Chaney stepped off the bus into the sunlight, immediately flippnig her sunglasses down onto her eyes to protect them. She had an 'army green' duffel thrown over her shoulder--old navy sometimes had the coolest colored things. She wore a pair of jean gauchos with sneakers and a tank top.
She saw a few kids roaming around, she followed them towards the barracks but didn't say much on the way there. She wasn't here to make friends really, she wasn't even here to learn about the army. She was here to get her mind of things.
She turned to the left in the barracks as the guys went to the right, assuming it was so. If not, she'd move. She picked a bed and tossed her holdall on it, glancing out the window at the grounds.
