Well, do you feel gratitude whenever you help someone? Don't you do kind things expecting kindness in return? There is nothing we do that is pure altruism.

Yeah but the intent isn't always to help someone to feel good about yourself.

Pure kindness is actually pretty rare Nai, I do actually agree with Brad. It's an unconscious trait, we don't think "Hey, I'm going to feel good if I say nice things to this person" but it's just one of those things. Doesn't mean the kindness is actually belittled by this, however.

Ah, I see where you misinterpreting me. Perhaps you think my saying it exists meant I was saying "It will exist for you," which is not what I said. How bout I summerize my first post to avoid any further misunderstandings: You can't trust that the kind of people who bully you will vanish. Done give up. These are some effective methods of making sure that it stops happening to you. And I do withdrawl my previous accusation of only wanting to say what you said to make yourself feel special. However, my description of the action remains the same. I've been on the recieving end of it enough times to recognize it.

Fontroy, I know it feels bad to have people say stuff like that to you. Ignoring them doesn't necessarily help. Just keep telling yourself that you know the things they say aren't true, or that even if they are true, that it's not necessarily a bad thing. It may not seem to help at first. These things take time, but in the end, the confidence you gain from it, and all the side-effects of that, is an even bigger victory that just throwing insults back or resorting to physical violence. Being a pacifist, I tend to think it's good to avoid these at all costs. However, I do admit that sometimes these things are unavoidable.

I'm not bullied in the sense of having one individual or a small group be mean to me. It's more like a group conspiracy. Bloody cowards. :P

Really, it gets frustrating, they're just dragging the thing on and on. Thankfully the conspiracy seems to have disappeared, but I am still left with the question on why the entire thing began. I mean really I'm as silent as the grave during school, so there is no logical reason reason why anybody should hate me so much that they would want to inflect harm on me. But, in the end they probably did more by shortening my life through psychological tactics. I think I would have much preferred it if they just got it over with so I could give them a taste of their own medicine. :P

But, nah violence never solves anything. :smt021
