Fedalia
Red Oak

Fadalia turned her head to meat the eyes of the new wolf. A savage snarl ripped from her jaws and she raised her head and tail in dominance. She need not say who she was if this wolf had any sense she would know. She studied the fea for a moment. Muscular and large with a night black pelt and small spots of flame coloured fur. A small blue X crossed her forehead.
"What brings you here." She said calmly.
Her ears swivelled back as the slim figure of Leona approached from behind. She flicked her tail in greeting and gestured for the fea to join her by the river.

<<what time of year is it?>>

Tallulah
Blood Mountain

A growl sounded deep in Tallulah's throat as she scented the breeze. She was standing on a rough outcropping of rock, trying to distinguish the multitude of scents that were floating about on the air. Four or five wolves clustered around behind her, some of the younger wolves yipping with excitement as they play-bit eachother. Tallulah's golden eyes looked around at her pack, noticing Serra, who was crouched slightly apart from the others, keeping her gaze averted.

Suddenly a strong scent of moose <<I don't know what kind of animals live in the area, so I can change this later if it isn't correct :D >> caught in her nose. Giving a bark-howl, she beckoned the pack. They responded immediately, stopping their game to bound after her, silent now.

Tallulah positioned herself so that she was near Serra, looking at her as un-obtrusively as possible. Her natural mistrust of the half-breed had faded slightly, but she still wondered what went on inside her mind.

<Red Oak>

Flame turned around so that she could see both of the wolves, making sure her escape route wasn't cut off entirely first. She glared at the new wolf who took a step back, startled. Unlike most wolves her eyes had never faded from puppy blue, to green or brown or gold. They were such a pale blue, that when she glared it was like looking into a well of ice.

"Quite sure, and under normal circumstances I'd just love to fight you. But i'm afraid now just isn't a good time for me."

So saying Flame turned and bolted into the brush, not even bothering to hide the fact she favored her left foreleg. Flame knew she could run as fast as a Red Oak wolf, but she was injured, and had been hunting in the mountains the last month. She knew that they'd catch her, but not before she led them on one hell of a chase.

Flame plunged down a canyon gully, ears laid flat, her entire body streamlined, suddenly a hail of rocks came crashing down from above, blocking the gully's exit turning she saw the two females not far behind her. She was trapped.

Flame let a growl build in her throat, she knew the'd catch her, if only because they were older and more experienced, Flame was just a year old barely more then a pup. She shouldn't have survived the winter alone, but she had. Flame had taught herself to hunt, fight, run, all the things pups learned from the older pack members. After the year she'd lived there was NO WAY Flame was going down without a fight.

<<Pleas don't say what the other wolves are doing. Without us saying it first.>>

Fadalia
Red Oak

A savage snarl ripped from Fadalia's jaws and she bolted after the new wolf.
The earth was a mossy blur beneath her and her head and tail where flattened in a streamline. Fadalia was known for her sprinting skill and she wouldn't give up a good chase for the world. She kept to a steady trot not to many paw steps behind the black wolf. She would play one of her famous tricks on this one. First she would tire the wolf down before giving one last push of speed and attacking.

Seconds later rocks tumbled before them and Fadalia smiled evilly. She's trapped she snarled and leaped into a sprint. She kept her eyes fixed on the wolf ahead and prepared herself for anything.

Leona
Red Oak

Damn. Fadalia was in pursuit, hackles up. That was never good.

I followed them at my own pace, my long legs carrying me faster than normal for some strange reason.

Don't let them fight.

I kept going, following them into the box canyon.

Don't let them fight.

And I found them.

I won't let them fight.

Fadalia
Red Oak

Fadalia sensed Leona's approach. She seemed anxious about something. It didn't seem good. She picked up her sprint and leaped right into Flame.
Her jaws where spread wide apart and her teeth gleamed in the light. Her limbs where outstretched and her claws seemed stiff with anger.
A growl burst from her as she tore into the black wolves fur.

<<I wont keep going I need Flame to do something so I can work off of that! :D>>

Dang! I was too late!

There wasn't much I could do, except watch, as Fadalia tackled our quarry, tearing into her. If I had to interfer, it would have to be under Fadalia's orders.

I hoped this wouldn't take a turn for the worse.

Flame snarled and twisted around to throw the other wolf off her she slashed the other wolf across the muzzle, and bit into her ear. Using the fact she was slightly larger then the other wolf, she slowly pushed back until the pair were fighting evenly.

At last she lunged for the other wolves throat, but at the last second Flame put too much weight on her injured foreleg. A sickening crack echoed in the sudden silence, and Flame bit back a whimper. Looking down she saw that her leg wasn't just hurt anymore, the leg might even be broken.

<<Hey. Just because your wolf is bigger does not mean she is better at fighting!>>

Fadalia
Red Oak

Fadalia snarled in pain as the wolf tore into her precious ear she was enraged by this and grabbed Flame by the neck in dominance. She caught the falling wolf just in time. Flame had broken a limb and thus ending the fight.
After nipping her on the neck she slowly lowered her to the ground.
"Talk about thin boned!" She snarled, "Don't worry I am a trained healer I can help you." She smiled "if that is what you would like..."
She stepped back.

*I know, it's just an advantage she has when fighting the Red Oak wolves, whe's still smaller then Blood Mountain*

Flame laid back her ears and glared at the other wolf, it seemed she was stuck, either way she'd have to be helped by these wolves. "Fine, do whatever you want." Then she added. "And i'm not thinboned, the leg was already injured when I was up in the mountains last moon."

Even though she was getting there help she still showed aggression. Flame couldn't help it, it just wasn't in her nature to bow down to anyone. Warily she waited for the other wolves to approach.

Fadalia
Red Oak.

"Whatever I want?" She snickered "I don't have to do anything. For all I care I could leave you here to die. But I thought it would just be kind of me to help." She lowered her head to Flames leg, "You should start showing a little more respect, or you will receive non yourself."
She sniffed the wound and said "We need to get you back to our den." She raised her head "Leona" She called "Come help me get this wolf back to the den. I will take care of her there."
She nudged Flame and began to lift her from the earth.

Serra moved quickly with the pack towards the scent of the moose. She ran along the other wolves though when the moose came in sight she would pull away from the pack and block it off. Because she was a mix she could run faster then most of the others which made her a better hunter unless it was a gizzly, then her smaller size was a down point.

The moose came in sight and she lept up on a ledge and sprinted above the moose. She jumped on it's other side blocking it's path as the rest of the pack neared. It turned towards her and started to charge. She growled feircly and lept at it's throat jumping to the side as it tried to hit her with it's antlers. She slashed at it's throat with her claws causing blood to come out of the cut.

Tallulah
Blood Mountain

The hunting pack encircled the huge bull moose, barking and leaping at it, holding onto it's flesh with their teeth. The animal bellowed, swinging it's head back and forth with fury. Panting with exertion, Tallulah managed to actually jump onto the back of the moose, aiming for the back of it's neck with her open jaws. Serra had a hold on one of the back haunches now, and she clung on for dear life, ignoring the half kicks of the bull moose as it continued to struggle. Several of the other wolves were also had holds, or were jumping in their quarry's face, distracting it from the huge wolf standing on it's back.

As soon as it had started, it was over. Growling threateningly, Tallulah stood over the huge carcass, daring the others to come closer. She ate her fill before tearing off one of the back legs to take home. Backing away, she let the other wolves take their turns.
