she attacked us I'd still have to use that.
A voice in my ear almost made me jump out of my skin.
"Can you see it?" How could she move so fast? And so quietly? I was sure Genima had only just been in "bed" and now she was by my side, ready to fight.
"No" I breathed back.
"She's only on the other side of the clearing. Just between those trees" she indicated the ones, but I still could only make out a vague figure. She seemed reluctant to come any further, like she was a wounded animal or a beaten child.
Then I realised what I'd just thought: She. What if it was Danie? Any warmth I'd got from the support of weaponary was flushed out of me at that point.

It was obvious, whoever she was, that she knew we were there. So we made our way straight across the clearing towards her (no point hiding eh?). As we got close enough for me to make out more detailed features she wimpered and withdrew further into the foliage. I still hadn't seen if it was Danie or not, but I had seen the glint of fangs and blood dripping from an open mouth. And she'd seemed to be crying. It didn't take much to figure out this was Mikael's doing.
We advanced more slowly now, not wanting to scare her away; we needed as much information as we could possibly get if we were to find Mikael's hiding place.
I didn't dare breath as we closed the gap between us. We were now within arms reach of the poor girl and Genima tried reaching out to her tentively - one vampire to another. The second her hand made contact with the girls shoulder though the girl gave out a shreak which could have shattered glass and spun 180 degrees before fleeing through the woods. Immediately Genima and I we were up and after her, ducking under branches and hurdling over decaying tree stumps in our pursuit.

It seemed this girl had endless endurance, but we would not give up. We eventually chased her out onto a racky platform. To one side of us was a small spring and lying next to it a dead deer with what looked like bite marks in its side. To the other side was a sheer drop down the mountain side.
At first we thought we'd lost the girl, but then we saw her crouching down by the deer, her slender fingers picking away at the flesh around its wounds. Well that explained the blood in her mouth, but what reason could Mikael possibly have for turning this poor girl before abandoning her in the wild? It made no sense yet, but I had high hopes that we would soon meet again and then I could ask him, before ending his miserable after-life.

Once again we both advanced slowly and, we hoped quietly, towards the little savage, but she accidentally flicked a small piece of meat out of one of the wounds which fell at my feet. She cautiously extended and arm to pick it up before realising that it lay on something. She slowly looked up at me, her eyes wide with terror, like a junkie with withdrawal symptoms. The moonlight shone off her pale, sweaty face and her silver hair and I was almsot relieved to see that it wasn't Danie. So Mikael had ruined another innocent persons life in this crusade had he? That scum.
As our eyes connected, there was a strange, supernatural silence before the girl gave another unearthly squeal and took off again. I tried to grab at her as she fled but I caught nothing as was left flailing as my face fell into the dirt. When I looked up again it was like the girl had disappeared, but I could still hear the tormented soul's screams of fear. I turned to Genima for some kind of confirmation and her face had a grave look on it that was made all the more menacing by the moonlight. I turned back to where I'd seen the girl running away. Then I saw it: the rock face. There was a sudden, distant crunch and the screaming stopped. I shuffled over to the edge and, increasingly nervous about what I might see, looked over the edge.
My worst fears were confirmed when I saw a group of small red patches scattered across the mountain-side below us. The drop off this rock face was huge, but in her terror the girl must not have seen and probably careened straight over the edge before her brain even aknowledged what was happening. The ground suddenly disappearing friom under feet without warning then the fall. The seemingly endless drop down, down, down then nothing. Just another grisly find for some poor men on their hunting trip.
For an age I stood there staring down, both disgusted and amazed by the sight, but eventually I turned back to Genima who didn't look as horrified as I'd have thought she should have been. Instead she just looked intrigued.
"Aren't you....?" I started.
"Look," she interrupted, pointing to a small dirt path winding further up the mountain, "Maybe we're closer than we think".

At the end of the path was what looked like a rock wall, but Genima yet again was more observant than me when she pointed out what was at the top of the rock wall: the opening to a cave.
"Ready for some rock-climbing?" she asked as she searched for a foot-hold on the wall.
