He stared back at the person a wry smile on his face, "Doesn't is seem ironically hilarious to you?"

She didn't answer and he laughed again, "No, maybe not to you."

He turned and looked at her slowly, "What brings a lovely lass such as yourself to this wonderfully ironic situation and which side has the chocolate cookies for you?"

It sounded like gibberish, but surely the girl would understand. He stood straight waiting for an answer a smile on his face.

(Lol, get it? The dark side has cookies . .. so he's asking which side she belongs to.)

He frowned a little at Adron. He didn't seem too friendly. Maybe something to do with that whole business about his cousin being persuasive...it wouldn't take much to...

Dante's mind pulled back, No! Can't do that!

He smiled, "I'm up here often enough, and I can tell you the cemetary's still there." He turned and began to walk in the direction Lucky had pointed, calling over his shoulder, "Though I can't imagine how on earth you intend to bury something there, it's fairly overgrown now."

I looked at him and answered, "Both...depends"

"Oh really?" He asked me, smiling.

"Yes, is that so hard to believe?" I asked, while crossing my arms over my chest.

~Bartholomew Charne~

The kiss felt like an eternity. I watched as Slade walked out to feed her horse. I love the way her skirt swayed as she walked. It made her seem.....girly? No, more than that. She started to run back to the house. The horse was soon behind her. She dropped her pail and screamed running faster. She jumped on me and the door automatically shut after her. She burst into laughter.

"What happend?" After I asked her this she laughed harder.

"I was feeding the horse and it nudged-it nudged the bucket-bucket so I slammed the pail on its head and-and it started chasing me," Slade said, pausing for laughter moments. She held me tight when she wasn't laughing, but when she was laughing she would loosen her grip. Finally, she laughed so hard she let go and fell to the ground. I was able to get up. I looked at her. She looked pitiful, her hair strewn across the floor, her legs dangling in the air, and her dress showing her bloomers. I laughed at the sight of them. They were pink. :D :D :D

~Corinna~

I threw the thing, that was disguised as Kipper, into the cold hard dungeon. I heard her, it, start to laugh. It was a grown up male laughter that surged through her vocal chords. It sounded like Evil when he was young. I thrust open the door and ran at Caterine. I pinned her against the wall. I felt the beads of sweat start to roll down my face, or was it beads of blood?

"Why are you doing this to her? Why!" I screamed at the thing. I only heard more laughter. Then came the response.

"I'm not doing this to her. She is doing this to herself. You honestly think that I would do this to a poor innocent girl? Especially this young?" This was followed by more laughter.

"You would if she was of your blood, or your daughter!" I spat the words at him. He laughed more.

"Your right, my darling! I will let her destroy herself! You will pay, Genivee Uweing. You will pay." After these words fell out of Caterine's mouth, there was a hissing sound and a black cloud bursted out of Kipper. She fell against the stone wall. The sweat was dripping from her hair. She stayed against the wall crying. She looked older. Way older. She looked of about twelve years of age. I gasped at this sight.

"BARTY! Barty...where are you? I can't see!" the young girl screamed. I grabbed her shoulders and yanked her around. She screamed and placed her hands on my blood drenched face. I had forgotten about tonight. There was no moon. I looked at Caterine's eyes. They were faded from there usual brown color. She felt my face again, running her fingers across my nose and mouth. She pulled me foward and embraced me.

"What took you so long, Corinna. Why did you let him keep me for so long?" I sighed at her comment. It was coming together now. He made her blind and took her youth from her. At twelve she was going to be serious and not play around anymore. I stopped my thinking to remeber what he had called me, Genivee Uweing. Why did he call me this? Was that my real name? Or was he playing tricks on my mind again? I held the young girl closer to me. I wondered what Bartholomew would say.

**[luaghs hysterically] pink bloomers? Taylor.... are you serious?**

Slade

I rolled on the floor, laughing my head off and saw that Bartholomew had joined in, but I was pretty sure he was laughing at me, not what had happened with the horse.

"Okay... I'm done" I announced, I bit my lip so I could hold back the giggles but that hardly worked.

~Caterine Kipper Charne~

I was hurt, bad. I couldn't see anything. I was blind. Corinna's breath was uneven and fast. I knew about her problems, but this was different. This wasn't about her problems.

"Come on, Kippy Cat," Corinna said. I smiled walking to the door. I didn't stumble because I could feel the vibrations and sence my surroundings. I walked clearly and I could feel her amazement.

"Are we going to the fields?" I asked, hoping for a yes. I felt her nod her head.

"Yes, we need to make sure that you have abilities. If you have the same ones that you used to when you were-younger, then we can't take you back to Bartholomew. You are to keep your true identity to yourself. Do you understand me? From this point onward, your name shall be-" I felt her shift. She was going to give me the name that she heard someone named Evil say to her. I could hear it in her mind.

"Your name is Genivee Uweing. You goby the nick-name......Gennings. Is that okay with you?" I nodded my head. I couldn't disobey her. I didn't want to scare Barty. She grabbed my hand and lead me out to the cliff. I could feel the waves rub against the rocks. I could hear an oversized creature underneath the water.

"Can you tell me where you are?"

"At the cliff. The waves are very calm today. There is no fish out today, for they are scared of being feasted upon during the daylight. They will come out and swim when the Sea Dragon is asleep," I answered. I heard her jaw pop as it went down.

"I know. Weird, isn't it? Apparently I can read minds and my four sences are stronger, now that my sight is gone. I can feel the things that you can't see," I said.

"Great. Would you like to visit Bartholomew, Genivee?" I felt her stomp down calling the horses to come to her. I smiled and nodded. One horse knelt at my side. I threw my leg over one side and held on for my dear life as the horse immediately started racing the wind.

~Xan and Stormi~

Stormi ran all over the beach catching the little peices of string from her dress. Xan chased his shirt and trousers. He was in his wolf form. The wind was strong today. Before they boarded the horses, they teased eachother. Today, their kisses meant more than yesterday's kisses.

Stormi stood on Shadow's back, feeling the wind run through her dark hair. Her dress flew in the wind dancing with Shadow's long white tail. Xan watched in amusement. He was happy that Stormi was happy. Then, Stormi was knocked off of Shadow. The horse went down with her and jumped up snarling. Xan leaped off of his and was where she was knocked off in a nano second. He looked at the ground in which she landed on. It was covered in blood, still black, still fresh. He turned to look at Shadow and to his surprise the horse had turned into a young man. He was hansome. He looked at Xan with watery, affectionate eyes and was gone. He left to the direction that Xan assumed was where Stormi had been carried off to. Xan followed slowly turning into his wolf form.

Stormi felt the pain. The stinging, burning, bloody pain. She watched blood ooze out of her, from everywhere. She looked up and she was going faster than the speed of light. She blasted out of, whatever was holding her, the tight grip. She turned to her fighting stance only to find nothing was there. She saw someone's shadow, but no body. The shadow stretched over Stormi's body. She backed up as a body emmerged from the tree's.

"Derik", she found herself whispering. The attack was fast and unfair. Stormi was down with one touch. Derik's power was stronger than Evil's. So, so, much stronger.

"Hey, baby. I'm here to claim what's mine. I never died. You missed a spot," he spat the words upon Stormi's ears. Stormi shivered even though she was unconcious. Derik, the young boy, the one who couldn't get Stormi out of his mind. The blind boy who had just recently recovered his hearing. The boy who was to die by a cliff fall. That Derik, he was here to claim Stormi. Xan, not far behind them, was running after what is his. Something he has already claimed.

Azrael laughed, "Yeah, well it's kinda the same for me."

She looked at him and he smiled, "Cookies are the same as fun though."

She stared at him, He does this for fun?

He laughed at her expression, "Why, me dear, why the grim expression, it's like I told you that I'm a evil man. Although I don't quite agree with the man part, I am partially evil. I rather think of myself as a young adult."

She stared at him in what he thought was shock. He let out a loud laughter, "And my lovely one, how did you get here?"

He raised an eyebrow.

"No, you have it all wrong, we not going to bury anyting there. We need to find someone, and this is the last place for us to look." I commented, started to walk. "Are you sure it's still there?"

"Positive." He nodded.

"Oh goodie." Adron rolled his eyes.

"Adron, knock it off." I growled in a whisper into his ear, "otherwise I'm going to hurt you."

He snorted. "Yeah, that'll be the day."

~Bartholomew Charne~

Corinna was soon in view again, her horse slowing to a stop. I smiled as she came down from the horse. She didn't have Kippy Cat. I felt the tears fill my eyes to the brim. I watched as another horse was behind her. It was another young girl. She was fairly pretty, but her eyes. There was something unusual about her eyes. She jumped down from the horse and called for Corinna. I didn't understand. Corinna was right beside her. Corinna touched the girls shoulder and came towards me standing in the doorway. The girl ran behind very carefully. If the ground was about to get uneven or change she would walk until she was comfortable with it again. Soon they were both in front of me.

"I have bad news," Corinna said. I watched as the girl hung her head lightly.

"Go ahead," I replied.

"Caterine Kipper Charne is dead. This is Genivee Uweing. Her nickname is Gennings. She is blind," Corinna said. She waited for my expression and I felt a tear leave my eye. I quickly wiped it away. I didn't know what blind was. I have only heard of Evil leaving the surving of possesion that way. This girl must of been possesed once, or she can be a human. Those things have some weird qualities. I have heard of some being deaf, and still alive. I will never understand their culture. The girl picked up her head as if to greet me.

"Ugh. I forgot. Bartholomew, blindness is when your eyes do not work properly. It is when you cannot see. If you have noticed, her eyes are a light color. The blindness takes away everything from your eyes. She is still able to hear, feel, talk, taste, and blah, blah, blah." Corinna said. I gasped. Not being able to see has to be terrible.

"Well come on in, Gennings. Are you hungry?" I asked the girl. She shook her head.

"I don't eat much. I only eat about twice every four months," Genivee said with a smile spread across her face. Slade was soon by my side greeting Corinna and Genivee. I walked to my room. Corinna knew that I was to be left alone.

"Wait, Bart. Before you go to your room I just want you to know something. Genivee is also a magician, but more serious and dark. Her scences are stronger than every other persons, so she is more talented." Corinna smiled after her say. I smiled also and nodded. I continued to my room.

I had Genivee follow me into the forest. She was faster than myself. It was as if darkness was her strength. I don't know how that makes any sense considering that she is blind and always in darkness, but it made sense somehow. Genivee stopped me.

"Ssh. There is two girls. One is East of us and the other is North of us. The northern one is about thirty miles far, and the eastern one is about, eh, forty-five, rounding. Both of them are very weak. I think we should help them," Genivee said turning towards me, smiling. I shook my head.

"I have to go and get Slade. I have to give her something," I said weakly. I knew she needed what I was going to give her. I saw in my dream that if I didn't give her my shadowdancing that she wouldn't survive and her children wouldn't either. Her children would one day save the world. The same with Evil's daughter. The young Evlen princess has now decided to go good. She is trapped and I would soon have to save her from Derik. I shuddered at the thought of his name. I hadn't seen him since I had almost been killed by him. I needed to get revenge anyway. I probably needed to go soon after Slade recived her gift. That young Vulmane is going after the pregnant Elven princess. If he gets himself killed then their daughter will become the most powerful thing on earth and no telling what she would be able to do if she wasn't raised right. I looked up to find Genivee just in time to watch her leave in direction of the young girls that were so far away. I had a vision that one was a Vampire and the other one was a werewolf. I rushed to get Slade.

I enetered Slade's room. She was on her bed as happy as she could be. She looked at me and smiled.

"What's the gift?" Slade asked happily. I smiled.

"It's not a present. It is something that I had to have to keep me alive. Without it I wouldn't be here right now. You need it more than I do. Your bleeding has gotten out of control. You bleed very randomly from your pores like me only I have a schedule. The gift is shadowdancing. It will keep you away from everything and it will save you for a long time. Lay on your belly and try not to scream. It is very painful to transfer and it will take about an hour for you to recieve it fully. An hour of screaming is very unpleasant and it hurts your vocal chords," I said and watched Slade. Her expression was un-explainable. I was surprised at her. She stared at me and was petrified. Finally after about thirty minutes she layed on her belly. I put my hands to her back. I was able to manage my screaming. I felt the bleeding come on instantly. Slade was screaming and crying. As the pain grew stronger she was tranforming into a wolf. Something I didn't know she was. A werewolf is very uncommon around these parts. I could usually sense those things. Her memory must of been wiped out when she was beaten. Finally it was done. I fell back and she returned to her human form. She loosened her grip and looked dead. I picked her off of her belly and I looked at her face. She was crying tears of blood. I layed her down and I could feel my hair being drenched as I did this. I watched a drip of blood fall into her open mouth. I backed away and Slade immediately jumped up gasping for air. I called for my maid and dissappeared into my room. I tried to stop the bleeding but it wouldn't stop. Then, I felt a pain in my stomach. It hurt like crap. It felt like something was kicking inside me, another form of life. A baby. That's when it happend. It was sudden. The pain stopped and I heard crying. I fainted then.

(The baby is a miracle child. It was a sudden thing that runs in Corinna's family. The baby is going to be named Loraine.)

*aw! cute baby!*

Slade

I watched as the maid cleaned up the blood from around my and took a wet rag and started cleaning my face and body. It felt as if something was inside of me, something that put a heavy weight inside of me.

"Where is Corrina?" I asked the maid weekly.

"I believe she went to the kitchen, but your ordered to stay in the bed until your stronger" she said, still wiping my face clean.

"Oh, I said. Well... Where is Bartholomew?" I asked her and she smiled sympatheticaly.

~Corinna~

I woke up. My head aked badly. I looked around and beside me in my hand was a baby girl. I was amazed. I havent had sex.......how the hell did this happen? My mind soared with crazy thoughts. I looked at the baby again. She looked like an angel. I couldn't believe she was mine. I picked her up and held her to my chest. I kissed her forehead and I saw a vision. A vision of my life. How it began and how it will end. My real name is not Genivee. That was Evil playing with my mind. My real name was Loraine Charleson. My baby looked exactly like my mother. I was a Good. My amnesia was caused by a tumor and a coma combined.

Henrietta screamed for Johnathan. She held me closer to her and finally pushed me behind her and begged a man to let me go. She said that she would take my place. I watched crying tears of pink, water and blood together. Henrietta was picked up by the hair and thrown across the room. She screamed as he walked over to her and shaved her hair. For the culture that I was apart of at that time it was a disgrace for the women to not have their long hair. The murderer then dug his knife into my mothers stomach only to do it over and over. My father came in and tried to shoot the man, but he was to fast. My father's head was caved in. The man looked at me and lifted me up by my neck. He stared into my eyes and said that I would be hurt when I was eighteen, that I would loose my memory.

That is what the murder of my parents was. I learned my talents from that man. I looked at myself in the mirror. The blood was gone it was now scars. A thought that was not mine occured in my head telling me that these would go away when the child awoke. I was glad. And then I saw how and when I was to die. I was of course in battle. It would be in two months. I looked at my daughter and decided to name her Loraine. No last name because I never had a last name. Then I turned her to over to make sure she was a healthy baby. There was a scar. Loraine was one of the marked.(You will learn about this later everyone!) I felt a tear run down my cheek and I embraced Loraine. She then started to cry and my other maid, Marge, was soon behind me. I turned to her as my scars left my face. That was one thing that I did not see in my vision. What caused the scars and the blood. I didn't see anything past my age of ten. I looked at Marge.

"She's mine," I whispered smiling. Marge covered her gasping mouth and called for the others. All of the mansion staff were soon by my side admiring the child who had fallen asleep again. Marge took her from my hands as I told her how to hold Loraine. Off went my baby to my room. Off went the staff to insert baby things into my room. Bartholomew was soon at my door.

"Was that a baby?" Bart asked. I nodded.

"Yes, it was mine. Her name is Loraine." I said. Bart smiled. Then headed off to Slade's room.

When Bartholomew walked in the maid had completely cleaned the blood up, now it was as if it had never been there in the first place, she was long gone now.

"Hi" he said and leaned against the bed post, his beautiful eyes watching me with an expression as if believing I wasn't real.

"Hi" I replied and smiled at him. "I feel sick" I said with joking intent.

"Do you need anything?" he asked me, now sitting on the edge of my bed, his hands rubbing my arm.

"Only you" I whispered to him and smiled.

"So have you seen the new baby? Cute ain;t it?" I asked Slade.

"It is adorable. How did she have it so fast?" Slade asked me.

"I think that Corinna has a family history of Miracle Baby's. The bad thing about this one is it is one of the marked." Slade gasped as I finished the last word.

"Poor baby." Slade whispered. I kissed Slade.

"Don't worry about it. That thing is going to be the greatest thing you've ever seen! Loraine will one day save the world from a ticking bomb or something!" I exclaimed. Slade looked at me and smiled.

"I hope so. The poor thing doesn't need it's future chosen for her. If she has to live as the marked have always lived then I would do my best to cover the scar. Plus, Evil isn't in this world anymore. His son is taking over. That means the poor baby will suffer more than any other has before."

"Don't talk like that! Loraine will make it. I have faith in her." With this Slade was asleep. I kissed her forehead and layed beside her running my left hand through her hair and my right hand stroking her hand.
