As soon as Danny's feet touched the ground, he hurried over to me and pulled me into a tight embrace before examining my wrist.

"Did he hurt you bad?" Danny asked in a low, soft voice.

"No. I'm fine," I replied. "Can you give me a moment?" I extricated myself from him and walked towards Slade and Clara who still held the other werewolf.

"Can he be trusted?" Slade whispered with a brief glance at Danny.

"Yeah," I hissed. "And thanks. I think we're going to go now before this gets even more out of control."

"Good idea," Clara agreed. "Mind if I have a word or two with this one?" I looked up at the unfamiliar werewolf before answering.

"He's on your territory," I replied and then turned and walked back to Danny.

Anna

I found a shadowy alley just two blocks from the bar. Near enough to hear the commotion, but far enough not to be detected.

That had definately been Terrence. The Wild One. The one that had nearly killed me, forcing me to nearly kill him. I couldn't risk being so near to him...not only perhaps a year after our encounter. Werewolves seldomly forgot...

How long would it take for the others to get away? What would they do to him and his pack? How would Clara react when she discovered who he was? So many questions ran through my mind...

I didn't bother to put Terrence down, but carried him out of the club. Many of the humans were to drunk to remember what happened tonight, so the sight of a girl staring at an overgrown wolf that was floating through the air would seem like a really wierd dream. They'd most likely blame it on the alcohol and become sober.

I went into the alley next the club and lost my cool. Terrence went flying into the brick wall and slid to the ground before turning into a nude human. I grasped his throat and lifted him up with one hand.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, attacking a vampire on our territory? And for the second time!" I managed to keep my voice at a threatening growl.

Terrence laughed. "You're nothing but leeches, and my job is to get rid of you leeches."

I pressed him harder against the wall. I didn't tolerate anyone hurting my friends, but more so, Anna. She was practically family, the closest thing to a family I had, and he nearly took that away from me.

"Look, you do know I could kill you right now, and you little pack mates could do nothing about it, right?" I heard them line up across the alley's opening and I smirked, my hand leaving Terrence's throat but still leaving him hanging in the air by and invisible grip around his neck.

I was ready to fight, ready to kill. My anger had built up every day since Anna's encounter with this mindless beast. I would get revenge for him killing her confidence and bravery...

"Hello there, boys." She said with a devilish grin, her intentions were far from good. Nix had followed Clara and her hostage out into the alleyway, and was standing behind the line of Werewolves that had formed to take up in defense for Terrence.

Clara's powers would do well against one, but not near enough for all of them. Nix was highly ticked off that these guys had ruined her night, and even more so that she had missed the brawl inside.

With a pop of her neck, she eyed the small formation, "You boys got something to say to my girl Clara here, or are you just here for a parade?"

RIley walked over to Colt. He was nursing a drink now looking blankly into the wall. He would fight, but the were must've caught him off gaurd.

"What are you doing here, stranger?" She asked sliding in the seat next to him. He looked over at her and smiled,

"I'll be, so I see you haven't been killed yet." He laughed,

"Why would I be killed?" She demanded,

"Not caring about being in danger." He replied flatly.

"Oh, yea, where have you been I thought you left?"

"I couldn't stay away." He said looking down at his drink. RIley watched Clara leave and then Nix,

"You wanna help me find Anna and Clara?" She asked,

"If it involves maybe fighting weres I'm all up for it right now." He said standing up. She stood up and they walked out the door looking for the three girls. "There," He wispered pointing to an ally way. They both walked up behind Nix and looked the weres over.

There was about four of them standing before her, they turned and growled at her. One got smart and caught an attitude.

"You think you can take me, little girl?" He chuckled huskily, and the others followed suit. The one that had spoken stepped forward, almost two feet from Nixie.

"Do you think you wimpy little worms are gonna take down us werewolves? Think again!" He threw his fist out towards Nix's face, she ducked, planted herself on the ground with the palm of her hand, and shot the bottom of her feet into his chest, throwing him back onto the ground.

Jumping to her feet, she moved over to the were lying on his back, breathless. With one heavy stomp to the side of the head, she broke his neck with a loud crack. The other three were stunned, unsure if they should attack or retreat.

After a short moment of shock, the wolves converged on Nix. I didn't wait to see what happened, I just flung Terrence into the mass, knocking three off of Nix before joing the brawl.

One by one they all transformed, Slade, Riley, and Colt fighting their own opponents. I knocked one were into the wall when Terrence burst from behind the mob and knocked me over. He sent his jaws at my throat, but I caught his muzzle and snapped it closed before flipping him off me with my feet.

Moving over to the crowd, she picked out her next opponent: Terrence. Obviously, he had started this mess, and she was going to finish it. For some reason, he had some kind of grudge against Nix's friends, and Nix wanted it to stop.

Her rage was overpowering her now, as her fist caught Terrance's stomach as he flew through the air, causing him to come to a full on stop and drop to the ground. His shoulder cracked on the ground as he let out an agonizing moan of pain.

She loomed over his body, breathing hard. She was holding herself back now, as best as she could. Nix felt like this was Clara's opportunity to redeem herself, to finish him off if she so wished.

Anna

I could hear the fighting. I could hear Clara and the other vampress. They were fighting amongst werewolves...Clara was fighting for me...she was avenging me, what I had lost, what had happened to me...

This is something I have to do myself, I finally concluded, suddenly feeling a bit braver. I'll never recover unless I face him again...even if Clara is trying to help me. I'll only recover on my own...

There was no stopping now. I was already speeding towards the congregation, fists curled and fangs bared. I felt like a fool, wishing to fight him again. But I had to do it...I had to! I would kill if I had to, but I was saving the rest for Terrence.

"Hey, there's the other!" one of the wolves stopped and snarled at me. "Terrence, it's your little friend!" The mockery in his tone infuriated me.

I punched him with so much force, I could hear the cartilage of his nose shift backwards, into his skull, and kill him instantly.

"Clara!" I called into the crowd. "Leave Terrence! He's mine!"

Anna's scent was fast approaching, but the scent of these weres blood was way more enticing to her nose. Nix's head snapped back at Anna's words, infuriated, for she was the one standing over Terrence's now crippled body, and just now Anna wanted to get brave and step in? A little late, wasn't she? Once Nix's rage took over her, it was hard for her to stop.

Grinning, she stepped back, away from the werewolf lying on the ground in front of her. If she wanted Terrance, she could have him. Nix stalked over to the were Anna had punched, and hit just hard enough to knock him out.
She moved over to the wall of the alley to watch and cool off.

((Hey, Ayumi, how about we tone down the killing...we'll need these wolves for later, so Amber has a point with just knocking out your initial "kill"...))

Clara

Anna burst through the crowd and Terrence's form flew through the air. He crashed against the wall. I felt my mind clear when I saw Anna. She had actually come to fight. Her bravery had returned, whether temporarily or permanent I didn't know, but my rage faded and I came to the realization of what we were doing.

Before I could get to Anna, Slade appeared and grabbed her arms, pinning them behind her back and restraining her from killing Terrence.

"Anna, stop! This is unfair, Terrence can't defend himself!" Slade struggled to hold Anna back. Nix stood next to where I lay on the concrete, she was shuddering with the intensity of her rage, but she managed to clam down. She turned to me and offered me a hand and helped me up.Riley and Colt had managed to incapacitate the other wolves, and stood next to me and Nix, watching Slade struggle with Anna.

Anna snapped and snarled at the unconscious Terrence, blind with anger. I focused on Anna and managed to get a hold on her.

"Let go, Slade." I said calmly. Slade let go a little reluctantly and stepped back. I approached Anna, her eyes were blazing red. "Anna, listen to me. It's over. You've made your point." I said soothingly. Some of the other wolves hurried past us and hauled their comrades from the alley.

"Yeah! Come back on our territory again, mangy mutts!" Colt yelled after them. Anna quit struggling and her eyes faded to their natural color and she looked at the ground, ashamed.

Danny and I ran through the forest back towards our own territory. We were both in human form and both bare foot but now the grass was soft below my feet and the air caressed my skin.

"Catch me if you can!" I called back to Danny, bounding past trees and over bushes.

"Oh? And what do I win?" He called back, drawing alongside of me.

"How about we discuss terms after you catch me?" I winked and then he jumped forward and pulled me into his arms.

"That would be now," Danny whispered, kissing me gently on the neck over and over again, moving closer to my lips with each touch. Suddenly he drew back and held me at arm's length.

"Why was you with those vampires? On their territory?" Danny asked.

"Just wanted a little excitement," I replied, attempting to lean my head on his shoulder. He suffered this for a minute or two and then drew back.

"I don't want you going there again. It's dangerous and I'll not have you talking with those vile creatures."

"Relax Danny. I'll be careful. And some of them are decent people."

"Decent people? You call those dirty vampires decent people!"

I had lost it...I had lost my cool, my control...I could've killed somebody...Anybody, in fact...

"Thanks," I mumbled at Clara, still looking at the ground.

Being brave again felt good, but my anger was terrifying...I hated that...

Riley smiled, Anna had gained courage, though weither it was a good thing or not was unknown. She looked around and smiled, there were any weres around.

"Wheres the were that was with you, Olivia?" She asked,

"She was with that other were. They just dissappeared." Slade replied,

"Ok," She looked around again and then walked back towards the woods, she had had to much comotion for one day. Colt slowly followed keeping an eye on the other vampires. He smiled a welcome to Anna and Clara before he left.

Nix stood amongst the shadows, her back against the wall of a building. She sunk down to the ground slowly, and sat for a moment. What would have happened had she let her anger take over completely? Would she have hurt her new friends?

She breathed out slowly, and watched the others head out. Olivia had taken off with that other were, and she could tell she probably wouldn't be coming back. Anna and Clara obviously knew each other like sisters, for Anna seemed to relax when the other was around.

Colt and Riley headed back to the woods, maybe to hunt. Hunting wouldn't be a bad idea after this little fight had brought out the blood. She laughed under her breath a little at this thought, for she could bet her methods of hunting were a little different from theirs.
