**kitty15 - read this and you'll understand**


He woke up his head hurting.
"Where am i?" the man said then added "More importantly who am i?"
"You are A.k 5" came a voice
"Who are you?" the man asked
"I am your master" the voice said.
"How am i to trust you".
The cloaked figure used his magic to spread seeds of evil into the mans head.
"You like to kill, don't you" said the voice to test his magic
"Kill?.....yes kill" smiled the man
"who are you?" asked the cloaked figure smiling, the cloaked figure knew that the man was under his control now.
"I am...i am A.k 5, trained assassin and you are my master" said A.k 5 his features becoming evil.
A.k 5 looked at his swords, then hissed smiling "Who must i kill?"

"Will you train" asked the cloaked figure
A.k 5 the swords to his hands. somehow the swords felt familiar to his hands. he twisted them slightly and then faster.
"No i will kill now" hissed A.k 5
"Go to the forest kill all things animal, humans, elves and all, but leave a woman name Ariana" said the cloaked figure.
A.k 5 stood there puzzled, the name Ariana seemed familiar to him. Then suddenly the feeling washed away
"Yes master, gladly" replied A.k 5

Lilly

"So that's it? We leave him?" Kate asked.
"Yes. The mission is too important," Ariana decided, vaulting into her saddle. Reluctantly we all climbed upon our horses and began to trek further through the woods when a figure stumbled into our midst. Well, stumbled is the wrong word. He eyed us all as though he knew us but couldn't quite remember from and then he straightened up and drew two swords.
"Arias?" Alexynia gasped, "We thought we'd lost you."

A puzzled gaze swept through the figure and once more there was that flicker of recognition before the wind snuffed it out and he approached.
"Which of you is Ariana?" The voice didn't sound quite right, a slow, unfamiliar drawl.
"I think we should go," Tera murmured.
"There's something not right," I agreed.
Yes. Run. Run. A voice whispered in my mind, barely audible.
"We have to run. We have to ride fast," I commanded, urging my horse into a gallop. Tera followed but the others didn't seem to understand. Had they not heard his voice? Was the link only with me?

A.k 5 looked at them riding their horses. He would give them time to live their last hours. Then A.k 5 frowned, he could not kill anyone untill he knew who Ariana was.
A.k 5 walked up the path they had taken. He would get them soon.
"Very soon" A.k 5 whispered.

"What was wrong with Arias?" Kate asked, to no one in paticular. No one had an answer, either.

"Didn't he die back there in the cave? Thats what you said, Lilly." Tera said.

"Yea, i know. I thought he had. But...that wasnt Arias." Lilly said. Kate agreed. It seemed that that Arias didnt reconize them, and he had the look of bloodlust in his eyes. Kate shivered involuntarily.

*srry, thats all i got rite now.*

A.k 5 walked up the path. Killing was fun, but torture was better.

Tera glanced behind her and caught the outline of a figure.

"We're being followed, we got to get out of here." She said her horse moving around uneasy.

"Maybe it is Arias," Lilly said,

"If it is he'll find us later. WE GOT TO GET AWAY." Tera replied, something was wrong, her horse was never this fidgity.

Lilly

"Listen, I think someone is controlling Arias and he needs help but right now the mission is too important for us to risk it on the chance that we can make him remember who he is," Ariana decided firmly as we galloped faster and faster through the trees.
"But what is our mission?" Kate demanded, "You haven't explained anything."
"Yeah, Arias was going to explain that to you," Alexynia replied.
"So you wont tell us?" I asked curiously.

"Uh, could we discuss this later? Arias is fast and he's gaining on us!" Tera exclaimed. I spared a glance back and sure enough, he wasn't far behind, a cold, calculative look in his eyes.
"We're going to have to split up," Ariana realised.
"No chance. He's after you and you seem to know the most about where we're going," I protested.
"But he doesn't remember which of us is Ariana," Alexynia pointed out, "And we can re-group not far from here at a clearing. It's hard to miss."
"Then wont he notice it?" Kate wondered.
"Yeah but only those with good intentions can enter. It's protected by the forest's magic," Ariana explained.

"Then less talk and more riding," Tera said, "If you get caught, don't say anything, period. I'm riding with Ariana." With that they spilt up and rode towards the clearing.

***I'm confused....sorry I missed so much, I got grounded....again. Can someone fill me in on where my character is, or am I screwed?***

No problem. Your character is Alexynia right? Well basically, they started their journey and were attacked by a group of guards. There were too many to fight so Arias teleported the group and a small number of guards to a forest. There, the group killed the last few guards and resumed their journey but they were tired so they began to look for a place to rest. They found a sort of underground cave and, while Lilly and Kate went to turn the horses invisible so they wouldn't be stolen (One of Lilly's spells), the others entered the cave and were knocked unconscious by some sort of spell. They woke up in seperate cells (Except Ariana who found herself upstairs in a nice room) and a man started asking Arias questions and torturing him. Meanwhile, Lilly and Kate returned to the cave and found their friends gone so Lilly cast a seeking spell which left her very vulnerable so Kate changed into a wolf to protect her. The spell led them deeper into the cave where they found the cells. Kate opened the cell Tera was in while Lilly found the one occupied by Arias and the stranger. She fought with the stranger while Arias used his and Lilly's magic to telleport all of them back outside except himself and the stranger. Then Arias was hypnotised and can't remember who he is and has been sent to kill all of them except for Ariana. In the last few posts, he caught up with them while they were mounting their horses and now they've split up and are trying to reach a clearing where only people with good intentions can enter and they'll be safe from him.

Maybe read the last two or three posts to get a better idea of recent events but I think I covered most of it. Hope this helps and isn't too long to read,

A.k 5 looked at the two paths. They had split up. A.k 5 smiled, this was one of the things he liked a lot. A.k 5 used his magic and levitated, then he turned to the left and flew that way. He would catch them and use them as bait to lure the others. Then he would torture them until they spoke. A.k 5 smiled he loved killing.

Kate, Lilly and Alexynia rode east, heading in almost the exact direction of the clearing.
