Very comical, although much too long. It could be condensed, or rather, set up differnetly. Questions from sidekicks: If I can blow up the world, why am I doing batman's laundry? this gives it a different look, and makes the second part (my first part) the main title, and the question part sort of the subtitle. Either way, I'd buy it xD

Too long...Though interesting enough. It makes me wonder, and that is enough to make me look at it long enough to wonder some more, and pick it up, and read the back, right? Yes. I think its intrigue surpasses its annoying length.

Ooops this was for Claudette's.

Mmmmm... Poem? A poetry anthology? I'd buy it.

:D

Baroness's

Hmm, a comedy, sounds fun. It sounds absurd. I'd look at it.

Grave Girl
Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

(Oh darn. I meant pair. I hate my spelling)

I like the double entendre of the word "grave". Is she grave=sad, grave=ill, grave=...grave. xD Its unique in that form. And, it is also two G words, which gives it a nice look. I'd pick it up. It really makes me wonder. Is there a girl that hangs around graves? or perhaps she is depressed? Maybe she is dying? It could go many ways.

Ak too late: Here's Caligula's Launderette review

Sounds like a story somewhat like Speak, with a very depressed, morbid girl as the MC. And she can see ghost. I would probably pick it up, if the summary were intresting.

And here's Claudette's

The word selected makes me think of "Natural Selection". Maybe a story about an arranged marriage or something of the sort, with a twist (probably sinister) in it. They'll probably end up falling in love dispite not being together willingly.

Forest Parker's School for the Gifted

(Fantasy, just thought I'd add that...)

I'm guessing one of those random, irreverant stories that younger teens find amusing and the rest of the world can't stand. Probably focues on a girls attempts to woo the boy of her dreams, who is also the most popular boy in school, etc. Bad vibes.

[s]Reminds me of Who stole my cheese? purely because of its food connection. Probably wouldn't pick it up; too foolish. Might be a children's book, or something.[/s]

Darn, I was slow.

Ghostyverse: the word combination is annoying, and I'm not sure I have any idea what it would be about. Sounds like some strange sci-fi.

It seems bitter, and like it'd be about a modern arranged marriage, where the two don't like each other at all, and never do. There would be a lot of angst and rage and cheating involved. Either that or some other type of messed up romance. I'd definitely read the first few pages.

Reminds me of viruses, or dying babies. (How morbid?) The word failure is so harsh, and cold, than something like "inability" or "not" even. Thrive is an amazing word. It's structured so nicely, I would pick it up and hope it was about something really good. Sounds like someone having life issues, and so, failing to thrive in their life. Or even someone sick with... I forget which disease, one of the several that practically shuts your body down and keeps you from thriving. I would love to read it :-D

Sounds childlike. Or perhaps it is a science manual set up in an unusual way?
