"It's not feeding...I am healing. He'll get over it, as for my name..." she glared towards Tom, sending chills down his spine, "Well, I guess you'll find out. I'll come with you...but don't you dare pull that crap with me again, you do, I'm as well as gone."

Taking her hand to her face she traced it over the cut, a slight trace of blood on her finger. Removing a dagger from her belt she held it up, "Next time you cut me though...you'll get one back. Twice as deep."

Jason

He walked out into the field just in time to hear the new girl threatening Tom. He took a step back immediately, reaching for his sword. Of course, it wasn't there. It was up in the room, defrosting. He shook his head a little - he'd have to learn to be less aggressive. In the meantime, "Well, it seems like we won't have to leave it to the game to take care of us, we look perfectly capable of tearing each other apart on our own."

Azrayel-

"Doesn't anyone else find it wierd that so many people hit with the virus ended up in the same place at the same time? I played the game for a month before the virus hit me. I don't know when Ayric, Fayne, and vamp girl got hit. But Tom, Jason, and Kelsey only started playing yesterday."

The others looked around the field uneasily, Ayric shifted looking at the others. "It's speeding up isn't it? More and more people are getting hit as time passes."

Nodding shortly Ray tossed Jason his now sheathed sword, the blade was clean of rust and in fact now that the ice was gone it was actually sharper. "Three months ago my twin sister went into a coma while playing Paradise."

"Wait a minute." Fayne stared at him in disbelief. "You actually played the game knowing something was wrong with it. That has to be the most stupid, idiotic, thing anyone could do.

Ray turned and glared at the drow. "Listen Scrawny. I would walk through hell if it meant saving Ceria. And I don't give a damn if I die trying. Although, in hindsight I should have waited until I knew what her avatar looked like."

"Names Cassandra, call me Cassie but don't call me vamp girl..." she glared towards Ray, "And wait a sec...are you saying I can't log out? That I'm in coma?" she asked, trying to log out only to be hit with an error message.

"Dammit! You're kidding me!" she glanced towards Ray, "So...your sister played this huh? Pretty noble to go after her even though you know you could die."

((Ayric))

Sighing Ayric stood. She wasn't sure if she was amused or serious at the moment. She brushed herself off. "Alright. Enough with the cutting and slashing. Your tongue is just as lethal as your weapon. If we want to find others, it sounds as if we might not have to look as hard."

Ayric turned her eyes towards the newcomer. She looked her over cautiously, as if one look could set her off again. Apparently it could. "Hey! Stop looking at me, shrimp."

Grinning wicked she slowly strode over to the girl. In human form, Ayric was a bit shorter than normal. The girl seemed to be a head taller than she was. If she shifted it would be a different story. "You have a name, LethalStare?"

Lethal gave her the same look she'd given Tom but to no avail. Ayric's grin widened mockingly as she detected something in her eyes. "You have a bit of basilisk in you. You may not have intended to put it there but nonetheless. Name?"

After a tense second Lethal softened up but her voice still held a mocking note. "Cassie. Do I get the honor of knowing yours?"

"Ayric. The one who nicked you is Tom. Fayne is the Drow; I highly advise you not to screw with him." Ayric grinned at Fayne and he returned it. "Ray is the half elf and Jason is the human with a sword."

Cassie nodded stiffly. "And what are you exactly?"

Ayric smiled warmly at her. Her body started to stretch into form and expand. Her beak shot out from her mouth and Cassie stumbled back. Ayric finished and stretched her wings out to full capacity. "It feels incredible to stretch after being all cooped up for so long."

Cassie's face was grave for a moment but it quickly melted. She burst out laughing. "Gods, you didn't have to be that dramatic."

Ayric's chest thrummed with pleasure. "I enjoy showing off." She craned her neck around to look at her other companions. "I approve of her."

She had to hold a laugh in as Tom and Jason both crossed their arms simultaneously. "Who said you're the one who had to approve?" asked Tom.

Her shoulders cracked as Ayric shrugged. "It just seems that I'm the only one without a temper. Don't give into anger, it clouds your vision."

It was Tom's turn to laugh. "Whatever you say Emperor Palpatine."

Ayric ignored Tom and eyed Ray. "What's this about your sister?"

Ray shifted onto his other foot. "She was lost here. I decided to come for her. She might be alone and I want to help her."

Hmmm..."Maybe we'll find her when we search the town for more of the infected."

"Maybe." It looked like he was tuned out. Ayric took a head count.

"We're missing Kelsey. How could she still be sleeping?" Ayric inquired.

"She isn't anymore." Kelsey had finally made it to the clearing. She came from the road, holding a green apple in her hand. "When I woke up I thought you guys had left me for dead!"

Ray smirked. "You don't look very dead."

Kelsey shot her tongue out. "I was hungry. Did you guys grab any food yet?"

"Nope." Jason answered for everyone.

Kelsey blinked with confusion. "Who's she?"

"Her name's Cassie."

Kelsey grinned. "LethalStare? What kind of a name is that?"

Cassie groaned. "Are all of you people this unfriendly?"

"Yup." everyone chimed in unison.

"So." Kelsey asked. "What's our plan here?"

[Fayne]

Fayne could understand Ayric feeling cooped up in human form, it had been a while since he was in wolf form. Maybe they should know, or maybe I should leave it... He shrugged the thought off. He picked up his blades and returned them to his belt, fastening his robe once more. Putting a hand on his necka nd feeling the two little bumps on his neck, he walked over to Ray. "Is everyone coming to get food or is it just Shorty here and I?" Ayric walked over to him.

"We'll all go." She said, taking lead, Fayne walking right beside her. As they walked toward the market street she turned to make sure that no one was within ear shot. "How long have you been playing, Fayne?" Fayne looked down.

"As long as you have, it may not be obvious, but something was keeping me at the origin point. I gained enough experience there." He replied. "I can shift, too." Ayric looked at him surprised. Fayne shook his head and kept walking.

**I'm going to be gone for a week from tomorrow till the eleventh, and I don't know if I'll have internet, so could someone keep my character alive?**

Jason

He glanced down at the defrosted sword, it was actually sharper than it had been before. It surprised him, although he was still a little annoyed at the inconvenience it had caused him. Nonetheless, Jason hadn't needed it, and if he had, he still had his pistols with him the entire time. He needed some serious practice with those, probably as much as Tom needed with his (or her?) bow.

He nodded at Ray, "How long did you say your sister had been gone?"

"Three months."

"We should probably try to find her before we try to beat the virus. I mean, every day we spend fighting it instead of finding her is a day that could see her dead. If that's what it means to die in here while your body's separated."

Ray shot him a bemused look, "Why the sudden concern for human life? Yesterday, you were trying to kill someone."

Jason shook his head, "Yesterday I didn't realise the consequences, and I was pissed off. But I wouldn't want someone's death weighing on my conscience if I could've done something about it."

I'm feeling totally lost, cause I wasn't here for a week. Can anyone explain, or bring me in?

Thanks,
Lily

((Don't worry, I'll bring you in. I can't do it tonight, however. The Third of July is as much of a holiday as the Fourth to my family so I'm busy. I shall bring you right in tomorrow. Just put your character in Tolleto, the city everyone else is in. Make her be walking around or talking; we'll find you ^.^))

((Alright. I think I'll try to run the storybook. Whoever is still alive just post a hi or something so I can get a headcount. I can't post today either cause I'm going to church and straight to a party in a bit and I don't want to type a full post when my friend is here. I'll be on tomorrow, promise!))

I'd like to join up, if you'd give me time to think about my character.

***the more the merrier Kyte!!!**

Kelsey

I looked at the new comer, "So... You wanna come with us?" I asked.

She glared, "Yeah, sure."

I held my hands up in surrender, "Ok. Cool, cool. Just being friendly. Trust me, in a place like this.. your going to need friends. So... Are you going to play nice?"

"Yeah, sure.... whatever." She rolled her eyes.

"On the other hand, the first time we met all you were doing was apologizing Kelss." Ray smiled.

I threw the apple at him. "It was because I fell on you and you know it!" I smiled back.

I looked at the new comer and saw that she had daggers on her belt, "Oh and... take the daggers out before you go to sleep, their really sharp and a pain in the ass." I said, and then I planted my butt on the grass.
