"But come nightfall, I should be well enough to get out and feed."
An opening door startled me - and obviously Tegan - with a faint blast of sunlight. A girl was in the doorway, wide-eyed in shock at the sight of us, bloody and bruised from the night's battle. Tegan and me cringing away from the sunlight probably only added to the absurdity of the scene.
"What happened?!" she called out.
"Close the door!" I snarled, forcing myself to my feet and striding - clumsily - to her side. Without effort, I took her by the arm and pulled her deeper into the apartment and closed the door at the same time.
"What...what..."
"Just...stay in here..." I moaned when everything seemed to spin as my knees buckled. Damn. Not enough strength yet...I leaned back against the wall and slid along it until I was sitting down. "Dont...open the door."

*haha, I love how you guys got normal injuries and Jenna got bitten by Monanoke... also, if you want, I'm sure Sam can come in. Are we in Alana's apartment? Just say the word, he can create some action!*
Jenna-
I still felt light headed, but I struggled to my feet and went into the kitchen.
"Can I have a glass of water?" I asked. "Oh look, my tea's still on the table." I looked to where I had left a cup of tea less than twenty four hours ago. I picked it up. "Yeah, it's kinda cold," I said, pouring it down the drain.
I suddenly saw another girl. "Um... hi," I said. "You are?"
"Stella. You were in my dream the other night. And everyone called you Princess." -Lauren2010
**Welcome back Stella! Where ya been? lol And Amber, don't be afraid to use other people's characters. As long as you keep them in character, you'll be fine.**
Tegan
I watched Cray carefully. This girl was clueless, just like the others had been. And now she was involved in our affairs, all by accident.
"Think we should fill her in, Drake?"
Drake looked at me for a moment, nodded, then laid back. He was quiet for a long time; apparently fell asleep.
"Tch," I scoffed. "Always leave it to me...Cray, you're not going to believe me, but I will tell you anyway. You just unintentionally walked into a war between vampires. We are the Breed, and our opponents are our blood-thirsty 'cousins,' the Rogues. Our most recent battle was an ambush, and Drake" - I gestured to him - "who is our leader, was badly injured. Our new friends, Jenna and Alana, were also caught in the fray."
**There's a basic summary for you, Amber.**

ALana looked down at Drake and chewed on her lip. He needed to feed, and that news didn't make Tegan happy. She didn't know what to do. She would let him drink her blood as long as he didn't kill her, but she didn't know if there was something wrong iwth that. When she had offered before he didn't seem to like the idea. She just sat there helpless, wanting to do something, but knowing she couldnt'.
"Jace, how the hell did you get in here?" I asked.
She shrugged. "I followed you."
"Get the hell away from me!"
She pouted. "What's up with you?"
"Nothing. I'm staying at home tonight."
"Oh no you're not," Jace said, and dragged him out by the arm.
Jenna-
I shrugged at Cray. "I kinda got caught up in this as well. I made a promise not to get caught up with vampires, and look what happens." I sighed and sunk into the sofa further. "I want to stay human at all costs. No offence lads."

Alana listened to the conversation. She didn't care either way. She just wanted all of this to end. All of it to go away so she could get back to her life of wishing her brother was still alive. She sighed inwardly. Life always had to get complicated when she finally thought everything was going just right. She looked at Drake, then the others. If it had stayed right she wouldn't know half these people.
And be it if everyone was still normal. A voice in her head hissed. She looked back at Drake out of the corner of her eye. She wished everything could've stayed normal and she could've still known him. But she knew she probably wouldn't have met him if this all hadn't happened. She never really left her comfort zone knowing full well that if she did she would be in danger.
***Alright, all I had. Do your time lapse if you want. ***
**Good God, people haven't touched this in, what, two weeks??? Damn!! Okay, TN, let's get this started back up, and recruit a little if we must. lol**
Drake
Dusk finally came and darkness settled over the world outside. My wounds had finally healed, but I was still sore and weak. I would be an easy target to Rogues at this point...
"Tegan," I called as I stood, bouncing on my heels a little to test my balance and leg strength.
He turned to me.
"Scout the area. Girls, stay in here. I'll be back in a few minutes; I need to feed."
Alana looked at me worriedly. "Are you strong enough?"
I nodded and kissed her on the forehead. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."
With that, Tegan and I moved out.
