Alice swung her sword at Heather, who blocked it. "You're getting good," Alice remarked. She pulled out her dagger and used a double weapon trick she picked up.

"Oh and thats fair?"

"You can teleport!" Alice smacked her with the side of her blade and she was out. Alice did a short victory dance and turned to Scipio who had just fled from Bella.

"Hey, that's my sister!" Scipio exclaimed, catching Heather and lowering her to the ground before grinning across at Alice.

"Someone needs to teach her to fight dirty and to expect her opponent to have hidden weapons," Alice responded as she began to circle him. Scipio raised the mace above his head and fell into step with her movements. By now, only Alice, Bella, Adam and Scipio remained standing.

"Who took Chris out?" Bella wondered, noticing his unconscious form.

"Nutty did but Rick got her," Adam replied, approaching the trio.

"And who got Rick?" Alice asked.

"Me," Adam admitted proudly.

Alice grinned and turned back to Scipio, "perhaps you could use a lesson on real sword fighting."

He gave a sly smile, and extended his arm, "care to teach me?"

"With pleasure," she lunged. He steped out of the way and blocked the sword. Alice flipped her dagger in her hand twice, just to show off, but she nearly dropped it when it turned into another sword. "Lesson one: don't underestimate your opponet." Now using both swords she attacked, he was struggeling with his one weapon, "lesson two: don't underestimate yourself or your weapons."

He lunged, and when Alice stepped out of the way he tapped Bella on the shoulder. "Oops," he said.

Adam twilred his pole. He used telekinesis so he didn't really have to hold it. It whistled as it spun. Bella faltered when Scipio touched her shoulder giving Adam the advantage.

A quick pulse of telekinesis knocked her off balance. Adam shot forth. She regained quickly and blocked.

Bella twirled around and caught Adam in the back of the leg.

Bella happened to hit Adam in exactly the right spot, and he fell foreword. Bella and Alice exchanged quick glances, and began poking Adam with their weapons.

"One, Two, Three," the counted aloud, until he was out. They turned back to Scipio.

*Alice,* Bella said in her head.

*Yup?*

*I vote we team up on Scipio, then kill each other at the same time,* she suggested.

*Brilliant* Alice agreed, and they lunged at Scipio. He was out in no time.

*How many hits have you had?" Bella asked.

*one*

*Same here. Tap me with you're dagger at the same time that I tap you with my sword.* the did so simulatneously, killing each other at the same time.

"That's not fair!" Heather cried as the others gained conciousness.

"Yeah, we wanna know who's better!" Chris and Rick agreed. Matt sat up and rubbed his head.

"I bet they were working together from the start!" Nutty declared, leaping to her feet.

"Can we practice some more? I want to try again," Heather added.

"I think I'll sit this one out," Rick decided.

"Me too," Adam groaned. "I'm going to check our position."

"What about you, Scipio?" Alice asked as he dragged himself to his feet.

"I suppose one more couldn't hurt but how about teams this time?"

"Teams?" Adam called, re-entering the room. "I like the sound of that."

"Okay," Bella agreed.

"But who's with who?" Heather asked.

"I'm with Adam," Nutty decided.

"Care to partner me, Alice?" Scipio queried.

Alice grinned, "if you can handle yourself, get a better weapon."

"Like what?"

Alice drew her claymore and handed it to him. "Try this."

"This things frickin huge!"

"Yeah, thats the point."

"I can't use this, I can barely lift it."

Alice took his free hand and put it on the blade, the feel of his skin on hers made her heart jump, "its a two handed sword."

Realization dawned in his eyes, "ooooh."

Heather and Bella decided two magic swords were better than one, leaving Matt without a partner. He slumped over and sat next to Rick.

Adam keyed in the program for the round, "This will be fun. Each person can take 15 hits. Dont let your team mate go down, if one falls you both fall."

The room aded into a large meadow. The sun beamed on them as they circled each other.

"Begin training round two," The computer chimed and the match was on.

"WAIT!!!" Bella cried right as the bell rang. "Matt, you can partner with Chris!"

"Alright!" Matt jumped up and joined his partner. Adam sighed and waited for the computer to speak.

"Begin training round two." the computer said.

Bella and Heather fought back to back, fending off attacks left and right. Matt was out immediatly, because he decided to attack Bella, and Heather took out Chris at the same time.

Just as Bella finished Matt, Heather hit Chris for the fifteenth time and both reluctantly moved to the side.

"Good work. How many hits did you take?" Heather asked, still back to back with Bella.

"Three," She replied, "How about you?"

"Four," Heather answered happily just as Nutty charged forwards like a mad woman, wielding the weapon above her head.

"Shouldn't you be keeping an eye on your partner?" Heather asked her, dodging a blow.

"He's fighting Alice and Scipio," She replied as Bella landed a hit to her side.

"And you think he can handle both of them?" Bella asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yup," Nutty replied simply.

"Even if he can, what makes you think you can take both of us?" Heather wondered.

Alice lunged at Adam, hitting him twice. The first time on purpose the second time on accident.

The ship jolted, not good.

"What was that?"

"That was something bad... Disengage training program!" Adam shouted.

They all ran out of the room and onto the bridge.

"Warning. Warning. Enemy Vessels on starboard side," chimed the Computer. Adam glanced sideways at the Spammian Destroyer. Fighters were pelting out of its underside and firing at the Highwind.

"Computer, Acivate agressive protacol 1525."

"Affrimative." Several vollies of pulse cannon fire burst from the Highwinds main Starboard Cannon.

"We need some fighters out there," Adam called to the others. Bella, Rick, Chris and Scipio headed for the hangers. "Everyone else find a turret, unless you belong on the bridge."

"Wait!" Heather called to Scipio as he headed for the hangers. "Here. Take my sword, you need a propper weapon."

"Thanks, Heather," Scipio replied, taking hold of the weapon.

"I need it back though..."

"Okay. See you soon." With that, Bella, Rick, Chris and Scipio exited the ship.

Adam jumped into his Captains chair and took control of the ship. The fighters pelted out of the side, opening fire at once on the Spammian fighters.

The Highwind turned towards the Spammians, giving the turrets a better shot at hitting it.

"Enemy vessel's shields at 75%" chimed the computer.

Alice heard and laughed, "this is way too easy." She shot a missle at it, destroying another part of the sheild.

Realization dawned on Adam, "you're right it is! They're distracting us!" He sent a message to the fighters, "get your butts back in here now!"

The fighters retreated, and soon the bridge was once again full.

"Adam!" Heather shouted "Whats going on?"

"They're just drawing out atteniton away from something else."

"From what?"
