Caiden leaned into Colt, her earlier anger forgotten. When the wizard dissappeared she looked at him, "so where are we gonna be now? He probably heard that we were going to Slade's house."
"Hm...I didn't think about that," Colt admitted.
"I've got special wards around my apartment," Slade said, "If I don't want them in, they can't get in."
"THen I guess we'll still head there. We can let him in, just no one else alive or vampirish can be with him." He replied kissing Caiden's forehead. "Let's go, I'm in dire need of a hot shower and some sleep." He smiled, "I probably stink."
"I love you too." He laughed, "I think you smell wonderful. Course you could be covered in horse manure and I'd still think that. I'm a little bias aren't I?" He kissed her lips softy.
