Ok, here is my character then:

Name: Nashoba

Rank: Alpha (male)

Pack: Mystic

Appearance/description: I'll post a picture later. Reddish coat, dark brown eyes, and large head.

Canis: Your alpha male is a mystic, right?

oops, yeah, I forgot to add that....

Blaze

He ipmatiently pawed the ground. Isn't it time to leave? he thought.

The alpaha seemed to read his thoughts. "Patience," he said. "We leave as soon as the moon is up."

Blaze dipped his head, biting off several replies. "When the moon is up," he repeated.

Mansi moved swiftly, weaving in and out of the trees. They were catching up to her.

She lept over a large bush and lost her footing, wiping out and slamming her hip against the trunk of a tree. She let out a long, deep howl. The pain was unbearable. She lifted her head, breathing heavily. She could hear the mountain lions now without having to try.

She let out a sigh, a trail of white twisting and turning up into the trees. She had finally been made an alpha, and what happens? She ends up getting killed by a bunch of lions. "That's real alpha intellegence," she thought.

She tried to stand up, but a stabbing pain shot through her legs. Nope. There was no getting away from this. She lay her head down and slowed her breathing down. If she could put herself to sleep, she wouldn't have to feel the pain of being killed.

As she shut her eyes, she heard the breathing of lions coming closer. She opened one of her eyes slightly and saw their tall, light gold figures towering over her. She quickly shut her eye and focused on her breathing. "Here it comes," she thought.

But just as one of the lions lifted their claw to slice her throat, a loud howl was heard in the distance, causing the lion to loose its footing. Mansi opened her eyes and perked her ears up. That howl. It sounded so familiar...

A split second later, the pounding of paws on the forest floor surrounded Mansi. She looked around her and saw several older male and female members of the pack, eyes icy, teeth bearing, and muscles tense. Mansi layed her head back down. Maybe there was a chance after all.

The members, together, began to take a step forward. As they did this, Mansi felt something sharp on the back of her neck. It began to pull her down the hill. It had to be one of the other wolves. She relaxed the muscles in her neck to make sure that the other wolves teeth wouldn't do any physical harm to her. If they bit down in the wrong place, it could mean death for her.

As she was being dragged, she lost sight of the rest of the pack, but she could her the howls and growls of a brawl. There was going to be blood. After she was dragged about a mile down the mountain, the teeth released their clench on her neck. Mansi lay her head on the ground and the wolve that had pulled her down the hill jumped over her and kneeled down on its front knees. It was Winnepea.

"That was a close one." Winnepea's deep, warm voice calmed Mansi.

"How did you--"

Winnepea smiled. "I followed the scent of your blood. You trailed it all the way up to the spring."

Mansi nodded. "Thank you Winnepea, but you didn't have to do this. The pack-- it's more important."

Winnepea layed down next to Mansi. "The pack is safe and sound in the Towa Cavern."

Mansi let out a sigh of relief. Her father and mother were safe.

They lay there for a few minutes, until Winnepea stood up and turned toward the direction they had come from. Out of the brush appeared the members of the pack. They were bloody and most looked like they were near death.

"We lost one," Winnepea said, surveying the group.

A slim, grey haired wolf took a step forward. "We had to let her go. She could not be saved."

Mansi began to cry, but tried desperately to hold it back. Crying just wasn't something Alphas did.

Winnepea nodded. "She fought for our pack. May her spirit be guided to and protected by the wolf gods." Winnepea turned to face Mansi, a slight sheen over his eyes. She could tell he hurt, but it would be even worse if he cried. He called over his shoulder, "Two of you, come and help me get Mansi down the mountain. We have to get her to the healer."

Naira pawed at the air with one paw, trying to catch a leaf that was stubbornly dancing around the clearing. Dawn's light filtered through the branches above her head, and about half the pack was awake. Naira had been awake for hours, or so it seemed, playing with her leaf. She stretched and went back to the den to find Zern. It sometimes seemed that all he did was sleep in the morning! As usual, she was snoring on her customary pile of leaves, and Cashmere was watching over her. Stepping back a few paces, Naira prepared her leap.

Zern made a loud yelp sound and quickly bit Naira's ear and pushed her off. Zern tried to catch her breathe.
"Whats going on!?" Zern demanded. When Naira just giggled and started laughing, Zern huffed and staggered outside, grumbling.

Naira laughed loudly as she watched her sister scramble out of the den, huffing grumpily. Shaking her head, she glanced at her sleeping mother, and waltzed outside the den happily. Zern was sitting there, scratching her neck irritably. Naira walke dover and sat down next to her, and began to lick her flank. Zern sat in stony silence, apparently still sore over her rude awakening. Sighing, but still inwardly laughing at her sister's expense, She lay down, and put her head on her paws.

Suddenly, Zern was on top of her, playbiting at her scruff and pinning her down.

"He he, got you!"

Zern laughed at Naira and jumped off her back, then she started running and Naira started chasing. Cashmere came out of the den and sat next to Nashoba.
"Good morning, Nashoba." She said.

Nashoba nodded his head gracefully in acknowledgement.

"How is the training of Zern and naira going?"

<<Sorry, I'm outta time... >>

"The training is fine. But every now and then, they need to play." She said, she walked away, into the forest to hunt. She brought back a buck and began to eat it. Zern and Naira joined there mother and so did the rest of the pack. Zern stopped eating and quietly sneaked into the forest.

Naira tore off a chunk of meat and began to chew. Suddenly she noticed a tail disappearing into the trees. Was it Zern? Slyly, she began to back away, the meat still in her jaws. when she was almost out of sight, she turned, dropped her food, and followed her sister into the trees.

Zern started running as fast as she could and quickly took a left turn into a bunch of ferns. She saw Naira pass the ferns. Zern turned around and started walking back to the pack. Then she was pounced on, it smelled like Naira.

"Hah! I found you. Where are you going?"

"Shhh, keep quiet. And get off me!"

Naira jumped off her sister and looked at her curiously, ears cocked. Zern raised her head and sniffed the air, then turned and walked off purposefully, not looking back to see if Naira was following her.

Zern started running with Naira running behind her, then she jumped into the bushes and watched as Naira slid to a stop.
"heh heh!" Zern went a different direction. She saw a rabbit and got ready to attack it. She jumped on it and killed it

Yes!!!

She thought. She started walking back to the pack.
