Managed to finish it in one evening. My eyes are aching though, definatly a good book... thought it was a little obvious to the end though. *sighs* welll, that makes things more interesting.

Well, you'll be reading it sooner than me, Snoink.
On TV today, they said that Canada post has over five hundred people delivering the books.

I don't have my own copy yet. I was reading marching_gurl89's little brothers copy (they went to Meijer's at 12:01 to get it) and am on page 104.

I'm about half-way through it.. I agree, Ari.

Hmm.. the third was oen of my favourites as well.. the fifth was ok, but a little over-the-top, really.

The fifth made me feel cranky because I so hated Umbridge and several others. The fourth is my favourite.

*SPOILER WARNING*

I was so interested in the character Draco Malfoy in this book. I love the extreme character development from start to finish. Like, now he starts panicking and getting bags under his eyes, and his face being that grayish tint. I love the scene at the end with him and Dumbledore. I just don't understand why Dumbledore froze Harry.

I'm now really interested in what happens to Draco. Obviously, Lord Voldy isn't gonna be too pleased...I really hope he doesn't die though, because after the scene with him crying in the bathroom, I sympathized with him SO much.

Also, I can't believe Harry keeps on attempting the Crucio. And I think Dumbledore expects the best in people when he shouldn't.

Overall, book four was definately my favorite, though it was a bit long, I like it that way. I'm sad that it's over, I just LOVE cracking open a fresh HP...

ah well. Just a few more years till the next one.

Psh, knowing her she'll take like 15 years to write the next one.

I just finished reading it... Wow. So powerful. Made me cry. And I agree - I love Draco so much. It hurt to see his pain, you know?

The fourth book was always my favorite... But I think this may have topped it for me. Not sure. It's close, at least. I didn't like the fifth one... Too emotional. Even though I know Harry's angst was caused by both hormones and Voldy's connection, it seemed waaaaay too much and I ended up disliking him a lot.

SPOILERS!!!!!

Read that in a day today as I got back from France!

Amazing....

I have a theory. I think that Dumbledore was pleading with Severus to kill him because for some reason I'm not quite sure of he didn't want Draco to be made to. And that, that is one of the reasons Snape was so insistent on not capturing or killing Potter......and he will end up bringing about Voldermort's downfall.

Me and my friends guessed Dumbledore would die in this book.

i disagree with your theory.

i think dumbledore was pleading with snape NOT to kill him. And I didn't want Draco to have to either. i love draco. my friend says I'm a nerd but oh well, I'm allowed to be obsessive
