Valentine's Day Review Challenge (2025)

Hello friends and happy (early) Valentine's Day! The Gen Lit crew has cooked up a lovely little Valentine's Day review challenge for those of you interested in doing some reviewing, helping out the community, and, of course... earning a lovely new badge for your collection. who could say no to that?

This cute little Valentine's Day inspired review challenge involves putting together the perfect little basket for a loved one of your choosing! Whether it's a significant other, a crush, a best friend, a relative, or someone else you cherish, this basket is sure to be a hit. Come take a look and see what we have for you this year...

a woven basket with a velvet pink bow: one review of your choosing
a box of expensive and delicious chocolates: three reviews in the Poetry/Lyrics categories
a soft chocolate-brown teddy bear: two reviews in the Short Story category
decadent chocolate-covered strawberries: two reviews in the Novels category
a bouquet of your loved one's favorite flowers: three reviews over the course of three days (meaning one review per day)
a heartfelt, beautifully-crafted Valentine's Day card: three reviews of works currently in the Green Room
pssst: you should have a total of 14 reviews by the end of this challenge!


You have from now until 2/17/2024 8:00 GMT to finish your Valentine's Day basket!

Here are the rules:
1) Only one review can count for a section in the checklist! Altogether, you must have 14 reviews!
2) Each review must have been done from the moment this challenge is announced up until the moment the challenge ends (aka when I post and lock this thread!)
3) To join this review challenge, simply post the template in a reply to this topic and come back throughout the week to edit in your links.
4) Please include links to every single review AND please ensure that your links are not broken. Any missing links or broken links will not count towards your final score!
