Sounds like a short story title, because it is in itself sort of a story. It is part of a dialog. Doesn't tell much about the actual story though... If it got good reviews I'd read it.

Umm....oh gosh...erm... I think, an old 70s story of lust, vengance, love, and s**, like, jackie collins style, that takes place in Las Vegas
So, I would read it, and then read it over, cuz I probally missed a few things the first time.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Unforgivable Curse in Harry Potter, although that's lacking one I, compared to what you posted. So I'm thinking ... Potterverse angst fic?
My first thought was the final episode of the Series of Unfortunate Events. But then, it could be any final book in a series. I wouldn't expect it to be a very long book, more a short, comical, one.
The Unicorn Hunters
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
Because the way unicorns are typically portrayed, I would assume their hunters are bad people. So that would make the story about this bad group of people who hunt unicorns. Sounds a bit plain to be honest. I would still look at the back cover to read a bit more about what the story is about, but I dunno. I don't personally like unicorns enough to read a book solely about them so I don't think I'd read it unless there was some other amazing element in it that the title does not allude to.

Really long for a title; I almost expect it to be subtitle. Anyway, I'm guessing a Cold War I story that uses lots of illusions to Icarus and the WWII planes/pilots and flying too close to the sun being a pretty literary phrasing for the atomic bomb. I'd probably read, Greek mythology and WWII history being two of my great passions in life.
Reminds me of those old cartoons where the two animal characters wonder into the "House of the Future" and all hell breaks loose. Probably futuristic, with seeminly perfect world, which is, of course, all a shame and the characters have to expose it for what it is. I'd probably pick it up.

A moving story that envolves two people meeting skating; and they fall in love, have a long and tangled relationship which ends in a sad, but triumphant way, with one of the characters - probally the man - dying.

It sounds intoxicating! Opium is a curious drug, and I always think of the 19th century since it was used then. They don't use it much now? It got turned into heroin, I believe. And poets attached to it? It sounds so cool... I'd love to read it!

I'm getting some pretty sweet golden age of Hollywood/roaring 20s vibes. Something like The Great Gastby meets The Picture of Dorian Grey, only with more sparkle, pizzaz, murder, death, and really excellent jazz bands. May or may not have a subltle fantasy element, like Dangerous Angels. I'd read.
