NaNoWriMo 2007

I seriously can't wait now. *catches nano fever*

I can't wait either.
It's going to be my first nano, so I need some serious tips.

I didn't even decide on my story outline! Help me..... I have some choices, but I don't think I could make them into a 50,000 story in 30 DAYS! What kind of story should I write in such a short period of time?

Oh God, a whole novel? As in, not procrastinating anymore?!? You know, I want to do it, but I want to take my time on my novel I'm working on. I want it to be good. I want to write a classic.

I just don't know!!!

That's the beauty of editing, Mary dearest. I can't remember who said it, but there's a quote somewhere that says the only thing you can't edit is a blank page. And we will definitely not have blank pages once December rolls around!

I'm going to try and drag a bunch of people at school into it so that I'll have online and real-life support. Should be fun.

Wiggy, that's why you just pick a random idea and go with it. Last year, I was still really into Chronicles of Taer, so I decided to do something completely different -- and Kiens' Battle is what came out. Finished, too.

I'm doing it this year! I did it last year to but I failed terribly >D

I shall prevail! I have a proper story idea this time! I think I'm driving my mother insane.

I did it least year and ended up with a real whopper of a word count. This year, I'm going to be squeezing it in around coursework, so I don't think I'll get anywhere near what I got last year. But hopefully I'll hit 50,000. *is nervous*

This is going to be my first ever NaNoWriMo. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find an agent and publish my book. There is no 'if I finish it' I'm finishing it, no matter what anyone tells me. hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe

I don't express my goals in numbers. It's quality, not quantity! I want to go back and revise my older work, but haven't gotten to it.

So expect lots of 'Tearstone Tales' material in the next year.

Dude. You're missing the entire point of NaNo. It's about getting the story down on paper/Word document, and ignoring your inner editor. It's about pushing creative brain energies to the limit, and screw quality for 30 days. >_>"
