Twilight 2

She shook her head with a grin, almost laughing. Grabbing Clara, she spun her around one good time and got back into the flow of music.

Nix moved across the dance floor, taking glow sticks off of people's necklaces as she danced pass them; they were either too busy dancing or too busy staring to notice her quick hands. She put a glow stick necklace and bracelet on both of Clara's arms, then equipped herself to match.

Together they danced, intensifying the effect, almost hypnotizing the patrons with their neon colors and fast dancing.

I became intoxicated with the mix of lights, music, and movement. I felt no fatigue no matter how long I danced. The DJ kept a constant flow of pumping Rave mixes that urged me to dance more.

Nix and I were in constant harmony with each others motions as we twirled around each other. There seemed to be no end to it...

"Hey..." She said to Clara, bouncing around the dance floor, "I think your friends are a little...'dead'!" Nix laughed at her own little twisted joke, and bumped Clara lightly with her hips.

"Why don't we go sit down for a while? Just chill?" With that, Nix casually strode away from the staring crowd, throwing one of her bracelets out to them, giving it back.

"So who are they?" She asked Clara, as her dancing partner obediently followed, like two graceful swans who had decided their males were not suitable enough. With a slow movement of her hand, she waved toward the others that had accompanied Clara upon her arrival.

"The two 'people,'" I used my fingers to make quotation marks, "at the bar are Riley and Anna." I pointed at each one. "Anna might've danced if she had felt better, but she's had a tough day."

Slade looked over at the two girls dancing in the middle of the dance floor, hypnotized by not only there beauty, but how there bodies seemed to flow so fluidly with the sounds and beats of the music. Slade decided that he must meet the new girl when he noticed they were coming off of the dance floor.

"Hi."

'Smooth, real smooth' thought Slade.

"Hey."

"Do you want to dance?"

"Umm, give me a minute to cool off, and all be out there, but do you really think that you can keep up?"

"You would be suprised." said Slade, seeing as he had been a vampire longest of any he knew, he had learned many ways of dance, and could perform them perfectly. Well, at least he thought so.

Her eyes fell over the man, examining him, taking him in. She grinned, picturing him dancing with her and Clara. That would be very interesting.


"Your name, handsome?" She smiled, warmly. She almost had to shout over the music, yet her voice still held it's natural gentle tones...until you made her angry.


"Slade, yourself?" He quirked up his eyebrow in return, and grabbed her hand to place a small kiss upon the top of it.

"Nixie, but most people call me Nix. I'm pretty sure you already know my friend Clara here." She then grabbed Clara, wrapping her arm around the girl's shoulder and pulling her tight against Nix's side, smiling.

They all moved towards the dance floor, and there seemed to be no end of songs. At times it looked as if they were entwined with each other.

"Lets have a dance off!"Nix yelled to Slade.

"No way, i would lose miserably!"she laughed but still insisted.

Finally Slade caved, and they started forming a circle to get it started.

**just trying to think of some new stuff to get this rolling**

"WOO!" She laughed and giggled at the confused humans. She slid out into the middle of the circle and throw her body around in different proportions of dance moves.

"Come on guys!" She yelled to Slade and Clara. "These people can't do it like us!"
With that she spun and bumped her hips from side to side, laughing again.
