Awe Sam and Beth had a thing! LOL May is going to kill me for saying that!

Jaden-

"If?"

"I don't know. Maybe it's best that we leave."

"This was your idea!"

"Excuse me, um what are we doing?" Lillith asked.

I turned around and sighed. "We are going to try and get a room at the Sword and Staff. It looks like we'll be eating meal again. We don't seem to be welcome here."
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

So, in case anyone doesn't know, I'm taking over Twili. Here's his biography again. Please help me jump in.

Name: Twili

Age: 16

Element: darkness

Personality: He is silent and timid. He prefers to be alone. He sticks up for himself but finds it difficult to be attached to anyone.

Weapon/Gift: He controls the darkness. Like he can make you go blind. A powerful dark aura surrounds his body, creating a natural shield. He can shape the aura into anything. Also, he can create shadow minions.
Gift: http://jessa1155.deviantart.com/art/Mal ... t-66330917 -- the ring
Weapon: http://wen-m.deviantart.com/art/Anima-B ... 2-88602736 -- second from the top right.

History: He was a happy boy. But when his dad left, his mom went insane and murdered all five of his siblings and then committed suicide. Lovely. He now (used to) rents an apartment with three other guys and works after school until around two AM. I doesn’t really have a reason to go back to earth.

appearance: Light coloring with brown hair and eyes. His hair is shoulder length and he’s average height.

Additional info: Up for love, hate, betrayal, whatev.

Again, please help me jump in :-)

Lillith~

"Well, that's just peachy." I murmmered sarcastically, "Is it going to be like..." I looked around at the not-so-happy faces, "...well, this, everywhere we go."

"No...yes...hopefully not." Was Jaden's reply. How lovely.

"So you bring us here just to get glared at? I get THAT at home."

"You probably do..." I heard her mutter, though I suspect I wasn't supposed to hear it. I turned to Twili and saw him looking at something that I couldn't see. I shook him back to this earth...whatever it was called again and shrugged. What could we do if these people were crazy...not that I really had a right to talk.

Erica~

I looked around me, everyone looked so unhappy.

"What happened here?" I asked quietly. Gregory and Haven were really the only ones close enough to hear me, "What caused so much hurt?"

Haven

The sadness was sickening. I truly felt like I would be sick if I spent anymore time in this place.
"What caused so much hurt?" Erica said, turning to me with sad eyes.
I shrugged, choking down a woozy feeling, as we left the pub.

I was walking on the outskirts of the group beside Caleb and Erica when a man bumped into me. I turned around to look at him. I met his eyes as he continued to walk. They were full of dark shadows.

I turned around and retched up everything I had just eaten.

"Haven!" Erica said, coming to my side.

"Are you okay?" Caleb said, putting a hand on my back. I shook my head as I dry-heaved and coughed.

"Haven?" Erica said. As soon as I was able, I looked up at her. "M okay..." I said. I shot a glance at the stalkers.

They were talking to each other in whispers, glancing nervously in the direction the man had gone.

~~~~
There. Christmas Eve present. Haven got sick. (lol. He's not happy).
Umm....I guess my reason for his sickness is because he is the element of light, he's very sensetive to negative emotions, sadness in particular, and they affect him. They affect him usually by making him sick. Which confuses him because he doesn't realize WHY he's getting sick.
He came down with a BAD case of the flu when his sister died.
So...merry Christmas everybody!
"You sure?" I asked, grabbing his arm to support him. I followed his gaze and saw the two adults, "What happened?" I asked him.
"I...I don't know." He rasped. Caleb looked just as worried as I was feeling. Dusty then ran up.
"What happened?" She asked her brother.
"We have no idea."
~Lillith~
"Hey, you two, why the heck happened?" I demanded, pointing at Haven.
"They sure as heck don't know what happened. All they're worried about is keeping secrets and making cows eyes at each other." I pulled Haven’s arm over my neck, supporting him. "Let's get him cleaned up.”
~Lillith~
I grinned at Twili's remark and watched as Caleb and Twili supported Haven. It was weird how all of us just suddenly came together to help another. REALLY weird. Even that foregin dude, Kneph, was sort of glaring at the two adults.
"Guys, I think I'm fine now." Haven said after a few moments, though he still looked a bit green.
"Take one for the team and make those jerks really guilty. Maybe you limp or something." Now I was the one getting the glares. "Okay, okay. But seriously, you okay? You still look a bit sick.
Haven
~~~~~

I nodded, even though I was still feeling like my legs would give out any minute.

"Yeah. I-I don't know what happened. That guy, he just-"

"What guy?" Lilith said, whipping her head around to look for him.

"I think he's gone, Lil." Twili said. I smirked, watching as Lilth and Twili both blushed when the nickname slipped.

I turned to Caleb, who still had an arm around my shoulder.

"Thanks, man," I said, rubbing the back of my neck akwardly. I wasn't too good on gratitude.

He smiled as he let go of my shoulder. "It's nothing, Haven."

I smiled back: a lopsided, shaky smile, but a smile nonetheless.

That smile got bigger as I felt Erica come up beside me and put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay?" she said.

"Yeah, Lollipop, I'm good." Erica's eyes widened for a minute, and then she smiled.

"Well, that's good. Because a few minutes ago you were looking as green as the Emerald Isle, Leprechaun!" she said in an Irish accent to rival one of mine, laughing. I laughed along with her, my first real laugh since...I couldn't remember when.

The others ooked at us like we were crazy for a minute, then smiled and shook their heads.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Gregory glaring at us. I laughed harder.

Finally, we calmed down.

"They do say laughter is medecine for the soul," Caleb said, and pointed over at a few small children who had just moments ago been looking sickly and sad like everyone else, but were now smiling tentatively.

"Well, whaddya know," I heard Lilith whisper, awed.

Twili suddenly looked up. "Oh no, guys, here they come."

Obviously he meant the stalkers.

**By the way, Jaden won't be on for a while, she's in Florida right now (she left me!) and doesn't have access to a computer**

~Erica~

I looked and saw the stalkers and then the group of us teenagers. We were different, somehow. Maybe it was the air or maybe this mutual 'having-no-idea-whats-going-on' state of mind.

Or maybe it's because its hard to trust stalkers.

"You feeling better, Haven?" Jaden asked. Maybe they weren't exactly heartless.

"Yeah." He said stiffly.

"Good." They seemed more relieved than most adults are when kids aren't sick anymore. Is it something more than that?

"I ask again, what the heck is going on?" Lillith asked, her eyes fire and her voice ice.

"We can't explain it, not here." Sam explained, looking at the people around us.

I sighed then looked at the children, their smiles gone.

"Kids should be running around, playing and getting themselves into trouble," Gregory said, reading my mind "Not looking...well...like that. It's depressing."

Lillith~

I nodded, smiling at the little kids.

"Don't scare them off, Lillith." Twili said, and I glared at him. I then walked over to the kids and knelt down to them.

"Do you guys want me to teach you a game? It's a lot of fun." They all looked scared but one of the braver ones nodded shyly. "Okay, here's the rules..." And I started to explain the game of tag.

*Waves at Jaden* Welcome to the land of heat, humidity, and awesome amusement parks! Aka, Florida. Glad you could join us.

Sam

I watched in amusement as the kids gathered together and began to play tag, wishing that I could join in. But I knew that if I did, the game would stop immediately. So instead I turned to Jaden to speak with her without continuous glares.

"We should probably explain to them all soon why exactly they're here. I mean, put yourself in their place for a moment. Wouldn't you want to know too why two of your teachers randomly kidnapped you and a few of your classmates and told you had magical abilities?"

"Well, yeah, but will telling them now make much of a difference? They won't trust us either way."

"Maybe. Maybe not. But we're going to have to tell them eventually. And what happens if he learns that they're here? What happens if he kidnaps one of them and they don't even have their weapons yet?"

She rolled her eyes. "And I thought I worried too much..."

"But I have a point, don't I?" I pressed, risking a glance at the kids to see they were still happily playing tag.

"Well, yeah, but Sam, don't you think we should wait just a little longer?"

"Nope. And if you won't do it with me, then I'll go ahead and tell them anyway."

Lillith~

Is it such a bad thing that I REALLY enjoyed playing tag? So what my oppnents were little kids, so what I actually ended up at the bottom of a dog pile more than once? This was way too fun!

"What are you talking about? You didn't touch me!" I explained to the little kid that had first volunteered all of them into playing.

"Yes I did! I did too get you!"

"Compettive much, Lil'?"

"First, don't call me that." I said with an angry blush, "Second, I'm not compettive, I just don't like losing." I explained.

"He did get you."

"Shut. Up." I said, punching him lightly in the shoulder. The others laughed at our little argument.

"Come on, let's play. You're 'it' old lady." He said, pointing to me.

"Who did you just call old, young man?" I growled, picking him up. He squealed with either delight or fright as I spun him around. For some reason, I like young kids more than adults. Probably because I can beat them up.

When I put him down, all of them promptly tackled me again.

~Erica~

I smiled as the kids worked together to pull an already dirty Lillith to the ground. All of us laughed at Lillith (or with her, if you prefer).

"Should we help her?" Dusty asked.

"Naah...she got herself into this. She can get herself out." Twili laughed.

"But that isn't any fun...well, laughing at her is fun, but..." At that, I grabbed a little girl off of Lillith and spun her around just like she had that little boy. She squealed with delight and some other kids came to me and started tackling me just like they had Lillith. For the first time, I was sort of glad to be here.

The parents of the kids were starting to smile now.

Then I noticed one woman, leaning against a house with a sparkle in her eye. She looked at the stalkers and her eyes widened and she nearly fell over in surprise. She looked like she wanted to talk to them but then hurridly walked away.

Gregory-

"Erica, Lillith," Jaden said sharply, "time to go!"

They looked both looked up questioningly, surprised by the tone in Jaden’s voice. But all Jaden said was that "we should get as much sleep as we can". As the children’s laughter died down the fear and sadness came back, once again making the town as silent as a tomb.

Twili-
We walked through the eerie silence. All of us shifting uncomfortably and avoiding the villagers eyes. Though I wouldn't admit it, I liked Lillith playing with the kids. There had been a spark of life. All of those kids, they were so young and innocent. Why weren't they laughing? What had happened? It reminded me of when I had got home from work that horrible day. I walked in, and I swear I smelt the death. Finally, we got to the inn. As we climbed a few steps to the porch, I knew something was wrong. The inn was deserted. "Um, guys?" my voice cracked, I cleared my throat, "guys?"
Jaden turned on me "What do you want?"
"Um, well, are you sure this is the inn?"
"Of course I'm sure," answered Jaden as if explaining something to a very small child, "I've been here many times. This is the inn."
"Then why is no one here?"

Hey everyone! I’m back!

……………………

Jaden-

I looked into the inn and took a shuddering breath. It looked as if no one had been there for years.

“You’re right, no one is here,” I said sadly. We should never have left, never had let this happen.

“Tell us the truth, what is going on here,” Lillith demanded.

I gave a glance at Sam and nodded before he and I broke into the inn. Sam looked around the tables and under every corner while I searched behind the counter and up the stairs. We were checking for anything that might be able to listen in on our conversation.

I turned on the elementals next. “Do you really want to know what is going on? Why Haven threw up?”

“Jaden calm down,” Sam said. My hands were trembling and I must have looked a fright to everyone else. I didn’t realise that I was taking this so hard.

“What is going on?” Erica asked quietly.

“Are you going to explain or shall I?” Sam asked.

My eyes went to my shoes the entire time as the words slowly left my mouth. “This town is under the control of Sarnom. He is the master of illusion and obviously he has placed a cloud of sadness and emptiness over this town. It used to be a joyful village when last I remember, full of our… our friends…”

I couldn’t go on anymore. Beth’s gray face burst into my mind as did the children’s and the empty inn that used to be full of warm cheery people. This was too hard…

***Sorry for my abscence****

Caleb:

"So, back there, we broke through his illusion for a little while?" Cale asked.

"It seems so." Sam replied looking at all of us. "But the second it ended it
s back to the sadness."

"How can we stop this!" Dusty growled. "Their just kids! They should be having fun, laughing, playing tag. Not moping around like someone has stolen all their candy." Caleb could tel she was about to lose her temper, this was taking more of a tole on his sister then he thought. He pulled her into a hug and looked at Sam for a reply. Jaden seemed to upset to answer anyway.
