"Did you do anything to any of these people? You still see them on breaks, don't you? Do any of them know you're a witch, besides your family? ANyone who might resent it?" Sara was rambling as she paced the small room. She was worried; it was obvious to anyone who knew her.

*back... once again... peekaboo!!!*

Sedry flew across the quidditch field, his hands gripped tightly on the broom. So much had enveloped his mind, and this was his only stress relief. Everything cleared as the wind whipped across his face, and a small smile streaked across his face.

He twisted and turned through the rings, moving with grace beyond his usual self. The pure energy that surged through him pushed his talents, letting him dive and turn quickly, pulling complicated movements.

He felt eyes follow him, and quickly dropped to the ground.

A man, dressed in the famous bulgarian quidditch robes.

"Good flying." he said, looking Sedry up and down. "Best I have seen for a long time."

Sedry wiped the sweat from his brow. "Who are you?"

The man grinned. "The name is Viktor Krum, coach of the bulgarian quidditch team. Want to join?"
if you were to die today, would you be able to tell yourself that you did everything you wanted and everything you could?

"I... I don't see them anymore," I admitted biting down hard on my lip. "I don't go home during the breaks."

"But what about at Summer?" Sara asked. I shook my head.

"No, I stay with my aunt at Summer. It's a rather isolated location and we don't talk. I'm bad blood." I shrugged and smiled weakly to try and make light of the situation but there was no avoiding the pain in my voice.

"Don't be silly," Lindsay protested. "Slytherins aren't all bad. We make our own choices in life just as the others do."

"She's right," Sara agreed. "Now come on, this is not getting us anywhere. We need a plan of escape."

Jesse flew around the grounds gripping his broom with white knuckels. He had asked around all day for where Kate was but the only her house said was that she got up in bed and that was the last time they saw her. He was thinking of where she could have gone. He had never cared this much about a person before. He passed a turret on the castle and in the distance he saw two shapes talking to one another. He flew a little closer and saw that it was Sedry and someone in Bulgarian colors.
"So, I was thinking, I've always wanted to ride a TaunTaun."
"Ummmm....I asked you answer the math problem on the board."
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did."
"Yeah well, that's your opinion."...............A conversation between my teacher and I.

I took a deep breath and looked around.

"We need to find out where we are. If only we knew that we might be able to get out...but that seems like almost impossible to figure out for sure...but we just...we have to get out!" I hit my fist against the wall and then curled back from the pain. Ok that was stupid...

"Linds just calm down. We will get out." Sara said and laid a hand on my shoulder. I sighed.

"I know...but...what if we don't?"

"Don't talk like that!" Kate shouted.

"Sorry..." I leaned against the wall and looked up at the rough ceiling. "Where do you two think we are?"
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

**I'm grounded...don't expect much posting for a while.**

"A dark room?" Sara answered meekly, pacing the room at a fast rate.

"Obviously," Kate answered, rolling her eyes.

"Any advance on a dark room?" Lindsay sighed.

"Maybe somewhere in Hogsmede? Or under Hogwarts?" I suggested.

"Yeah, it has to be close by," Lindsay agreed.

"Why?" Sara asked. "We don't even know what time it is. We could have been unconscious for days as far as we know!"

"Good point," I sighed.

"Back to a dark room then," Lindsay mumbled, just the hint of a smile fleeting across her face.

"Well let's be prepared. They have to feed us sooner or later and there might be a chance to escape," I suggested.

Haru

I wake up to the sound of girls talking. Talking! People!

Slowly I shift to sit up and stare around the darkness. One of the girls gasps.

"What's that?"

"What?"

"Something moved"

"Hey", I interupted their panic. "Don't worry, I'm not a bad guy". I crawl toward where they sit together and sit up straight. A deep sigh follows. It's too dark to see exactly who is speaking, though I think there's three of them.

"Who are you?"

"Me? Haru, first year griffindor, pleasure to meet you". By the awful silence hanging in the air, i guess formalities aren't very welcome. "You're right. They do feed us. Occasionally they throw someone in, or take someone out too. Perhaps they forgot about me.

"I've never actually been into hogwarts before. I was on the train, trying to get away from some of the older slytherins, so i hid under the seat in an empty carriage.

"A terrifying chap came in with two accomplices. They where talking about come vengance plot that I assume nobody was supposed to know about.
Next thing, I'm here"

"Vengance?" One of them gasps. Her voice is full of inquisition and fear.

"Ahh. One of you must be... Kathy is it? No, wait". Great time to forget the details. "Kelsy? Kate, that's it. The one they call The Traitor"

Welcome!

Kate

"I'm Kate but 'The Traitor'? I don't understand..." I squinted in the dark, trying to make out the boy's features. He appeared to have fair hair and dark eyes but other than that, I could only guess.

"What else did they say?" Lindsay demanded.

"Something about some friends of hers getting in the way. Oh and a prophecy was mentioned. Other than that..." the boys shoulders moved as he shrugged.

"A prophecy?" Sarabella gasped.

"That's right. What are your names by the way? And houses. Are you in Griffindor too? Not that I was actually sorted of course but I'm pretty sure I'm a Griffindor."

"Well you already seem to know my name and these are my friends Sarabella and Lindsay. We're all in..." I hesitated, unsure of how he'd react. "Slytherin."

I smiled, moving around in the dark. Eventually, yet somewhat unexpectantly, I found the boy. He was sitting on a bed, near the corner.

"Slytherin?" The boy was making sure he heard right, but dind't seem worried. I heard the tinge in his voice, although none of the otehrs did.

"Yes," I replied. "May I sit here?"

"Of course," I sat next to the boy.

"Why are you shaking?" he asked suddenly.

"Cold." I answered. He dind't know...I just realized that no one here knew. He reached out to touch me, but I pulled back. Icould smell his blood. Twas not a good thing.

<Haru>

Slytherins? From what I've heard, Slytherins are bad. Though, they can't all be bad. These three seem nice, I think. Since they're locked up by the bad guys, I guess it's safe to assume they're the good guys, at least for now anyway.

One of the girls sits beside me, and after a few seconds I become aware of her trembling beside me.

'Why are you shaking?' I ask.

'Cold,' she says briskly.

I reach out to touch her. Partially to comfort her, also to feel the comfort of someone who isn't hostile. One of those things people do when words don't seem to fit.

She pulls away suddenly.

'Sorry.' Maybe that was too much. 'So how did you three end up in here? Is it an interesting story? I need something to entertain me.' There's a brief silence, followed by another slow sigh. 'Don't worry. This place isn't so bad, once you get used to it.' Once again no-one replies.

Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to say for encouragement.

I picked at my shoe and concentrated on it.

"Really, it isn't that bad." The Haru kid said again. I sighed.

"Not too bad? I'm sorry, but I'd much rather be in my bed or at dinner with my friends than in a dark prison cell!" My voice raised and all of them winced.

I stood up. "I can't believe this! I can't be in here! I didn't do anything! Whoever put us in here, Show Your Face!!! Come in here now!!!! Come out you cowards!!!" I stormed around and threw stuff around and shouted at walls. I fell to the hard floor and hugged my knees and cried into them.

The sound of a door slamming open came to my ears and all our heads turned to the origin of it.
