Hey Sam, could you send me those old chatwalls by any chance via my gmail? I'd like to archive them here.

I can't stop looking into this, and I found out that apparently 403 Forbidden errors happen inadvertently all the time, so maybe that's the case here. It would make sense seeing as how the TYWC database is there; you just can't access anything in the /derya/ directory.

You can click here to see the Google cache.

Look for "Teenz that are Crazy!!" that's the storybook I manipulated. :)

I'll zip them over to you now, Nate - I have it to about seven pages back, from when I first started as Dreama Fowler-Mitchell in 2001.

Maybe 403 Forbidden is just an error after all? I know people used to get that page when they were banned, but I remember getting it a few times back in the day when I hadn't done anything to get banned at all.
Matt.

Hey guys! I was on TYWC, but I joined in 2006, after it was mostly dead.
Anybody remember the Prophesized Ones storybook, started by Earthen_Angel? Gryffinkeeper was on it. Beethoven, Blackwing, Dragonfire, Catress (as they were known on that site) were there too, and I don't know who else may be here who was on it too, just lurking behind different pennames.
I was OnceUponaTime, btw. :)

When was that storybook started? I think I might have played a very minor role in the original and then a bigger one in the re-make that Beethoven and Dark Angel started a few years later.

I miss them! I'd love to have another chat with Beet or Catress or Dark Angel or Earth Faerie or even Fantasy Anne.

I think it was started in April 2003. And I think Earth Fairie might have been on it. Did your penname happen to be Catress?

No, but I knew her. She was so great at creating believable characters.

I loved her characters. She had a doppelganger towards the end of her posting on the RPG, and she pulled it off so amazingly. I learned most of what I know about RPG's (which isn't much, lol) from that one. It was so much fun. It was an entire two pages, and it took me six months to read thru the whole thing so I could join.

OnceUponaTime. But I came in at the last days of TYWC, and that storybook. I think it was sometime in Spring of 2007. idk.

Haha! I know you! We should move this discussion to pm though; stop clogging up Nate's lovely forum.

I was a member of TYWC back when I was 10 or 11. If I do remember correctly, my first entry was a short story about a boy on a magic carpet :)

I just came to this site because I googled TYWC, looking for my old works, and this popped up instead. I wish I could access the old archives and read everything again...

FYI, the stories and the poems are still up. Some of them have 404 errors on them though :(

Either way, here are the links:

Favorite them for inspiration :)

The wince that you wince when you see your quote in the quote generator is quite a wince, I tell ya. To know that the whole YWS community has read and judged your quote is quite an awkward feeling like oh noes. *manly blush*
