This is a picture of wolf eyes that I drew. I will put up the next few stages until I am done! Enjoy... and please feel free to comment etc. I am going to do some work on it over time! I repeat over time!

I like them, it's a good start. But I think it needs more substance before I can actually critique anything.

Please try to keep it on topic, though. You guys can PM each other for off topic things, thanks!

You know, I don't think those look very much like wolf eyes. Maybe they're too round, or maybe they just need a face in there to make it all balance out. I don't know.

And I think they'll look good in green. Those are pretty, and unusual for wolves. :)

P.S. You know your username is actually spelled Guinevere? That is, unless you mean someone else instead of King Arthur's wife...

Gold.

But yes they look a bit too much like some weird anime character's eyes.

I think they look a little like a lion's eyes. Colour can change a lot though so don't worry. I think they'd look good in a silvery grey or perhaps a grey-blue?

Golden. green, silvery grey, grey blue and icy blue...Hmm. I know exactly what I will do! I will make copys of it and colour them each in differently...Then I will post them all and you guys can help me choose! It might take a while though because I am not using my computer and I don't own a photocopier. But non the less I will get them up at some point! :D
Thank for all your opinions and I am still wide open for more suggestions!

That sounds like a good idea. Perhaps try one in a pinky red as well? And what colour are you thinking of doing the wolf's fur? (Presuming that you're going to actually draw the wolf?) That should help you decide how you want the eyes to look.

Well...I am planing on not showing anything but the eyes...I just want their affect. But I am going to draw the fur. It will probably be black.

If you were drawing the fur black - which is a stylish choice, by the way - then I think that the eyes should be a lighter color, so they'll show up better. Probably if you colored them some sort of emerald green they'd be too dark to see the little details in the iris... just a thought, though. :) Good luck!
