Dan, please chill.

I have an idea.

We find some castle supposudly where the evil is coming from, Its a castle on the mountains that over looks sedgely and we could possibly see the fire balls coming from the direction of the castle. And its got tunnels underneath the castle. And we take on the castle partially for revenge (destruction of sedgely, possibly killing of liam, and maybe if you want add even more motives the stealing of the egg).

so cyrus, henry, and sirloaz go in the tunnels,  and everyone else takes on the castle. Cyrus and co. encounter duregar and the others incounter dark clerics/preists.

The thing is lets say we barely make it out alive (we fail). Then the night after we escape there is a disruption of power, the duregar fighting with the preists/clerics. We take another chance, through an scaling the side of the castle for some, or possibly a secret escape tunnel.
Life's a B*tch, slap it upside the head.

Dargquon Ql'deleodna: (n) "Dar-qu-on Kel-del-ode-na" something i made up that sounded cool, partially based off of the Drow Drizzt Do'Urden's name style

Wait, what? I'm confused.

sabradan wrote:No. I don't like that for multiple reasons:
1. We already decided that Sedgeley was to be destroyed
2. It makes us all look like bumbling buffoons if we get lost but a bear and a griffon somehow can find there way,
3. I'm getting sick and tired of you trying to be the hero of the storybook, Grif. You're acting quite n00bish, if you ask me.

I say this:
Alden can go after Ursa if he wants. The group barely notices Ursa is missing, and are too exhausted/injured to go after a griffon (who can fly, after all)
They go through the caves and eventually get out in Sedgeley, or what WAS sedgeley meeting Alden and Ursa there.

1. Is nothing new.

2. It is very easy to get lost in the dark in a place you've never been before. Ursa has an excellent sense of smell and Alden's the only one that can convince Ursa to find them.

3. Alden is a big hero to the peasants (his deeds have been well publicized) but the big hero of the storybook? I don't think so. Everyone has been performing bravely, to the point where few stand out.

Some of the authors were chatting in the chatroom. This is the results of it.

1. Liam, Finn's brother, is going to die.

2. In the near future, we will rendezvous with the settlers.

3. The egg that Alden has will hatch in Sedgeley.

Snoink and I talked about the storybook on our walk.

It seems like Valin is the one with the greatest growth potential (from prince in exile to King of the Elves) and with a little character development, he'd be good for the role. Before this happens though, he'd need to give the others in the group a reason to help him.

DQ, I'm not really sure your idea is right for the story, at least not yet.

What do you guys think?

Okay Adrian is having second thoughts i think that maybe he should have something change his mind. So i'm thinking that he tries to heal someone in Sedghly(or however it spelt i'm in a hurry) He tries desperately to heal this person (help me come up with reason), but even though he tries his hardest the person dies. It's an idea and it would makes sense since nobody he tried to help have died it would wake him up and make him realize that he's needed.

Maybe he tries to heal the sole survivor? Liam?

EDIT: as per Grif's request...

My Plan for the Caverns:

The remnants of the party set off through the cavern, using Finn's knowledge of the area and Sirloaz's survival skills to navigate.

They would make it out with no problems, except for the fact that they run across a trap laid by the goblins and their "accomplices." The tunnel collapses downward on the hearoes, and they are dropped into a separate set of caverns beneath them. Sirloaz is separated from the group, dropped into yet another cavern.

Will keep you updated as wel progress!
Got YWS? I do.

Bloomin heck i had a good post going on more off Adrian background, but damn these computer making me sign in every 5 minutes. I lost it basically it like this Adrian was asked by a soldeir in the war to kill him, but Adrian couldn't do it and the soldier tried to explain that everyone dies, then he got shot with a arrow in the neck. Well that reason why Adrian became a Paladin to help people. Damn i so p*+=** off i'll try recreate it at home bloody hell. :x

I like all the plans so far... Siegi, were you planning on trying to heal Finn's brother? Or were you going to use someone else from the village (child, etc)? Just so I can slightly realign my thoughts on Finn's reaction, either way. ;)

I've randomly put together a subplot which I think Seraph can explore further when he crashes to a lower level of tunnels/caverns..

I'm looking forward to seeing the destruction of Sedgeley: plenty of development for my character, since Henry's village was raided when he was younger, his whole family killed, and he was forced into stealing and killing to stay alive for a while. As you can see he never really stopped.

Good potential!

So, yeah, anyway, just letting you know that Henry might got a bit weird when we get to Sedgeley. He's been a bit too dull at the moment anyway.

As for the Caverns, I think it would be much better if we made it out on our own, minus Ursa and Alden. Why? Develops a sense of teamwork. It's pretty boring just getting saved. I'd like to see some members working together (no one-person heroics) to solve the problem. After all, we have a dwarf (who can navigate underground well) and two trackers, so it's not going to be a massive hindrance anyway.

I'd like to point out that under no circumstances would a griffin and a talking bear be able to save a party like this one. Unless we were in dire need of catching fish. Or hatching things from precious stones.

It won't be a rescue mission. More of a "Oh THERE you are!" as we're coming out of the mountain.

Mhmm...

Personally, there has just been SO much fighting.

*gets down on hands and knee's*

Can't we please...please, get on to something besides fighting the stupid goblins? I like the idea of wandering lost around in the tunnels for a while and then finding the way out. It's very simple.

*sighs*

Of course, I'll pretty much go along with whatever you guys decided...

I assure you, there will be no big fights for the party in my plot line--even I don't like to fight all the time, lol

EDIT: Jigsy, will you PM me with your idea for Seraph, please? :)

Indeed, but um just a quick question: Why in the world would a dwarven door open for an elf?
