I saw Lexy do something at the helicopter to the people in the whitecoats. Why, I wondered had they dressed up as whitecoats when they really weren’t? There was something more to this attack then met the eye though, I was sure of it.

(i started this a little before some of the last posts so we'll just say that i was the girl Reed mentioned)
[Blade]
In her peripheral vision, Blade saw ZT drop like a rock. She vaguely recalled he had gotten pretty scratched up in one of the battles. Glancing around at the rest of the flock, who were shooting away as fast as possible, Blade made a split second decision. Probably a stupid one, but hey.
In an attempt to evade helicopter blades, she somersaulted forward and dove under and behind the helicopter. Which turned out to be a stupid idea, because the wind caught her wings all wrong and jerked them nearly out of their socket. Ow.
She rolled her shoulders and tried to find ZT. She scanned the trees swiftly and found him nearly in the whitecoat's laps. Which would be bad. Hunching her shoulders, she dove.
The wind whistled past her ears, making her eyes teary. She positioned herself so that she would hit him at an angle, hopefully she would be able to carry his weight and hers. Our bones are light, she comforted herself, hoping it would make a difference.
Owwww! That was gonna bruise. Blade rolled her shoulder. Ow. Good idea Blade, fly right into the guy why don't you. Sheesh.
She shook her head, smiling slightly at her stupidity. At least it had worked. She had gotten him away not so safely but at least in one piece. Which brought her to now, flying for her life. Right. Good idea.
She focused on pumping her wings, each downstroke bringing her closer to the flock.
"Let's move!" Blade yelled, full of adrenaline now. And they began the frantic flight for their life.
"Are you okay, ZT?" She asked, wondering if her actions had worsened his condition.
"Holy shit!" I exclaimed as I spiraled away from the helicopter. I was still trying to catch up on what had happened. I had left Lexy to die and I felt horrible. I just couldn't remember the right plant to make her better. Then again, I didn't even know what was wrong with her. I began to notice something. The wind was being driven around by the copter blades but the wind inside was heading towards it. And we hadn't been shot at at all.
I spotted Blade and ZT a little ways off. My blood boiled as I saw they were in a bit of trouble with the wind turbulence. I took off fast, riding the good wind, and made it safely to the two.
"We can't stay up!" Blade yelled over the helicopter which was slowly going further away. She was quickly blown to the side by the wind current. She regained her balance and flew back to me, who had started to help ZT fly straight.
"Follow me!" I screamed. I navigated along the wind with ZT, who was hurt, again. I rode the easiest currents I saw. Blade came up onto the other side of ZT and let him lean on her. We flew on and saw scattered flock members strewn around us. I noticed Reed coming in fast. He slowed down and waved me over. I nodded towards him and Blade turned.
"I can fly on my own." ZT said. He still looked hurt but I started to let him go a bit. He flapped him wings hard and started to fly on his own. He looked at me and I smiled, obviously I was actually melting inside.
Reed reached us and yelled over the wind, "They aren't the School!"
Finally, I found Mayze. Or rather, she found me. She helped both me and Blade get out of the helicopters way, and now, finally, everyone was going strong. That is, except Rose and Lexy. They were still at the old clearing.
"We have to go back for Rose and Lexy sometime!" I shouted.
Then I flew a little bit closer to Mayze... happy to finally be back with her... I wondered if it might be one of our last time's together if the helicopter caught us all.
*XD XD XD Omigosh, I loved your comment about the old ladies*
*also, ZT has nothing new to say... I'm waiting for someone else to say something that will let me say something... are we going back for Rose and Lexy or not?*
*haha! old ladies rock :P*
*is nate back with rose and lexy or is he with the rest of the flock? and what is reed talking about them not being the School? a little confused here...*
YES!!! We lost them! Blade thought, mentally partying. But then of course partying involves moving and, as she looked around at the exhausted members of the flock, moving seemed out of the question.
Blade slumped to the floor, resting her hands on her knees and her head in her hands. "So what's the plan? What are we going to do about Rose and Lexy? and Reed, what did you mean when you said they weren't the School? and how many people are hurt?"
So many questions, so little brain juice. Headaches!
When they stopped to rest, Blade started asking questions, one she directed at me. "They couldn't have been the school," I answered, "because the school has their symbol on everything they own, and the helicopter didn't have that symbol."
"But couldn't they just have disguised the helicopter to make it look like they were someone else?" Blade asked.
"I don't think so." I replied. "For one thing, they showed up in their laboratory robes. For another thing, the whitecoats wouldn't show up with just a helicopter, they would probably pressure us towered an ambush of Erasers."
As soon as I said that, I regretted it. For a second everyone looked at me like I was from another planet. And then Blade said, "You sure seem to know a lot about the school." I didn't answer to that. All I said was, "As soon as you guys want some sleep I'll take the watch."
