"So where are we gonig captain"James asked. "I have no Idea" he relpyed "I suprised you havent got us killed." James said. "I know me too" the captian said.
I stared at the rest of the crew. They were gambling, again, and I had a bottle of rum in hand.
Great. My luck had landed me in a rage again; I'd failed to get revenge once again!
Finding my drink empty, I threw the bottle. The glass shattered against the boards, making the crewmen jump in surprise.
"Jake, cool off!"
"Hit the bunks, man!"
"Just throw the ass overboard."
"Mind your tongues, men. You don't want to set him off."
One of them approached me, reaching to take me by the shoulders. Guiding me to the barracks, no doubt. I shoved him away from me.
"Get off! I don't need your help!" Even though I knew I was drunk. I took a slightly staggering step away. "Just mind your own business."
"Listen, you're drunk, and we don't want no trouble," he started on me.
"Trouble? Who says there will be trouble? I mean" - I snickered - "the only trouble here is that we can't catch the Crimson Tear! And we're nothing but pirates! To Davy Jones' locker with rules! Hell!"
"Jake, just go below."
I scoffed. He'd resorted to bossing me around? I leaned closer, got right in his face. "Make me, mate. Since you're so high and mighty, make me go. I dare you."
