mannyy ppl thik that grammer & spelling is imprtant but i don't think its rli imprtant cuz in teh end, its not how u say something but wat u say dat countz. lyke, i can hav teh most best stry but der sum ppl who say it sucks cuz the speling and grammer. dis only mens dat dey didn't payy atention to teh mesage or teh story and dat meanz der stupid. so dont listn to anything any1 stupid says cuz dey dont men anything and u shud totallyz go fur ur dreamz.

I laughed (inwardly) so much at that quote! It's so true! Although I read it in The Wee Free Men, also by Terry Pratchett. He combines comedy and fantasy so well!

Scientifically, people can read things as long as the first and last letters are correct. After that, the letters can be as mixed up as possible, and still be understood.
That being said, some (like me) disagree with this research, because we can point out typos like that easily, because it doesn't look right.
