At the moment I figure it's best if we leave the thing that attacked the dragon a mystery. It's not a big deal at this second, and we can come back to it and flesh it out later.

The plans for Sedgeley are still on--the "fireballs" that hit the dragon could also have decimated the town.

Note: Seraph may or may not be dead--he's a tough bugger, and his armor is pretty resilient but honestly I haven't decided yet what I want to happen to him. Y'all can vote on it if you like.
Got YWS? I do.

Lumi: Don't you drag my donobby into this.

Hey you guys, I'm feeling a little bit like you're ignoring my character.

Of course, I know you aren't intentionally, but don't be afraid to make my elf say something or appear in your post (but don't take over her!), I love having the challenge of explaining WHY she did that in MY post. :) Savvy?

I think part of the problem is that her personality isn't very well established yet, so we're--or at least I'm--a little wary of butchering her nature inadvertently. And I did include some Carmenia in my latest post, you'll note! :D

EDIT: Don't kill off Seraph! *puppy eyes*

misspriss >> you make an appearance in my entry as a blur. Sorry about that -- but half-dying characters don't tend to pick up names too quickly, or see too well.

Anyway, I'm up to suggestions about Henry's fate too. It's up to whoever posts next about my character.

I understand, but I just don't want you to be afraid to have my character say something, even if you don't know her personality that much, heck, I don't even know her personality that much!

Ah, I see what you mean about the blur, actually, I really appreciate that, even if it is a blur...:D

Henry must not die! I refuse to allow this to happen! Some dwarven brew, whoever posts next make Cyrus give Henry some Lorae; twill help but ah, wont do much for Seraph though. He needs help lol.

I agree with Jiggity, Henry must not die! He is too a unique character to die, and we will not allow it. *smug face*

Fair enough!

Anyway, what are we planning to happen next? We're stuck in a cave with several injured characters -- Seraph who has been crushed and will probably be unconscious for a long time, Henry whose bleeding won't stop, and a number of other grazes and wounds. Someone we have to keep everyone alive until we reach Sedgeley.

Of course, it would be an amusing twist if Sedgeley no longer existed (fireballs and the like.)

Dead-on, Jack... I believe that was the general plan. ;) Though I take this opportunity to reiterate that I call the post in which they arrive at Sedgeley... it being my village and all. :D

"Eh, I don't know. What do you think about Carmenia? If she tears off any more of her clothing, we'll be in for a show."

This is so funny! I'm still laughing...

Anyway, thanks everyone, for including her, and everyone did great!

EDIT: (Yes! My first EDIT post, see that Fand? )

Does anyone know if Aeroman is joining? He said he wanted to be a captive of the goblins...I think he may still be able to manage that...somehow...

What's up?

We'll dono and I have a plan about the cave. First off we need to take a rest and do some actual role playing. Stop fighting for a bit while people heal, they dont heal that quickly....

Later on we can leave, but currently we need to stay put and heal for a few days. Then maybe send a few groups to explore the caves, while others stay with the heavily wounded (seraph and henry).

Yea, Carmenia needs another alternative for bandages other than her own clothing heh. Considering the ammount she has used already there probably isnt too much left.

I love the idea of actually roleplaying and developing the relationships between the characters for once. We've had a lot of fighting recently, and now seems a good time to have a break and bond a bit. No heroics, just some good dialogue.

Maybe the characters can start to learn about each other's backgrounds and hopefully this might flesh out the plot ie. Someone reveals they have something they really still need to accomplish, and is part of the reason the came on this mission (I've been thinkin about Henry's motives lately) or they can talk about a shared interest.

The injuries that we have are pretty serious.

Seraph has the most serious. A broken rib isn't life threatening, but it is extremely painful and the road to recovery involves a ton of rest.

A broken wrist will take a long time to recover from as well, let alone the time it will take for Seraph to get it back to full strength.

Henry's injuries are serious as well, but he may recover from it faster. Once the bleeding stops, we just need to be careful not to reopen the wound.

If the group moves, Seraph will have to be on a stretcher. The idea is to keep the rib cage from moving around too much. Injured folks would be towards the center of the group, where the healthy folks will carry the stretcher and provide security.

The second Seraph regains consciousness, he's going to want to get up--not lay around.

Even if he injures himself more, he won't be allowed to rest while the rest of them are forced to walk.

Besides all that...I know how to handle his injuries--I'll have to clarify with Grif though....so next time I see you in chat, Griffy-Poo.

Griffy-Poo?

*stiffles hysterical giggles*

Sabradan, yeah...if you could change your post that would be great...Carmeia isn't such an ass (er--forgive my language). In fact, she quite reserved. But she DOES have her faults...being outgoing and stupid just isn't one of them.

But don't worry, I understand that you didn't really know her character.
