We are so excited to celebrate 20 years of Young Writers Society! So what better way to celebrate than with a week-long YWStival of Reunion Activities! We'll have a little old, a little new, and lots of fun! Watch this thread for announcements and links throughout the week and thank you for being part of this little slice of the internet with us. YWS wouldn't be the same without each of you.

Hello YWSers! Have you found your party hats and cake recipes? Birthday Week begins tomorrow! This year is a special one, as we will be celebrating 20 years of YWS's existence! Wow, there's lots about our site to love!

Most of us joined this community because we were searching out a place to share our writing - so what better way to celebrate YWS than with a brand new Literary and Art Collection! Birthday Day



20 years ago, on November 14, 2004, YWS was born. Since then, this community has inspired, taught, and encouraged countless writers to share their writing - some have even went on to be published, many have went on to be teachers, librarians, reporters, and community leaders, and others are making their mark in the world in their own way. We are thankful for each person who has made this community the wonderful place that it is and each person who has shared their writing with us. Today, we also offer a big thank you to Nate for creating this little space on the internet for us to be part of.

Happy Birthday, YWS! And thank you to each of you for being YWS! Cheers to a new decade of writing, fun, community and friendship!
