Annie

I chuckled and sighed, arrogent man. "You're parinoid."

"You do look like you're going to be sick," he assured me.

"I do not."

He flipped the visor down on the car with a mirror I blinked at my face in horror, "oh wow..." My eyes were bloodshot my face was pale. I looked like a crazy person on crack.

"You've looked like that all day, it got worse when you were attacked."

I cringed, "Maybe I could use a burger."

"Yeah."


Phil

I could give it back for that," I assured her. I held her hand now. "Want to watch a movie?"

"Sure, what movie?"

"I don't know...Not much of a selection, we could see what's on pay per view if we can't pick off of the shelf."

Senra:

Senra nodded and followed him over to the tv stand. They serached the rack and didn't find anything so he pulled her back to the couch and started flipping through the channels her hand still intwined in his the whole time.

"How about that." She said. It was How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. She smiled at her own joke.

"Hey now, not funny." He laughed as he kept flipping through the channels.

"I thought it was funny." She smile.d '


COlt:

Colt stopped and picked up some lunch for them. "You really need sleep, An, I'm worried about you sometimes." He said softly.

Annie

I finished chewing, "you don't have to."

"Yes I do, you're obviously not."

"Because there's nothing to worry about." I stuffed another bite into my mouth, stop being so stubborn I ordered myself, but I couldn't help it. I'd be lax in other areas, but not when I was right.

"Annie, please?"

"Please what?"

"Concider that it might be somewhat dangerous."

"It could be," I admitted, "If I wasn't eating."


Phil

We finally settled on a classic movie, something about thanksgiving. That was coming up soon wasn't it? I wondered how I'd spend it. This was the first year that I wouldn't be going home to my family, there was nobody to go home to, they had died a few months ago.

Maybe I would go visit their graves, or spend it with my new friends. Spend it with Senra. I liked that thought.

"Speaking of Thanksgiving, got any plans?"

Colt:

Colt shook his head. "I am going to put you under house arest if I have to." He frowned. "I'm sure the boss wouldn't mind having your gone for a week if you came back looking 100%."

"You wouldn't." She frowned.

"Then get sleep." He said firmly.


Senra:

"I have no life but what i'm doing now." She laughed. "So no."

"We should do something." He smiled stroking her hair as the movie kept going.

"That sounds nice, but Annie will probably have something planned, I should talk to her." Senra replied. He shrugged,

"I'm sure she has nothing planned and that Colt will try to get her to do something with him." He smiled.

"So what plans are a possibility?" She asked with a smile.

Phil

"I could attempt to make a turkey based on my mom's old recipe," I suggested, "it can't be too hard. Then Everyone can come."

She smiled, "like a party?"

"Without the loud music and booze, I don't like those parties."

She nodded, "sounds good, but how about letting me cook?"

"No no, its part of the thing, you can help and make sure I don't kill anybody but I want to cook it."

She nodded with a giggle, "alright then."


Annie

I was about to argue when my cell phone rang. Saved by the bell I picked it up and answered, it was Senra.

"Hi," I said simling, "how are you feeling?"

"Pretty good, Phil's still keeping me company."

"He's a good guy."

"Very good. We were also wondering if you had any plans for Thanksgiving?"

I thought for a minute, "not really."

"Phil wants to have us all over, You, Me, Kaleb, Syb, Colt, the whole chabng."

"Sounds like fun," I said, "I'll ask Colt about it save you guys the trouble."

"Great thanks, Phil's going to call Kaleb and Sybyla now."

"Bye, Colt's makng me get sleep soon."

"Good, you need sleep to ya know."

"I'm fine."

"Are not," Colt growled, I rolled my eyes, said my goodbyes and hung up the phone.

Senra:

Senra hung up and handed Phil the phone. "Here, I'll be back." She walked to where her computer was and quickly typed in the adress for her old house. She emailed the landlord to see if anyone had come looking for her. She was about to shut down her ocmputer when seh got an email back.

Senra,
Good to hear from you, you surprised me by leaving so fast to vist your friend out there. But I hope you are doing well. Yes, a guy came by and started asking about you, he seemed to know that you were pregnate and asked where he could find you. I gave him your address, hope you don't mind.

Bengimen Town



Senra's legs felt like they were about to fall otu from under her. No one should be looking for her, especially someone that knew she was pregnate. She felt faint. She quickly sat down her whole body shaking.


Colt:

Colt frowned, "There is no arguement, now you said you would ask me somehting." He smiled chanign the subject.

"Phil is having a Thanksgiving parth." Annie smiled. "Your invited."

"You going?" Colt asked. SHe nodded yes, "Then I am too, and you'll eat your fill to." He teased smilng at her.

Phil

I went into the computer room where Senra was sitting, she looked terrified.

"Sen?" I asked cautiously. She jumpped like a jackrabbit. Soon as she registered that it was me she relaxed.

"Oh it's just you," she sighed in relief with a small chuckle.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing."

I already knew her too well to concide to that one. I walked over and reclaimed her hand, it was cold as ice. "You can trust me."

"Somebody is looking for me," she whispered, "somebody who knew I was pregnant."

"Did anybody know?"

She shook her head, "it must be him."


Annie

I laughed, "even anorexics eat on Thanksgiving," I assured him, "I'll be eating more than my fill."

He laughed too, "Good, will you sleep now?"

"I have to shower and stuff."

"Please?"

"eventually yes I will sleep."

Senra:

Senra swallowed hard. "Listen, Sen, I won't let anyone hurt you." He said gently stroking the back of her hand. "I promise, the second he shows his face and we know who he is he's good as gone."

"But what if we don't know who he is and it's to late?" She asked her voice breaking.

"I'm not leaving your side unless I have to. I'll sleep outside your room, and make sure NO one messes with you." He said smiling.

"I'm sure I'll be safe here." SHe smiled back. "But thanks for the thought."

"How does he knew you are here?"

"My landlord." SHe said motioing towards the screen.


Colt:

"Not eventually, as soon as we get to your place, you take a shower, and go to bed."

"But."

"No, you will do just that in that order no dilly dalling." He frowned.

"I need to catch up with Senra though."

"Don't pull that one, I"m sure she will agree with me. I'm already liking her cause she thinks you need sleep just as much as I do. She'll be a good roommate for you."

Annie

"You are planning out praticly a prision life for me aren't you?"

"No," he said, "just a safe one."

"I am perfectly safe going on as I was, I'd been living like that for a month before this and I only fainted once."

"One time too many."

I sighed.


Phil

"I'm still going to stand guard until he shows his face," I looked at her, "and however long you want me around after that."

She knew the promise as well as I did. I didn't feel obliged to be here, I wanted to be, and once any feeling of obligation went away, it was up to her to send me.

Senra:

Senra smiled softly. "Thanks, you don't know how much that means to me."

"I think I might." He smiled squeezing her hand. "Now, let's lay out a plan for this party of ours."

"Ours?" She asked as she followed him.

"If you don't mind, sense i'm going to be following you around I thought maybe I could make it ours."

"Ok." She smiled.


Colt:

Colt smiled, "Now, lets get you home and to bed."

Annie

I was more tired than I thought I was. By the time we were home I was almost asleep. Colt chuckled and helped me out of the car, "told you you needed sleep."

"Oh shush," I grumbled, I was about to step on the ground but it never appeared, Colt lifted me into his arms and carried me into the apartments. He didn't bother with the stairs, he went right to the elevator. "I can walk up the stairs," I said.

"You don't trust the elevator?"

I shook my head. As if right on cue it shut down, between floors. "Told you so."

Colt:

Colt laughed and hit the emergency button then sat down sitting her next to him. "Well, maybe you have a reason." He smiled resting his head on top of her's. "Go to sleep, when we get out of here I'll get you to your aparment." He grinned.

Annie

"It'll be easier to explain if you wake me up when they get us out."

"You're not going to fight?"

I shook my head in the dark, "no, if I sleep I won't remember I'm in an inclosed space."

"You're clausterphobic?"

I nodded, "very."

Senra:

Senra set the table on thanksgiving day as Peter tried to prefect his turkey that she thought already smelled amazing. She stood back to admire the table as she rested her hands on her aching back. She should be having twins instead of one little boy by the size of her stomach. She sighed and walked to the kitchen rubbing her lower back.

"Hows it coming?" She smiled at Peter looking around his shoulder at the turkey.

"Almost perfect." He smiled. "Everything else is ready and people should be getting here soon."

"When your done with that come look at the table." She was happy with her job, glad she finally fit in somewhere and felt completly at home and safe, sadly she didn't live here though.


Colt:

Colt sat on Annie's couch while she got ready, he couldnt believe how much better she was looking sense he had become her person body guard of sorts. He made sure she ate right and slept right. He had followed through with his threat and gotten the boss in on it too.

"You ready yet?" He called to Annie.

"Almost." She called back.

"Whats takin so long?" He asked.

"Shut up!" He laughed and closed his eyes resting his head on the back of the couch

Annie

As I brushed my hair I looked back on the last few weeks. I felt a thousand times better now than I did then. I pulled on my shoes and walked back into the livingroom.

"Ready now?"

I smiled, "yes I am ready."

We walked down the stairs, I stumbled on one and he grabbed my hand to steady me. When I was resteadied he didn't let go either. I was content like that.
