I'd give you advice, but I don't really have that problem...

I'm not bullied (though there are a couple of idiots who try and intemdate me every now and then - just don't act afraid) nor do I bully (I'm too kind ;)). I'm nice to people who get bullied :).
I wrote the above just for you.

Well, once you get into high school the bullying will swell down to a minimum, trust me. I've been in 2 different high schools in 3 years. In high school kids are still made fun of sometimes, but everyone begins to mature and everyone has their own label because most kids don't know where to fit in when they first arrive. So no matter what type of person you are, you will fit in with other kids, and that's when you seize the opportunity to allign yourself with a group and stick with them.
Bullies don't pick on numbers, much less know what they are
I never had problems with bullies really except for a school I went to that was only 4th and 5th grade. In that time, there were three kids, one was small and skinny, name was Jeremy, the second was small and fat, his name was Jason, and the third was tall and skinny but he never talked at all.. I don't remember his name. Anyway, these kids used to gang up on me ALL the time at recess. Finally one day I decided to retaliate. It's always the sniveling little one that starts everything, in this case, Jeremy. So basically I punched him in the face, and once he was down on the ground, his two other friends beat me up. Wasn't the best day lol

But the point is, you only have one year until high school, if you need any advice on how to deal with bullies, send me a PM i'll help you out.

It's a lie to say that bullying will stop once you hit high school. It does exist in all grades. It changed forms, and didn't happen as often, but I was bullied right until my summer school session after I finished my five years (which is normal in Ontario if you want to go to university). But suicide is not the answer. For me, things were at their worst when I was in middle school, and if you read the play I posted here, you'll see what it did to me, and what it made me want to do to myself. The important thing is, I didn't do it, and you shouldn't either. There have already been too many to do that, and it doesn't help. Maybe it will stop for you, but don't get your hopes up about it stopping. Some things that have proven effective are, if you get the chance to present a story or write a speech you will then give, do it about bullying. Because bullies can easily forget that their victims are human too. Show them how much it hurts. Show them that there's more to you than what the bullies want to exploit. But most importantly, prove to yourself that you don't deserve to be bullied, that you're better than that. The bullying might not stop all together, but it probably will. And even if it doesn't, it won't bother you anymore.

The one thing you can't do is give up. There's always another rainbow.

That is the exact oposite of what I was trying to do. I just don't like giving vulnerable children false hope. And what part of "You can't give up. There's always another rainbow" didn't you understand? Maybe you know bullying, but do you personally know bullying to the point of being suicidal?

i was bulleid in 6th grade, it sucked, cuz whenever i got pushed around/ beat up, i would get the same punishment as he did. tell the teachers/ guidance counselor they are there to hellp, never think of ending your life, thats really bad, because allot of those times you are just depressed upset and hurt and when you are fine you really dont want to die, thats a bad thing, a freind of my sisters died like that....... if you keep bugging the teachers about it they will stop, eveyonce in a while you can try to retalieate(im not suggestion you do this, but just as a last resort type thingy is a teachers isnt there and you cant run, fight back)... bullies are usually insecure people who have no freinds, allot of the time they get beat up at home,a dnt they take their anger out on other kids

I'm not giving him false hope, it's true, it does go down to the point before "none" in high school. Teenagers are not as cruel and apathetic as people and movies percieve them to be.

What makes you think I was talking about fictional media? I'm talking about real stories. I wasn't trying to take away his hope. I'm just being realistic about situations that are much worse than the one you descibed being in.

Ok I hope this will help.Ok I was bullied for a while a month ago. There is no way that bullying will stop when you are in highschool. They figure if they did it to you in another school that they can do it to u now.I know Rei has been in this sittuation so I think she knows what she is talking about so I guess I side with her.

Well, it might not be important, but I was bullied when I was in the third grade. There was a boy who constantly talked about me.

But... I live in a pretty tough neighborhood, and the school's tough too. This helped me a little I think, because I was okay by fourth grade when I learned to handle myself.

It may help, but my dad told me that if someone picks on you, especially when they first meet you, it's important that you don't show that you are intimidated by them.

But... there aren't really any bullies in my school anymore. Strangely enough, in my neighborhood, those who used to be bullies turn into geeks by eight grade, and are bullied by everyone else... I guess after people become more mature.

Hope that helped... or maybe it didn't. n.n

thank you Lakija,

Well Yoshi your point doesn't count because your not in high school yet so you don't know what it's actually like. And Rei, basically what your saying is that kids don't change. You may be a victim of bullying now, but that doesn't mean you need to drag down someone with you that wants it to end.

*cough cough*

"Bullies ur either one our get bullied by one"

puh-lease....we are on a writing website...come on, please use correct grammar when you know how to...when you don't, it's okay, but this was disgraceful. i know someone else has lectured you on this, but obviously, it didn't get through to you...

Correctly it would be: "Bulllies- You're either one or you get bullie by one" which still wouldn't be good grammar.

Now to answer your question, I used to get bullies but being with a lot of other friends usually drives off the bullies... good luck and pm me if you need help...

I never said that kids don't change. Only that bullying occurs no matter how old you are. Even when you enter the adult world.
