Pirate

Sydney:

I rushed over and helped Julios. My hand accidently brushed up against his and I blushed. "Sorry." I appologized, helping him move the wood. I smiled tentatively. surely I wasn't falling for him...was I?!

"no reason... to apologize" he studdered. He realized he could act when there were potential threats around her but when they were alone he was very good at doing something wrong.

Sydney:

I laughed at myself. "Yeah, I guess not." I was still red. He was adorable! I growled inwardly. It wasn't safe to get close to a pirate! my mind yelled. I knew it was right, but I couldn't help myself!

Lizzie~

I glanced over to where Sydney had gone. Silly me, I had been so involved in watching the pirates raid the ship that I hadn't even responded to her question. I hoped I hadn't hurt her feelings. ...though it sure didn't look like I had.

Sydney:

After helping Julios, I went back over to Lizzie. "Hey sweetie. sorry I had to leave. what do you think of all of this?" I asked, bending down to her level. She was adorable, and practically the key to my heart. If you could be nice to her and treat her right, I would adore you, as long as she liked you. I smiled at her.

I walked around to find Julios struggling with some boards.
"Here," I said helping him.
"Thanks," He replied and we walked slowly with it towards the ship.

"Time to get these board into place then." Julios states. He unseals the leak in the bow and begins to peg the new timbers into place. What a job.

Sydney:

I sighed and watched Julios. He was so sweet and wonderful. I missed being with him. it was irrational, but I was jealous of my first. I didn't know why I was jealous. It was stupid. And irrational. But I was jealous of them working together!

Julios held the timbers up and let his momentary helper peg them into place. "There! Now stopping at the next port is uneeded." He walked away from the lower bowls of the ship. He couldn't help that his feet carried him straight to the captian. When he arrived in front of her he was slightly surprised and had nothing to say. So he did the only thing he could and opened his mouth to speak and nothing came out. he finally managed an uh and then closed his mouth knowing he just made a fool of himself.

Sydney:

"Hey. How's the ship going?" I asked blushing. I didnzt know why I was being such an idiot. why couldn't I just act like the captain around him? why did I try to be...myself?

"Well, we shouldn't have to port anytime soon. How are you?" He sai instantly knowing he never should have asked. He stood abosolutly rigid and awaited her reply.

Sydney:

"I'm...good." I stuttered. no one every asked for my own personal emotions. I wasn't used to saying how I was. I tried to come up with something. then the call came. "Ship on the horizon, flying Navy colors."

I growled. "If they catch us, we're dead. Fly another flag and pray they don't stop us."

Julios looked up to the horizon. Ther was indeed a ship. "Permission to arm the cannons, Ma'am? " He asked. Before the reply came he had already jumped though the deck hatch to the storage rooms and begna running to the cannons.

*ugh! I'm so sorry I seem to be ignoring you! I keep having to leave!*

Lizzie~

I frowned at the moention of the Navy. I hoped so much they didn't catch us. It was such a scary thought I shivered. Sydney had skillfully taken care of us so many times, though. I had no reason to worry. I trusted her completely. Also, though, I hoped she was OK.

Sydney:

I didn't know what to do. if we fired, they would know who we were. if we didn't attack, we risked the chance of them inspecting my ship. If we ran, they would ask why. I groaned. I hated times like this. every single person on board this ship was counting on me, but I was so tired! I hadn't had a decent sleep in weeks. I groaned and went to Julios. "What do you think I should do?" I asked, looking at my feet.
